I was going to say 9 buckets thinking the system seriously flooded. The education the homeowners recieved is beyond value. They also seemed like real good people . Hat tip on finding that 1950's permit...love seeing old items like that

If you use a rebuilt control it should be rebuilt by original manufacture or you will lose the UL rating. Also the switches on them used to be replaceable. And the lower switch will make before the upper switch breaks so that it will feed water before it cuts off on low water.

Good job Mike, Yeah, I was going to say that double switch is seem suspicious, like it was there to shut off the low water valve or refill valve, one or the other, but you can use a ice cube relay or 24 volt contactor to modify the circuit or update the equipment, I like your Trump hat on the dash board.

    7 buckets 🪣 stream bolier

  • @marriagepartnersministry5942

The steam is going out into the system during on cycle and not returning until the off cycle. When theres a long on cycle the boiler water level gets low and the system autofills. When the boiler is in the off cycle alll the water returns including the excess and therefore it is overfilled. Diagnosing why this happens is where the real skill is involved?

  • @tphvac87

7:12 + you're not even seeing the tips of the flame, so you cannot say "yellow tips", what you're seeing is dust and air contaminates being burnt off in the flame, which has a more distinct flickering and uneven orange color flame starting and ending at random heights. you'd have to remove the access panel and look up higher at the actual top of flames to judge it properly, but even then that much airborne contaminates burning off is near impossible to see and judge the flame. 🤓 not trying to bust bawlz, but help improve all.
