This has been one of the more enjoyable shopping trips for me because of the sheer amount of lamps. It's a concentrated, niche shop that left me wanting to learn more. I even bought my own lamp!

"I didn't think I needed a lamp today."
😄🤓😃😁😛😂😜🤣😀😅😎🇺🇸👍
There's a few I don't think I could pass up. The one with the faces was really nice?
Wowza! If I had a million dollars I’d spend it all at this shop 😆 Absolutely breathtaking pieces of history!
Do you know how he acquired all these gorgeous things? It would be so interesting for you to interview the owner. I love your lamp!
it's a long time dealer who specializes and enjoys lamps. like most dealers, estate sales, auctions private buys, flea markets...
I don't what kind of response you were looking for. There's no one place where you can get expensive vintage lamps for a dollar, lol.
Living on the Canadian prairies I don't get to see anything like this - Ever! Thank you so, so much for letting me shop virtually through you, this was great fun.
I live in Tucson Arizona which is a fairly good sized city and I don't see stuff like this! LOL
I've never seen so many beautiful lamps and fish bowls...😳 what? It's just stunning workmanship made to last forever! Look at that!😍 I had to see your video twice. Once with you, and the second time I muted it and stopped along the way and looked at everything! 🤭 Oh My Gosh! What a fabulous video! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
OMGoodness Jeffrey, this was an amazing “shop along” video! You could’ve filmed for a couple of hours and I’d have watched every second. Wonderful shop, hope you show your lamp, which I think, was a bargain. Thank you for a wonderful video. ♥️
"Oh my gosh, with another Dragon on it. It's a common theme around here, Dragons!"
😎😅😀🤣😜😂😛🤓😄😃🇺🇸👍
You say the funniest things!
I love your channel.
Went to your channel and looked at your video list and subscribed.
I'll try to keep up.
I was saying, "Buy the lamp, Jeffrey!" LOL. I loved so many pieces at that shop. Wowzers!
Omg it’s LAMP HEAVEN! That is some of the coolest lighting I’ve yet to see 👌🏼
Their collection is breathtaking. So many unique pieces. So beautifully curated
Wow Jeffery those lamps are stunning ! Well everything was amazing. The care and detail that went into each lamp is astounding. You just don’t see stuff made this way today.
My mother in law has several of these types of lamps. Her home is amazing. But wow, to see all of that stuff together in one place. Simply amazing
Thank you for sharing
In the middle of all the magical amazing lamps we find an unassuming ETCH A SKETCH🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wow, like a museum! I saw things I’ve never seen before: the dish warmer, and pocket watch holder. I kept hoping you’d zoom in a little pink and green lamp-oh well! That dish that said A Woman’s Friend had an image in the shape of a hairpin, so I suspect it was meant to hold pins as she took down or put up her hair. That was an amazing place! And you know a lot! It was great that as you learned more from the owner you gave us the updates. Thank you for the fun video! BTW: I looked them up and The Twisted Whiskers has a FB page and website.
Thank you, I will definitely be looking at their FB page, too- this place is EPIC!
This is a very educational video. I love all the beautiful pieces and their history. Thank you for taking the time to film this and show the details of each piece.
I remember seeing many of these pieces at older family members homes way back in the early 70s. I use to hate them..lol..but I appreciate many of the pieces now. I actually just bought two mid century table lamps while thrifting. (Blue Italian Design) They were so dirty nobody noticed them, except me. I saw them yesterday and went back today. I got them for myself though. If only I had known years ago that these things would be so valuable one day 😕🤔
Just beautiful! Thanks for showing us these treasures!
I’m glad you got something for yourself!
Loved this video. Makes me want to upgrade some of my collections. The quality of these items is superb.
Crazy Lamp Lady might have some competition! I like the Dr cabinet or whatever it's called. Nice place
WOW!!!! That's all I can say about this video!!!! I love it!!!!
WOW! Is right! Thank you for taking us along so we can learn along with you! That place was EPIC! I love your new lamp-!!! xo from Oregon
What an amazing place! great video Jeffery!
Wow, that was like a museum visit. Thank you for taking us with you and for gathering all that info.
Oh my word ! The lamp @07:13 was absolutely spectacular! The one you bought for yourself (Happy Belated Birthday🥳) was definitely my second favorite table lamp. It’s so nice to see a store where pieces are TRULY being saved from disappearing! People see the prices & think they are so outrageous, but when you take into account the amount of work put in to each piece, plus the care & effort by the shop owner to source, verify, research, etc., the price is well worth owning such pieces of art! (At least IMHO, lol). Thank you for sharing such a gorgeous shop with us! As always,🤗💜🙏🏻 plus 😘!

it's true! there's also a little bit of reconditioning involved and things like lamps. sometimes the electrical wire will be frayed and will need to be replaced. in my lamp, it looks like it has been replaced with an authentic corded wire. I know firsthand that these parts cost a bit more than what you can get at The Big box store and it's the little details that make the biggest difference.
We'll be attending the St Louis Antique Festival at the St Clair
Belleville Fairgrounds this coming weekend (Sept 4-5 2021). Hope to see
you there!
You have an amazing store- I really enjoyed seeing it and learning about it all. Best of luck at the festival!!
Loved this visit to the The Twisted Whiskers! So many beautiful lamps, trays, etc. that you rarely get to see all in 1 place! Thanks for taking us along! Enjoy your lovely "cotton candy" lamp!
So glad you bought a lamp. The store was incredible!
That Etch-a-Sketch reminded me of Sesame Street"🎵 one of these things is not like the others🎵" such a amazing store it could be a museum.
Happy Birthday to both of us. The slag glass lamps have a filigree covering. Thought you where searching your memory for the name . I enjoy watching your show
Beautiful lamps! Really special. Quite a collection.
Congratulations on your beautiful lamp....
Very beautiful items!!!Very interesting too! Great find in the middle of the mid-west!! Thank you Jeffery!!
Wow. That was amazing. So happy you took us with you! I have never seen so many beautiful things in one place like that. Makes you wonder where he finds them. He has amazing taste. I now am a lamp lover! Absolutely stunning pieces 😍
I’m saying “that is neat that is neat “ right along with you lol
Great surprise! Loved there store. Wish I could afford to buy a piece.
What a helpful and knowledgeable store owner! He was nothing like the one that poor Jocelyn ran into recently who berated her. Makes all the difference, doesn't it?! That is how you make sales and goodwill in the community. Wonderful store and collection! I learned a lot! And, if you buy a fish bowl, don't give it to a fish. Use it to decorate with instead.
Congratulations on your beautiful lamp!!! I love it too! Enjoy it!!!
That lamp is gorgeous!
Amazing shop, thanks for taking us along. I would have driven that guy nuts, being in there for hours, wanting to know about everything.
You gotta bring Joslin there. What better place for the "Crazy Lamp Lady"

Oh my! So beautiful! I love lamps with fairies/nymphs and flower shaped glass shades. How could you not buy a lamp or two or three. I don't know how you walked out with just one. You have great restraint. That was a magical store. So hoping you go back and visit there again...soon.😁 Your lamp is a beauty...can't wait to see where you set her amongst your other wonderful collections. Thank you for taking us along. 😍
You’ve just reminded me that my brother had a humidor he inherited from our mother. Hmmm… wonder where it is. Thanks for jogging my brain cells.

Hi Jeffrey! Congrats on your new lamp. I have to thank you for taking us on this trip today because you’re right, you just don’t see these pieces often, or never. I’m so glad you walked around to show some of those awesome antiques.
