@Melissa Diamond Well, no one should be putting hands on anyone else. Not only is it a good way to get a criminal charge (depending on if other people see you or you have a vindictive spouse.) But its extremely childish and immature. I understand that in a long term relationship there are bound to be times that fights get out of control and things happen but if what you're looking for is to work through the issue that is being fought about, resorting to passive aggressive behavior (poking fingers in someones face or instigating a physical altercation) isnt going to get you there. And the argument that men have previously done the same thing before therefore it alleviates you of responsibility is a logical fallacy. In summation, everyone are adults. No one should be physically assaulting anyone else and being brave about squaring up with or provoking a man isnt going to do much once you've been clocked. Same for a man, his rationalizations arent going to matter when hes facing a domestic abuse charge. And who would want to aspire to being out of control anyways? Control your emotions and keep it together. 🙂
