Jimi Hendrix was left handed in a right handed world. He learned to play his right handed guitar turned upside down. He learned to play his amazing sounds the “wrong way “. One of the greatest guitarists of all time.
Another one of my favorites, and dare to say, one of the greatest, is Mark Knopfler. He also is left handed but plays guitar regular. Man them guys make a guitar cry or sing!

You did good on replacing that stock. I can’t stand to see a generic telescopic AR stock on an AK, it’s almost sacrilegious.

Sam Houston was a great Statesman for Tennessee before he brought a group of settlers to Texas and then he became a Statesman in Texas. I don't care if people don't like guns as long as they mind their own business. The trouble is too many of them go out of their way to cause grief for the rest of us.
I don’t like obesity. Butt I can’t ban them.
Its arrogance. They think they know what's best, despite how sheltered and uneducated they are. The less someone knows about guns and the effects of an armed population, the more they support gun control. I'll take living in the likes of Texas, Switzerland or the Czech Republic over California, Canada or the United Kingdom anytime. Funny how countries where citizens have the easiest access to guns are much safer and more free than the ones with disarmed serfs. Its almost like criminals, both in the streets and in office, don't follow the law and prefer their victims to be unarmed.

Seeing the Ruger reminded me of last week when you talked about a primer causing drag on the cylinder reminded me what I did years ago. I was shooting in my basement using sealing wax as bullets and just primers. After 3 or 4 shots the cylinder wouldn't turn. It took me "forever" to get it unstuck. With no pressure to expand the primer it just moved back and jammed against the recoil plate. As Bugs Bunny would say "Watta Maroon"
Love this channel. Precision shooting takes discipline of the mind, and Hickok45 is the best.

Zastava M70 7.62x39, my M 70, is a weapon to be reckoned with... Nice AK you have there, Hickok45.
I too have a Zastava M70. I put a Magpul folding stock, Magpul Rubberized grip, replaced the fore grip with a metal TDI grip, new metal perforated heat shield, use Magpul magazines and changed nothing on the guts of the gun. It's a gorgeous accurate reliable beast. Definitely one of my favorites.
Rainy day here in Texas, even though I don't mind shooting in weather. Enjoyed the time spent here.

Greg, for most of us long-time viewers, it's not about the firearms anymore. You're a man that many of us here can either relate to or enjoy hearing. Being a southern man myself, I think it's both. I'm no spring chicken myself, and you remind me of most men I grew up hearing and seeing.

Even though I agree with this, a lot of it doesn't make sense when so many businesses and buildings are gun free zones. It makes self defense non existent with gun laws

I always preferred the wood stock and handguards on the AK...I trained and lead Iraqi troops in 04-05, I shot the underfold, side fold, polymer and wood stocked...I found the wood stocked one the most comfortable and exclusively used it as my rifle when instructing marksmanship with my Iraqi troopers

Mundens Magic can make your pistol capable of putting all of your bullets into the red circle at 15 yards. Jeff can slick the trigger to a smooth sweet pull weight. Also, on the web is a letter that was written from Ruger or S&W many years ago to a customer about the cylinder ring. They wanted to ensure that the cylinder stop securely dropped into the cylinder slot. Its ugly, but a function.

I have the SGL 21 with Russian furniture, a few bakelite mags and AK 74 style muzzle break. I knew as soon as I saw the picture it was a saiga

To respond to Hickok's comments I was raised in a household where Mom did not allow any firearms, the 50s & 60s. She even had Dad get rid of his 38 Special, model I don't remember. and shotgun a Remington is all I remember. We lived in a suburb that bordered on Detroit but also had lots and lots of OPEN LAND to go shooting. A lot of the seniors in my high school had pickups with rifle racks and shotguns in them in the school parking lot. To make my point I did NOT go along with her politics and still don't so when I turned 18 I entered the US Navy (23 years) and one of the 1st things I did was buy myself a Colt Series70 1911 & a Colt Trooper MKIII, both of which I still have and shoot. I've continued to add to my rather large collection over the years and so did both of my younger brothers and my boys. We are certainly not on the wrong side of the 2nd Amendment!
