About
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Beatles, often referred to as "The Fab Four," are one of the most influential and iconic bands in the history of popular music. Formed in Liverpool, England, in 1960, the band consisted of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. They rose to worldwide fame in the early 1960s, leading the "British Invasion" of the US music market and becoming a global phenomenon. Their innovative music and cultural impact helped define the 1960s.
The Beatles' music spans a wide range of styles, reflecting their individual growth as musicians and as a band over the years. They are known for their catchy pop tunes, complex lyrical themes, and pioneering studio techniques. Their expansive discography includes some of the most celebrated albums in music history, such as "Rubber Soul," "Revolver," "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "The Beatles (The White Album)," and "Abbey Road."
"Here Comes the Sun" is a song from The Beatles' 1969 album "Abbey Road." It was written by George Harrison, the band's lead guitarist, and is one of his best-known contributions to the group's catalog. The song was created at a time when Harrison was taking a break from the band's business troubles and the pressures of fame. He crafted the song in Eric Clapton's garden, using it as a symbol of relief from a long, harsh winter, both literally and metaphorically, representing a hopeful look towards better times.
The song features a distinctive use of acoustic guitar, Moog synthesizer (which was relatively new at the time), and harmonies that showcase The Beatles' musical versatility and innovation. "Here Comes the Sun" has been covered by numerous artists and remains a beloved track for its uplifting melody and optimistic lyrics. It encapsulates a moment of light and hope, making it a timeless piece that continues to resonate with audiences around the world.

The Beatles are the William Shakespeare, of music and like Shakespeare they will never be forgotten
the 4x repeat of the chorus midway through with the rising keyboard pitch and handclaps make it special - there's even a penny whistle in there. Beatles and their producers were masters of the unconventional.
Ringo was the secret sauce of the beatles he brought beatles music into your bones incalculable!!!
My Sweet George ❤❤❤🎸🎸🎸
In many polls, Here Comes The Sun is thought of as the best of all Beatles songs.
I don't doubt it.
What polls are they? 🤔
Good, definitely in the top ten, but not number one.
Here Comes the Sun has the most plays oF any Beatles song on Spotify. Over 1 BILLION!!!
Frank Sinatra said it was his favorite Lennon/McCartney song 😂
This is my 2nd favorite Beatles song. George was the most spiritual member of the group and wrote several hopeful, songs such as this and 'All Things Must Pass'.
She saw the light! She is one of us now, one of us now, etc. And you just scratched the surface. There is so much in store for all of us! Thank you, guys and God Bless!
Yay!!
This song helped me when I was down and out
It’s so uplifting!
Eric Clapton was with George in his yard at Friar Park when George just looked at the sun and out of nowhere just started putting the song together on an acoustic guitar.
Eric Clapton was really blown away about how fast it came out of him.
Are you kidding! The music is timeless
They would be so refreshing today
This brings back 1971. Our English teacher was late, so there was a record player in the room, and someone had a Beatles album. We were all dancing to this!
This is one of my favorite if not most favorite Beatles songs. It is a happy song full of hope for a beautiful spring, an end to a miserably cold winter. The riff, Ringo’s opening drums, it all just fits. Absolutely wonderful.
You can never go wrong with the Beatles. And the next Beatles song you hear will never sound like the last one you heard. The greatest band of all time. Good luck with your channel 🌺✌️
That was their beauty.. no two songs were the same.. or even close.
True story. 1970s. We were on our way to a baseball game. Rainy. Overcast. We were pretty sure it was going to get rained out. Stopped at a convenience story. Came out, popped in my Abbey Road 8-track and Here Comes the Sun starts playing from the beginning. At that very moment the clouds parted, the sun came out and the weather was beautiful the rest of the day. This song is magic.
WOW! Just crazy how memories of tunes can affect us so deeply...
When John commented that the Beatles were bigger than Jesus: "I suppose if I had said television was more popular than Jesus, I would have got away with it. I'm sorry I opened my mouth. I'm not anti-God, anti-Christ, or anti-religion. I was not knocking it. I was not saying we are greater or better."
He stressed that he had been remarking on how other people viewed and popularized the Beatles. He described his own view of God by quoting the Bishop of Woolwich, "not as an old man in the sky. I believe that what people call God is something in all of us." He was adamant that he was not comparing himself with Christ, but attempting to explain the decline of Christianity in the UK.
He was being nice because it was the early 60s, later on he would go on to hate on religion😊
I always took John’s comment as an observation on the craziness of ‘Beatlemania’. Screaming crowds and people fainting…. Wow! Someone might think the Beatles are bigger than… I have always thought it was a critique of the fans becoming fanatic over the Beatles.
Sadly, I've no doubt there were ,and are still, people know more about John,Paul, George, and Ringo than they do Matthew, Mark,Luke, and John.
@@scottdavis2252 And that's what he was refering to .
He said more kids were buying beatles records in England than there was going to church
Ringo is the glue. John was the passion, Paul was the drive and George was the quiet observer on lead guitar.
Very simplistic, and lazy media type quote 🙄
Everyone mentions Ringo as the least important Beatle. However, I think the Beatles would have sounded completely different with a different drummer. For any musical group, the drummer has a lot to do with setting the tone of the band. Just imagine what the Beatles would have sounded like with a different drummer. Would they still have been a good band? Absolutely. But songs like "Come Together," "A Day in the Life," "Ticket to Ride," and many others would have a different vibe.
And the same is true for many other bands. For example, I think the Eagles would have had a completely different sound with a different drummer than Don Henley. (Forget for a moment that Henley is a superb vocalist and songwriter, and concentrate just on the sound of his drumming.) With someone other than Henley, the Eagles are still good... just different.
The Beatles themselves were going nowhere and knew it until Ringo stepped in for an absent Pete Best.
As Paul put it, "I looked at John, then at George, and we were all just like holy f***!!!"
"Every metronome needs a Ringo" as the saying goes, and his brilliant, inventive style served every single one of their songs.
Ringo is the George Harrison of the rhythm section--underrated by many, but foundationally 100% essential to the band's sound.
Hey now! It's the Beatles! Paul played drums on a few Beatles songs including "Dear Prudence"! I recommend "Something"! There's no comparison.to George Harrison!
That sound effect you like in the beginning is the usage of the first Moog synthesizer on a pop album. George bought the first one in England and used it here.
John used it on I Want You for the white noise effect.
There would be no today without the Beatles, Music wise.
I am glad you liked this song! David here from Sebring Florida and I have been a Beatles fan and collector for over fifty years. I am confused by your lady friend. She seems to be very sweet but I don’t quite understand how she doesn’t know more about the Beatles? The only thing that I can think of is her parents didn’t play any Beatles music in her house? If you don’t mind please tell us your age. If that’s the case please play all the Beatles songs and show her all the movies and tv shows. So she can get caught up on what she has missed out on. Yes! The Beatles would have been very popular when all the boy bands were out, they were the original boy band! The next song you both should listen to is I want to hold your hand to show her how romantic they started out. 😎
I think that even in today's music scene The Beatles and their contemporaries would still break into the top of the charts....and against much less talented competition than what was around in the early 60's
Cortect = The Beatles will Never be forgotten!❤❤😮
Ringo having to drum several time signature changes...almost no pop or rock drummer was doing that yet when he drummed on this song
On Spotify 'Here Comes The Sun' to date is over 1 billion hits which blows all the other Beatles songs out of the water by several million I'm sure George would of been very happy at that.☀
Heck yes he would!
George Harrison always seem to have a happy voice.
Layer upon layer of beauty... thanks for the reaction.
Thanks for watching! Make sure ya stick around. Plenty more Beatles reactions (amongst MANY others) coming out!
George took a day off from all the meetings and went to Eric Claptons house and went into the garden and wrote this
It’s the difference between an individual song and their overall output. YES they wrote plenty very happy -joyous! -songs, they could even be very silly, but they were rarely shallow.
They could be somber, acknowledge darkness and difficulty as parts of life, but ultimately overall they were forward looking and optimistic.
This one evokes FEELING GOOD (it’s a masterpiece) - an important human experience that makes everything else worthwhile.
The Beatles are timeless! Would absolutely make it today. They are refreshing. People are sick of vulgarity especially in music.
This is going to be the final song of my funeral
Yeah. Me too.
Ringo was not the weak link.
Ringo was the glue.
Watch the Beatles in a recording studio rocking out to an often overlooked Rock-n-roll masterpiece 'Hey Bulldog'.
And for giggles, listen to 'You Know My Name, Look Up the Number.'
And an unique number featuring Ringo's only drum solo and the other three trading guitar solos, 'The End.'
not only on vocals: he wrote this masterpiece. btw in Eric Clapton's garden!
George my favourite Beatle my favourite song of his post breakup was Give Me Love.
They were great song writers and great a songs will always do well.
Oh, you think so? How is it that nearly every song on the radio right now, BIG songs, is laced with awful lyrics? Just watch Beato's video on "How Awful Lyrics are Today." It's a travesty. I'm not saying that "I" wouldn't listen to then today... I'm saying they wouldn't have enjoyed widespread popularity today. Taylor Swift, as gifted as she is, can't hold a CANDLE to anything the Beatles did.
Love your passion for the Beatles. ✌❤
The little fade-down in the intro is a Moog synthesizer. George Harrison had seen one in California and felt like he had to get his hands on one. It was huge and almost impossibly complicated & difficult to figure out, with no instruction manual besides. George was the most technically adept of the band and began fiddling with it until he at last was able to produce some tuneful sounds. HCTS is one of the most classic outcomes of his dedication to this unusual instrument.
Loved my George!💖. He was the best! Miss him sooo much!💔
¹ George Harrison has always been my favorite Beatle, on SO MANY levels!!!
²Neither Yoko nor Linda broke up the Beatles.
³Everyone loves Ringo. He's one of the all around, best ever, great guys. Even when everyone else in the band was at war with each other, they all loved Ringo and he was the main thing that held the band together at the end.
⁴The Beatles would start off with a cult following and then take the world by storm, even today, on sheer talent alone.
I would have listened to this song more than 1000 times & it never gets old. Hard to say the Beatles wouldn't make it today. They essentially changed the landscape for everyone. Quality of song wise, their songs are 100% better than any of the crap released today. The Beatles are still relevant 60 years since they made it big in the US. People will still be listening to the Beatles in 500 years time. You can't say that about modern music.
I'd love to hear Steph's reaction to "She's Leaving Home"
The beatles WERE a happy happy band sunshine!!!
Now let her hear Something.
Greatest song ever written
John said that about Jesus in 1966, and Maureen Cleave of the London Evening Standard was at his house in Weybridge with him when he said it.
She was John Lennons affair girl, and the lyric behind Norwegian Wood.
I WISH you had reacted to the music VIDEO for it, which is REALLY clever and cool, plus you see a few shots of them as well. MOST of their songs had happy lyrics, fun lyrics, lyrics about love. FEW of them were hateful or angry, like a LOT of lyrics in songs today.
I LIVED through "Beatlemania" I was 16/17 years old in 1964. We fans LOVED the Beatles, they were the topic of our conversations, always listening to their records, reading all the magazines that were available on them, plastering their pictures on our bedroom walls, sitting through their movies "A Hard Days Night" and "HELP!" multiple times, watching them over and over again. Lining up for tickets to their concerts. We wanted to know EVERYTHING about them.
As for John Lennon's remark that the Beatles "were MORE POPULAR (not "bigger) than Jesus, was TRUE. We fans were NOT doing any of the things I just mentioned for Jesus. You had to have BEEN there and LIVED through that period to KNOW HOW EXTREMELY POPULAR they were. NOTHING has come CLOSE to that SINCE.....NOTHING.
We EACH had our FAVORITE Beatle, who we WISHED we could date. My friends and I in 1965 and 1966 were the same age group as their girlfriends and one of their wives at that time. We wish WE could have dated them. THEY were the focus of our lives, and were a very fun part of our teenage (and preteen, for some) and early 20s years.
BY the way THEY WERE VERY GOOD LOOKING!!!!
THEY WOULD STILL make it today, because their music THEN is STILL POPULAR and is STILL being discovered and LOVED by young people. In NOVEMBER they released their "last song ever" called "NOW AND THEN" along with a MUSIC VIDEO for it. It had millions of views, went to number one in the UK and Europe. It reached NUMBER ONE on the BILLBOARD ADULT ALTERNATIVE AIRPLAY CHART December 2023 NUMBER ONE on BILLBOARD'S RADIO AIRPLAY CHART. ALSO, reached NUMBER ONE on the DIGITAL SONG SALES tallies and the ROCK DIGITAL SONG SALES tallies in NOV. 2023.
Their music is STILL BETTER than a LOT of what you HEAR TODAY. THAT has been said by MANY young people who are discovering their music today, and comparing it to what they have been currently listening to. There are many Beatles conventions still held around the world, every year. I have been to many of them, and the majority of attendees are FAMILIES, people of ALL ages, including mostly young people who weren't born when the Beatles were an active band.
The same goes for any PAUL McCARTNEY or RINGO STARR'S concerts today. The audience is ALL ages, but primarily YOUNG PEOPLE and they know ALL the words to the songs they perform and are just as excited watching them in concert as we were. So, they are NOT just a "thing of the past" Their music is STILL going strong, still being discovered and APPRECIATED by succeeding generations. Their music will still be around in the future, just as all the other great composers from centuries ago. They have lasted 60 years since they first came to the US. and 62 years since their first record "LOVE ME DO" in the UK and EUROPE. Their follow up single was "PLEASE PLEASE ME" which went to NUMBER ONE in the UK in 1963.
The Beatles would have made it any day
Another fun one to react to would be George's cover of "I've Got My Mind Set on You". I might disagree with you about not making it today, evidenced by the fact that so many of you who are younger are discovering them and I would submit that they're still as popular as ever.
George wrote this song att his mate Eric Claptons poolside one morning
Since you talked about Ringo, please react to Octopus’ Garden!
I concur
Try Let it Be next
The question of whether the Beatles would make it again today is irrelevant, because a historical event never repeats itself a second time. The popularity is still remarkable, 54 years after the split, the Beatles are currently among the 70 most streamed artists, well ahead of Elvis Presley, the Rolling Stones or Michael Jackson, on Spotify, right in the middle of all the artists, who have become big and successful with streaming and the Internet. That without the solo activities of the “Fab Four”. Of the older artists, only Queen is some ranks ahead of the Beatles, which is primarily due to Bohemian Rhapsody. As soloists, the Queen members play no role in this ranking.
Of course I can't look into the future, but I don't think it's unlikely, that the Beatles' appeal won't wane over the decades or even centuries, because that stuff gets stuck in your ears and in your head very quickly and the story of the Beatles is exceptionally attractive.
Whether it will survive a third world war, which, it's hard to believe, is looming in dark clouds on the horizon, as people seem unable, to eliminate garbage like Putin, Trump, Kim and grotesque religions, is another question .
I think the beatles would make it in any decade...
Play "Because" from the same album. She will love it.
Try reacting to "you know my name ..look up the number" i'd love to see stefanie's grimacing face over that song 😂...but it would also show how funny the beatles could be
Turn off your mind,
Relax and float downstream.
It is hard to say if the Beatles would succeed today. Music might be quite different since they spearheaded so much innovation. Someone did a video on all of t heir "firsts". They were the first hand to sell out stadiums and when the existing amplification was inadequate, improvements in the part of sound systems was required. They were the first hand to do music videos when they all got tired of touring. They and George Martin experimented with sound and even brought in unusual (to Western countries) instruments. Even the rooftop concert has been imitated by other. Did they preceded all other bands to be influenced by Indian music and eventually psychedelia? It is hard to say. But many young musicians were encouraged to experiment with their sound as well.
More beatles pls
R.I.P
I understand what you're saying about current music but It can and is being done, just maybe not so much in the US and the UK. I'm 72 so I grew up with The Beatles and was a fan club member and now at my ripe old age I'm a fan club member of a Japanese all female Rock Band called Band Maid. They appear to be even more wholesome than The Beatles, equally talented imo argueably more talented, Jimmy Page is a fan of their drummer and members of SlipKnot and Incubus are also fans of them. They are fundamentally a hard rock band but can do anything from ballads to crazy hard/progressive rock. I honestly think you'd love them, Try Daydreaming MV, Don't You Tell Me live, Endless Story live which are all slow to mid tempo songs and then Hate? live which is brutal both lyrically and musically but is an absolutely stunning performance of a brilliant song.
Being a fan of Babymetal and other things Japanese.. I HAVE heard of Band Maid. I like them alright... but I don't LOVE them. More power to you though sir! Age ain't nothin but a number...
@@aviewfromthestage Fair enough, you gave them a try
And yet, not one single early Beatles song.
She HAS heard I Wanna Hold Your Hand and Twist and Shout and SEVERAL of the earlier songs. She had zero idea that The Beatles had this huge catalog of incredible music later on it their career.
@@aviewfromthestage There's a lot of very great music on their first 3 albums.
John said "bigger than Jesus" in 1966, which led to all the death threats and record-burnings during what would become their final tour. Anyway, welcome aboard, Steph. You totally intuitively got that song. George Harrison wrote it in Eric Clapton's garden one day when the first signs of spring were showing after a long, cold, RAINY English winter. Keep listening, Steph. You're in for a magical mystery tour 💕🌏🎶
Only in the USA
@@DerekDerekDerekDerekDerekDerek their final live performance ever (until the rooftop in 1969) was on Aug. 29, 1966 at Candlestick Park, San Francisco. It came at the end of a world tour, including the USA.
@@buddyneher9359 i meant the religious hysteria
@@DerekDerekDerekDerekDerekDerek ah, right. Yes, that was the US.
Could make it today? As-is, no. But we'd have to factor in their ability to adapt. They were pop bubble gum rock in the 60s then transcended to psychedelic rock by the 70s. Or maybe they'd peak at a John Mayer/Dave Mathews level. They also called it quits at a good time.
Double-down on The Posies. Not for a reaction but their grunge-pop sound should be in everyone's wheelhouse..
Your last sentence about The Beatles is SO true.
That song is on my "immaculate, don't change a thing" list.
The Beatles would go nowhere fast today with the messages they render as opposed to the celebration of degeneracy purveyed in the contemporary world.
My thoughts exactly...
Better start listening to some songs by "The Travelling Wilburys". George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty.
Ya know, I'm pretty sure she has heard Handle with Care. But I don't know about any of the others... hmmmm
A happy band. LOL. Play "Eleanor Rigby" for her.
I did!
No mientas, John dijo que en ESE momento eran más POPULARES que Jesús. Año 65...
Yoko Ono didn't break up The Beatles. She just happened to turn up around the time that The Beatles were breaking up. John was looking for something else and she was it. Had Yoko not been there I'm certain The Beatles would've broke up anyway.
He didn't mean to say that they were actually bigger than Jesus , What he had in mind to say was that people followed them as if they were bigger than Jesus and he lamented that. Just like people pay more attention to television than they do to jesus.
Yoko DID NOT "break up the Beatles" in any shape or form. Lazy, and tired comment of someone with absolutely no idea about what Lennon was about at that time.
She definitely didn't help. There's tons of recordings of them in studio where she is clearly not welcome by anyone except John. She was ans still is a pest. Sure the band was having internal conflicts but having a narcissistic pile of garbage infiltrating the studio, shows, interviews, and even casual gatherings did put a strain on the entire band. No one except John was comfortable around her. So you tell me how exactly she wasn't partially responsible for them breaking up.
I appreciate your love of The Beatles but I wish you would do a bit of research in presenting background “facts”. Lennon’s comments about being “More Popular Than Jesus” were made in an early 1966 interview, that had no uproar when published in England in March of that year but caused an anti-Beatles backlash when published in America in July. Why is the date relevant? Because it impacted their final tour of America, and they stopped touring. The other fact is that his reference was in a wider statement about Christianity’s decline as a religion, which was the experience in England at the time, with fewer people attending churches and religious leaders looking for ways to attract people back to the faith. It had been a topical issue during the mid 60s there. So it wasn’t something said that could be used in a throwaway line now without an accurate timeline or without context, because the reaction in the United States was a significant period in The Beatles career and lives.
I Could not have said it better. Thank you.
It was primarily in the "Bible Belt" in the southern states that took issue with it, not in the rest of the country, We knew EXACTLY what John meant, and he was right! We teenagers weren't lining up for blocks to get into a church. We were lining up to buy their next record or album, or tickets to their concerts.
No John said the Beatles were more popular than the Bible, because of record sales. He was answering a journalist question about popularity. He never said anything about Jesus.
Nope... more popular than Jesus...sigh.
“Christianity will go,” he had said. “It will vanish and shrink. I needn’t argue about that; I know I’m right and I will be proved right. We’re more popular than Jesus now. I don’t know which will go first - rock & roll or Christianity. Jesus was all right, but his disciples were thick and ordinary. It’s them twisting it that ruins it for me.” -John Lennon
YOU WOULD NOT HAVE A TODAY IF IT WEREN'T FOR THEM.
Than a bedpost
hop hop " musik" is Krapp
John NEVER said that. 😞
Said what?
@@aviewfromthestage that the Beatles are bigger than Jesus. He said they are more famous than Jesus.
Nope... he said they were more POPULAR than Jesus... here is the full quote.
"Christianity will go,” Lennon said, according to Cleave's article. “It will vanish and shrink. I needn't argue about that; I'm right and I will be proved right. We're more popular than Jesus now; I don't know which will go first-rock 'n' roll or Christianity."
@@aviewfromthestage And he said it in private to someone who later publicizes it.
Sooooo he DID, in fact, say it then? Lol
The beatles bigger than Jesus should nevet be said!!!🎉
I don't think it's fair to blame Yoko Ono for breaking up The Beatles. There were a lot of internal problems in the band. George had been unhappy for some time, partly because he thought Paul was a control freak. This is clear if you watch the Get Back documentary. John was starting to head in his own direction, both personally and artistically. Yoko was an irritant, and I personally don't like her, but I think they would have broken up even without her.
The Beatles wouldn't have become as big a success without Ringo. Replacing Pete Best with him was the last piece of the puzzle. There are recordings of the band playing with Pete Best, and he clearly wasn't very good. Ringo has never been a flashy drummer. He took only one solo in all of the songs The Beatles recorded. But he contributed so much musically. He came up with all the drums parts himself, and they always complemented the song. He was also rock-solid technically. Many professional musicians have praised him.
Yeah, I agree about Yoko.. but without her... I feel like it would have taken longer for John to branch off to do his own thing. She gave him that "inspiration" or whatnot.
And the part about Ringo? Yeah.. I agree ONE HUNDRED percent. He's a HUGE part of the Beatles success. I wish people gave him the credit he deserves.
Love Steph's comments. But yours? Seriously? You continually throw out rumors (and not just about the
Beatles) that were discarded as BS 50 years ago. I can understand a few mistakes, but it's getting to where you'd like us to believe that "Paul is still dead." Before you give Steph this condescending attitude on music she's never heard before, at least get some of your own facts straight.
At least just a little fact-checking on your part wouldn't kill you, nor your CZcams site.
Discarded as BS 50 years ago? No. The Beatles have sold over 1.6 billion singles and 600 million albums worldwide.
Good-looking? Are you coming out? 60s Beatles, pop. 70s Beatles, edgy.
Ah, it's always enlightening to see someone so dedicated to upholding the ancient tradition of insecurity masquerading as humor. Bravo for the commitment, but maybe it's time to explore new material beyond the playground classics.
No such thing as top hip hop, lol. yeah as of then Jesus was taking a temporary back seat in comparison to the Beatles.
"More popular than Jesus"[nb 1] is part of a remark made by John Lennon of the Beatles in a March 1966 interview in which he argued that the public were more infatuated with the band than with Jesus and that Christian faith was declining to the extent that it might be outlasted by rock music. His opinions drew little controversy when originally published in the London newspaper The Evening Standard, but drew angry reactions from Christian communities (fake Christians in my opinion) when republished in the United States that July.
Go tell it to the mountain because you have to be living in a cave to not have heard of the Beatles...crap
I stopped watching when he said" Yoko broke up the Beatles" That is not true. and means he is full of shit
Harrison's best song, IMO. Weak vocals. (The amount of shake in his voice seems to be exactly the same as in mine.) But a great song sung by a bad singer beats a bad song sung by a great singer.
You’re comparing your voice to George Harrison’s? Get out of here. Beautiful vocals. Not sure where you’re getting this idea that his vocals were weak here.
In terms of "shake", yes. The isolated vocal, which is freely available, is quite bad. Why do you think his vocal was re-recorded when the song was used in a movie? He was a weak singer. All Those Years Ago is especially bad. Try listening before you attack someone for saying things that are actually true.@@hmm3484
Everyone has a stile to their voice that identifies them. You call George's voice shaky and weak..i understand what you are saying and i hear it too. But that is what made the band so different , they had an identity , and when they combined their voices in harmony it was heavenly.. imagine if they all sounded the same.. how boring would have been!
I just wish they had re-recorded the vocal on that one, rather than (apparently) hoping that the other tracks would conceal the problem. George's vocals were usually better than that. I cannot think of another song of his where I wish the vocal had been re-recorded. I suppose these days his vocal can (and maybe already has been) pitch-corrected and spliced back in. I don't like hearing a problem with what is otherwise such a great song.
Amazing how he prospered with that handicap.
