- The landyachtz ATV is my second skateboard I've gotten from landyachtz, the first being the dinghy. Is the ATV able to hold its own against other top brands in the skateboard industry? Well, in this video I give my thoughts on the board and whether or not it's worth the big price.

Glad you're stoked on the board!
ATV's for life!
Y’all are makin some legendary boards
I just ordered a Rally Cat Kimono from you guys and WOW the board is fun to ride. Probably my favourite board ever. I think my next board will be The Clark!
“I don’t know what they put in there maybe some maple syrup” 😂🤣😂🤣
I was acc wondering about these boards, so happy u did a vid on them
Any landyatchz board is gonna be quality, you can’t go wrong with the brand
i just got mine 3 weeks ago, i removed the risers feels much more comfortable. I've gotten wheel bite once, under an extreme lean. Great board might down size my wheel if i get more in to street tricks.
But everything in this review is spot on.
I've been off my board for a bit due to getting surgery but now that I'm back able to ride, your videos are definitely keeping me inspired! This is a great review!
Nice job ..Totally appreciate you actually getting to know it before offering up an opinion.
Of course!!
consistency 💯💯💯🤙🏾
Dude! Why does this video not have more views?! You have a great channel, and you should totally have 50k subs!
i totally agree the dinghy is my favorite board
It really is all that and then some. Only drawback I can see to it is that some things are harder to learn on a Dinghy (slides,180s and Ollies for example).
@@dustmemory9891 if you’re gonna do those, then at that point get a normal trick board. The dinghy is just meant for cruising around, popping some ollies when you need to and maybe some slides.
@@psychocucumber7408 I'm willing to deal with the steeper learning curve. I've given it a lot of thought and I just keep coming back to the dinghy, it's super versatile. I'll probably get a popsicle style board eventually but I'm in no rush, gonna wait for one that really speaks to me.
@@dustmemory9891 yeah I feel you. The dinghy is my favorite and most used board right now. But I must say, having a popsicle deck is loads of fun, you should try it out sometime.
Nice review 👍. Been thinking about getting an ATV-X board but I'm hooked on the dinghy coffin.
I have that exact board, its a great smooth ride and is a lot of fun. I bought it for cruising and having the ability to do small tricks. However, I would say as someone who is new to tricks it's not great to learn how to ollie on due to the weight. Still a great board though.
I'd like to see how that board handle on transition and ramps if you could
I can try my best haha!
Keep goin with your youtube!! Great video man
Great review. I have no idea why you don't have way more views!
After all these years how has this deck and setup held up? Would you score it the same if you reviewed it now. Thanks for specifying the truck size. I was wondering what size truck to put on this deck.
best landyachtz ad of all times
they really should be paying me at this point
@@OgdenSikelyes, definitely!
I just ordered one, can't wait!
oddly specific question, but i get anxious going over those things you went over at 3:21... i have 61mm 78a wheels so they're not small, but i've had those things change up my speed enough to kick me off - i think maybe my front foot bounces forward too far...
do you have any tips for rolling over these naturally (not slowing down to nothing and gingerly pushing over) or is this something i gotta just keep hitting until i find my own groove?
thanks for the continued heavy uploads :D
Yeah, those things are definitely annoying. I get over them by getting some initial speed (cuz going over them slow is a sketchy situation), then i actually lean my body SLIGHTLY backwards to compensate for the initial impact of hitting it.
Alternatively there’s usually a tiny bit of sidewalk on the sides around those things so sometimes you can just dodge them completely
Im interested in getting my first skateboard to use just for cruising around and having fun but some day i may want to learn basic tricks.. currently looking at one of these or a ditch life X dark wave. What would you recommend?
Nice review, and I agree on the price issue. Here in Europe the Landyachtz ATVs are something like 200-210 Euros which gets a little hard to swallow for a popsicle deck+1. Definitely goes into the region of a luxury purchase and not really unique enough for me to consider when compared to the cost of getting a solid deck and putting it together myself. I mean, I could get those same trucks and wheels and still save like 40-50 bucks by using any local street deck, and at that point I gotta wonder if I want the wheel wells and the brand name bad enough to cough up the difference.
I have a Dinghy Blunt Fender and am interested in the Rally Cat, and especially the latter is a board shape you can't get just anywhere.
SOLD. Exactly what I was looking for
Definitely going to pick one up at some point. I'm longboarding ATM to get a feel for just skating but when I want to start doing jumps and street tricks I'm going to pick one up because I don't have a skatepark nearby.
Hope you can review the landyachtz switchblade or evo one day
I’m a longboard rider and I wanna get into street tricks on something like the atv or dinghy so I can also use the board to travel around campus. What would you recommend?
Also thank you sm for the review dude! You really went over everything!
Def go with the atv. The dinghy can Ollie but that’s about it…atv will help you a lot more with street tricks, and I find it to be smooth enough to go over most things in a college campus
Great video, it should have more views.
Appreciate that bro thanks!!
this board look really good and smooth
It is!! Smoothest skateboard I’ve ever ridden
Hey can you do a video on the landyachtz tugboat, I’m super curious about it and how it compares to a landyachtz dinghy like the one you have
Sick Nam I was gonna pull the trigger on the clasic acid wast avt but something came up and I couldn't but I'll get the next chance I get
you could buy bear trucks and the ez's wheels and buying a normal skateboard deck if the graphic and the grip tape doesn't matter am pretty sure you can save a few bucks
I'm curious about the weight you speak of? What boards are you comparing to? I have the dingy and the slim jim spectrum. Feels like the lightest deck in the world, lol. You mean wheel size? Even their trucks seem light to me. Skated a lot but the slim jim spectrum is closest to new school for me. I am riding with Orangatan skiffs and bronson ceramics. Yeah I like bowls so they work well together for me. Really curious what lighter board specifically you're referencing? Modern new-school Skatepark boards here I think are heavier honestly. Even with hollow trucks that people don't ride all the time. Just an opinion though that's why curious of makes and models you're referring to
Yoooo guess who ate sh*t bombing a hill yesterday on the 33 drop cat 😅💀 road rash no fun. Glad it finally happened tho, now I know what’s coming next time 😂
OH NOOOO glad ur okay tho haha
Lol bro I ate it the other day I’m done no more for me
*are the wheels still 60mm? i would rather an ATV with 54mm hwags*
Yeah they’re 60mm…I can definitely understand wanting them smaller tho
Can you test the ATV Jammer? 😅
Was wondering what's up with the ATV ty for the vid today I fell backwards while trying to do a back tigerclaw I slipped from the tail of my tan tien for now I will start to save some money for a Timber axolotl heard that is a top board
Oh no hope you're okay! Timber boards are great by the way!! They're based in Europe so the shipping is a little much for me but yeah they rock
Are atvs good for cruising?
Skateboarders: thinking 170 is expensive for a board
Me: totally didn't just spend 285 on a longboard
HAHA to be fair skateboarders go thru boards a lot faster generally so if they were super expensive we’d all be broke 😭 but I feel ya I have a $320 longboard haha
@@OgdenSikel fair enough
Altho my mum wasn't happy I spent that much on it 🤣🤣
How dose 54mm 78A wheels sound for a cruiser skateboard setup ? Or do I go with a 60mm 84A ?? Which one do you think will be softer ?
I have longboards & I am looking for something short but not unusable like a penny or nickel
Also if you read this, this was the review I was looking for but I don’t want to buy a ATV I want to use my existing components with a wheel swap recommend some good wheels. Are css cruiser wheels good they’re 78a 54mm or should I go for wheels with a lip
I haven’t heard of css wheels but they would probably do the trick. You’d be fine with either 54 or 60mm wheels but the 60s might be a little softer on bumpy roads…make sure you get some really good bearings too and wheels with lip help with stability if you think you’d need that!
I'm Indian and this skateboard cost a lot literally i can buy a 1 hand cycle without gear☠️
I love Landyachtz, but you should check out the eggboard! I’d love to see a review on that. I just picked mine up for $99 and I’m excited to try it out.
I’ve tried a knockoff one before but yeah I’m definitely down to check out theirs as well!
Why didn't you get the ATV X version of this board? It only costs $10 more right? Also make more landyachtz videos, do the Drop Cat 38 or the Dipper!
It was sold out that’s why…also I still don’t understand what’s difference between the two?
@@OgdenSikel I see. The difference between the two is that the ATV X version has the fiberglass layer similar to your dinghy turbo!
Ahhh gotcha
Know this old but do you think I could throw 63mm fatty hawgs on one of these without an added riser?
hmmm you could try, but I think the risers might be needed if you 100% didnt want to get wheelbite
@@OgdenSikel appreciate it. Just ordered both and will try
for tricks would this or a normal skateboard be better?
definitely a normal skateboard, but this is way smoother on rough ground so it's worth the tradeoff if you're doing off road stuff
So, dinghy cruser or atv is more better fr beginners?
Hmmm honestly both are fine, just depends on whether you wanna go all out on tricks, or all out on cruising and portability
@@OgdenSikel i have a skateboard n i have a cruiser board, however im thinking of getting a landyachtz merch thats best of both worlds.. yea thats the issue at hand
So did you get the standard ATV or did you get the X construction one?
This is the standard one…the X was sold out at the time I bought it
are these the same hawgs the tugboat has?
This or the bustin yoface??
next time u do some grinding shots, bring a potato to rub on the ledge it works 🤣🤣
