Wow. Amazing effort. I thought the miles of bushwacking I went through on my goat hunt tough until I watched you. I did harvest a great billy but the pack out was the hardest physical challenge I have experienced. Thanks for sharing your adventure.

Thank you! A billy would have been amazing to take home after all that. Can’t control the weather that’s for sure.. But it was one I’ll never forget, and I can’t wait to get back after them again. Good luck out there, and stay safe!

Great story, that's goat hunting! Seems like it's mostly about whether you can see more than 50 yards, and most of the time up there, that's a negative! Nonetheless, an epic adventure, amazing wildlife.

Thanks man! We have talked about this hunt many times. We had an opportunity to go to a different area but the unknowns about this spot was mostly why I was drawn to it. Looking back obviously it was the wrong decision haha. First and foremost the adventure is what I enjoy about mountain hunting, if it was just about shooting an animal I can think of just about anywhere that’s easier to do that! Thanks man! There were many parts of this trip that was absolutely miserable. But it was one heck of an adventure. Looking back I probably should have just went into an area with more information. But we left with some great memories with from this one.
