Thank you Perry for the detailed vid! I've got an H7 Plus on the way for Christmas for my 2020 Model 3. I just installed Hansshow's carbon fibre yoke and F9 display (with passthrough airflow). The yoke was a cinch to install but the F9 was a challenge because my car has the Intel Atom processor; the AMD Ryzen is supposedly a lot easier to get to. Hopefully I don't have to go the complicated route to get the ODB connections for the H7 Plus. :)
I wish i watched your video first. I got confused with snither hanshow 7" install video and had to put everything back together as i ran out of daylight. I was literally 3 connections (obd and power) from finishing! Thanks for sharing.
hi again Perry, i am considering purchasing one of these screens for my model Y for my kids mainly. Can you please tell me the pros and con of purchasing the H7 Plus against the older version H7. I see the H7 Plus does not have its own internal speakers but the H7 does???
To be honest, I am not too sure, there are too many different rear screen out there these days, I haven't even used mine much since my wife drives the Model Y daily and even when we go on trips, my kids don't really mess with it much
Hello, may I know how did you get CZcams App working? Mine just get stuck at "the loading circle" forever. Tried factory reset, update CZcams app, update Google Play Service... Ty!
Hi Perry, I’ve watch a few different screen installs and yet to see anyone disconnect the 12v battery and also the high voltage terminal lead inside the car? Other installers simply go to safety on the screen and power off the car??
Did your unit arrived. Looks like most of the apps are not working on my unit. I also used the promo code and ordered during Black Friday. Disappointed that apps are not working, feel like wrong advertisement luring people to buy for only limited features. Wish I can return it :(
@@bobanaleksic6260 sorry for your experience, which app in particular are you referring to? I’ve only personally used the Netflix and CZcams app, and tried the mirroring feature, all worked fine, but I haven’t tried anything else since I don’t think I have the need for any other apps
@@TeslaDIY I have tried all, Netflix only works. Pre-installed CZcams app does not work. System is pretty laggy if you trying to use any other app. Most streaming apps are not compatible or not working. Netflix, Hulu etc not working.

I normally do when others do, I didn’t see others doing it as well so I didn’t, I guess it doesn’t hurt for the extra level of safety

I don't, its the wifes daily and i honestly havent had a chance to use it much
Can you hook up a bluetooth game controller?
I have not tried, I think you can, just like how I paired it with a blue tooth speaker, but I have not explored into gaming with this screen
