What do you think? I'm going to look at recording more beginner videos this week. Learning to cut / trim on paint, the tools I use daily (what's in my tool pouch), tools and lighting in the shop, how to squeegee / dos and don'ts, popping air pockets, and water bubbles with a syringe...

Awesome videos, curious about the clean squeegee and the pink/orange squeegee. It seems the links in your description are broke. Please keep making these videos.
Let me look into those tools and update the links. Thank you for letting me know! I know the orange squeegee has a hardness rating of 90a. That's my goto while installing. The smaller pink squeegee is harder and is great for areas that need a lot more firm pressure. The cleaning squeegee is called a "one pass." I really like it for the final wipe down, right before I lay the material on the vehicle.

Awesome detailed video! One newbie question for ya. When you are pulling the corner taught and create the pocket bubble and then burp the bubble, does that create undue tension for the material at the spot? And DANG you have an incredibly steady and precise hand to make that cut down the middle of the hood without cutting the hood!
Thank you! 😁 during that process the tension should be pretty minimal. Also know that PPF is stretched way more during installs and can handle a lot more tension without a problem. 👍🏻 Let me know if that didn't answer your question. 😁
Gotcha. I just wasn't sure how ppf's properties were when it dries completely and if it has a tendency to pull back if under too much tension. Really appreciate all the great info!
No problem. I enjoy answering questions! The adhesive on PPF can handle a lot of tension once it's dry. Especially when it's an edge like that, that gets wrapped to the bottom of the hood.

I will be applying PVC PPF to a Toyota Corolla. Do you have any tips for this type of PPF?
Wow, Brazil. How long have you been installing PPF? The internet is a great thing. We can share things with the world. I don't have much more info than my videos show. When are you installing on the Toyota. I'll look through my recordings and see if I have footage of a Toyota.
This will be my first time applying PPF. I'm learning through your videos before starting the application in my car.
I will apply PVC PPF because it is cheaper than the others.
Even though the language is different, I'm learning a lot from your videos.
Awesome, I'm glad they are helpful! Are the prices hugely different from PVC to TPU? Have you been practicing cutting ppf on balloons or old and crashed (from an auto body shop) painted panels? It's a huge help. It's great that someone new to PPF can get so much info about the process on CZcams! This stuff wasn't a thing when I started in PPF. 😁👍🏻
Here in Brazil, TPU PPF is more than 10X more expensive than PVC.
I will start training the cut in balloons before applying it to my car.
The PPF that I will apply is manufactured here in Brazil, it is from the Alltak brand.
Should I apply using slip solution on the material and the car or just using a thermal blower?
I'm asking because I saw some people here in Brazil applying the PPF using only the thermal blower.
We're they applying PPF or vinyl. There are some PPFs that have air releases adhesive. Is that what alltak is selling? If so, dry is an option. Air release PPF is not something that I have experience with. We are looking into ordering some colored PPF made by FlexiShield. Their product has air release and is applied dry but can also be applied wet. I'll do some videos with it if I decide to try it. I searched up alltak but can't read any of the info on it because none of it is in English.
With all that being said, I'd wet apply it like everything in my videos. Dry apply is a whole new technique for me to learn.

I have a problem with ppf not sticking to new headlights. What do you think?
Less soap and a lot of tac solution. Sometimes, you need to tac a part down and then give it a minute. Then start your stretch. Headlights are less porous than paint. That makes it harder for the PPF to tac to them. 👍🏻
