    "London" premiered in September 2020 on PBS.
    The artist and composer Christian Marclay works with the interplay of sound and images through a variety of media, ranging from performance to printmaking, video, and collage. Marclay recounts his artistic beginnings as an experimental DJ and musician without formal training, when he was influenced by conceptualism, musique concrète, punk rock, and the work of John Cage.

    Marclay is an incredibly sensitive meter of our common culture. He modulates his response, he is open to ideas, and new trends, and he embraces both historical time and the NOW. What a brilliant artist.

    💕💕💕💕💕💕💕I waited in line for The Clock for 8 hours in NYC winter before I gave up and saw the entire work in two epic settings at the SFMOMA. 💕💕💕💕💕worth every effort, this guy is incredible. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

    it's interesting to see an artist who has been insulated from modern phone culture to react to it in a naive sense. I'm so bored of artists reacting to social media when they've always swam in it.
