There are a lot of nice littlde details in the fight. Like them taking off their clothes. They have to wait for an opportunity to do so because in a real fight they wouldn't just wait. Or when they moved furniture out of the way for more space.
Yuen Biao, Sammo Hung and Jackie Chan, best three of their time. Powerman; This is the best martial arts film. The punches and kicks come with pure force, something like that was not seen in any other martial arts film from the 80s. or 90s.

and Benny diservers credit too... being a professional martial artist he performed real good in the goofy yet convincing combat since.. including comical aspects which I think is not easy to get through...
I can not believe this is film was made over 38 yrs ago. Not only its iconic and none of the stunts age in time, I wager no Hollywood productions even in 2024 can match this with the Action choreography, Comedy and the fighting authenticity. If this is not classic, what is ?
Never have Fights like this ever again, with two power houses go toe to toe and make the fight adrenaline fuel excitement like this. Always make me get on the edge of my seat every time I watch.
Bruce Lee was an efficient, direct fighter, but Jackie Chan was an entertainer like no other. I was fortunate enough to grow up watching these greats make wonderful movies and memorable memories

中学生の時、映画館に観に行った。カンフー映画が一番輝いていた頃ですね。ベニーは存在は知っていたが映像で見るのは初めてだったのでその迫力に驚きました。
劇中でジャッキーが軽くブレイクダンスを披露するんだけどなかなか上手かったな

I like the little detail of them having to get a hit in before they can take off their clothes. In a real fight they wouldn't just wait but attack you instead. And these kind of clothes are inconvenient in a fight.
