I got this almost Apple CarPlay Soundstream monitor from my local flea market about it keeps on disconnecting on me while is Connected to Apple CarPlay? I did a factory reset and my iPhone 14? But still it keep you on disconnecting. What should I do?
Boought a c6 vette recently and it came with this unit. I cant seem too get carplay to work... Ive tried plugging into the unit via the USB port on the left side and no luck
Carplay and android auto is to bw plugged into the right usb only
Be sure to have a solid usb cable the cheaper one's wont work

@SanHoShArKs408 no problem I hope it works out for you. As for the CZcams i downloaded an app to my phone that downloads third party apps to Android Auto. Thereight be something similar for Apple Car Play
I got the soundstream vm 700hb, i cant find how to display the name of the song/album on the screen when im listening to music. If anyone can help thanks
Hey Big i tried to install my new Soundstream VR7HB radio and i followed the directions connecting wire for wire and im not getting any power at all. Is yellow wire= constant 12v+
Black=ground
Red=Accesory
Orange/White=Dimmer
Orange=Illumination?
I got these color codes from the guy on "Provo Best" youtube site.
Also on the back of my old radio from my 2013 Chevy Captiva Sport LT and when i pulled the radio out there was a usb-b i think its what its called. Its a square type of connector that was used on older cellphones but on my Soundstream i dont have such a connection on the rear of my Soundstream. All i have is my 2 adaptors,antenna and a plug. Can you tell me if the color codes above are what i should be using. Ill have to check the color codes on the instructions that came with the new adaptors. Also the new radio doesnt come with color codes except what the new radio plug shows? I appreciate your help as im not getting amy power to the Soundstream?
Everything still all good with the unit. Is it glitchy? How is the Bluetooth connection?

I'm debating on this or the Jensen 10-in model. Any thoughts?. I'm kind of leaning towards this one because it has the DVD, but the Jensen has the wireless Android auto.
As soon as you said wireless android auto I'm curios about the Jensen. That's really one thing I'd like this unit to have but i do really like it and it's holding up to alot more bass than i thought it would.
@@BIGJURAY20 Wow, good to see you are still using this unit. I'm also considering it (along with the Jensen) and your update gives me a bit of confidence if I choose it. It's over one Benji cheaper than the Jensen I like, but I would prefer the USB connections to be in the back to avoid the hanging cables. Nice video!

Hey thanks for making this video! This was really helpful. I currently have an RV that has an E450 Ford chassis. It has a smaller soundstream unit in it but the 6 inch screen is just too small and too glossy to see. I like this new Soundstream unit over the similar one from Sony for a few reasons. I like the tactile knob for volume. When driving, it’s much easier to touch a knob than look for a plus or minus button. I also like that it has more inputs and connections than the Sony. I haven’t installed my own head unit before, but it looks like you’ve done a great job. I’ll have to get the old Soundstream out first of course. I was wondering if the head unit simply can install from the front, Or do I have to remove any of the dash to do this? Again, thanks for this video! Enjoy your unit
Thank you for the response I really appreciate you tuning in. For my install I did have to pull some of the trim panels off to get to the needed screws to install the radio but some vehicles can be installed easier. I really like the u it and the volume knob over touch volume is a good reason why I chose this over others and of course the 10.6" Adjustable screen was definitely a plus
@@BIGJURAY20 Thanks for the fast reply! It looks like it also comes with a remote control like my current Soundstream which is cool. I don’t need the model with the CD or the DVD as I have a TV and a DVD in the RV. But the TV plays it’s sound back through the Soundstream which then goes to all the speakers! It didn’t look like the Sony had an Aux input so I’m going to stay with Soundstream. Your sound stream unit also appears to be pretty unique in that you can turn the screen and tilt it anytime you want for best view. The Sony looks like it adjust some but it’s done with screws at the time of the installation. In any event, I don’t think I can go wrong with the sound stream. Keep on enjoying and have a great holiday!
Yes the unit comes with a remote for convenience but honestly for mines it's such a big unit I haven't used it at all. I appreciate the love and support. Happy Holidays to you and your family
What app did you download to play CZcams on the radio called?
The app is called AAAD. You have to download the APK File from online.

Lol all this time and i never really paid attention to it. But it's definitely misspelled
just got my 2011 Honda Civic LX back from having this radio installed and there's no readout on the screen whatsoever. The controls along the bottom of the unit light up, but nothing else. Called tech support and he had me reset the unit (small button behind the screen), and remove and re-place the screen, and, nothing. Support wants me to mail the entire unit back for repair, but it was never used. Deeply disappointing. Is there a fix to this problem before i go through all the trouble of shipping it back?
Unfortunately the lights are all supposed to work. But be sure to look in the radios settings to be sure it isn't something minor

Bro! I’m trying to run this TXP1-18000. I have a 200 amp alternator. What batteries did you run? Do you think 2 or 3 of the xs power d5100 would be enough? If the amp pulls 4-5 hundred amps and I’m going to get that Picasso nano. Let’s say that draws about 100 amp. I need to cover about 6-7 hundred amperage in batteries right?
I had 120ah Cmax Lithium and 370amp High Output Alternator. It's not needed for the amp just saying I had enough electrical. As for you running 3 D5100 those are pretty big agm batteries they should hold up ok with both amps

Just the double din radio kit for my truck and screwed the necessary pieces on the side of the radio is the only thing needed to allow it to sit flush. From there it was plug and play

The quality is good but I haven't hooked it up to an amplifier yet

Radio is solid I really like it but I don't have a system in my truck yet to know how well it holds up. I'd recommend it as it is though

For the steering wheel controls you installed something else or they can be used with stereo
I never installed the module u need to keep the steering wheel controls. The screens so close I just use it
Were you able to connect the Firestick to the unit?
Also, does the center nob have a purpose other then volume? Like "enter" when you make a selection.
You know what that would be a nice feature but unfortunately it's just a volume and mute button that I noticed so far
As for the Fire stick. I decided to keep it for my bedroom so I will have to buy another and a rca to hdmi converter for it to work
I have the same phone as you. I think during one of the recent updates, the audio doesn't work when I mirror my phone to the unit. It worked about a month ago but no longer. I still get video but no audio

Yes, sound works when on Bluetooth. Before hand my phone used to give me the option on where the audio would play when I was mirroring the screen. But no longer

I'm extremely interested in this source unit both the Vrcpaa-106m & Vrcpaa-106f. Ive been looking into this source unit for a while and can't find anything anywhere. I've been trying buy this model for past 3 months

There are a few on ebay for around $400
I bought one on eBay for $340 & it's amazing

1. Yes u can watch movies on it via DVD. The radio doesn't come with phone mirroring but if you have Android there's an app u can download that allows you to. 2. Yes the screen tilts i show this in this video i made of the unit. 3. I believe you can adjust the brightness but i never needed to

No system in yet radio is currently playing stock speakers but I like it look forward to getting things going with system soon

Bro. I have the same truck. Does it get in the way of your gear shifter?
It can depending on how high u have it shifted. But because of the shifting u can just move it out the way while in Drive. So it's not a problem I really like it and haven't had any issues with it

I have no complaints about the unit it does what I need it to sometimes a little more
I paid a little under 400 for the unit and it happens to be the most I've paid for a radio but no regrets. I haven't played it with an amplifier yet so we'll see

Did u try updating your phone? Also look up your model radio to see if any firmware updates are available
Lastest Software/Hardware is 2.0.0 and I have lastest IOS
