When you play for hour or longer really (concert-like) loud its not that easy to tune your guitar that fast, you keep hearing buzz in your ears from all those distortions. But not only he did save song - he even made it better!

The thing about the performance is that it is not concocted at all, Kurt would often wear his heart on his sleeve, that's what i hear in this performance. Some fake their art and them some make it for real. This is real art.Its a ballsy performance. Few artists are in the same league.
Considering how trim of a band Nirvana was, they sounded great live. Lots of energy, charisma, and a lot of humurous acts. Nirvana were amazing live and played their asses off. Sometimes it took a toll on Kurt's singing or playing (there were times where they would tour for 4 months straight and no breaks). Go watch live at the paramount and watch Kurt's playing and singing, it's amazing. Also watch Territorial Pissings live on Jonathon Ross. Shit is mind blowing.
