I just bought one and I love it. I've just grated carrots for a carrot cake and it takes a fraction of the time compared to a box grater. I use lots of grated cheese and this is just fantastic for cheese grating. Best thing about it is I got it on sale for almost half the price.

It works great but this is a light duty chopper for a quick meal so don't put anything hard in there. Carrot is as far as hard as I'll use it for. It isn't super durable since it's all plastic. It's convenience and easy to clean as well and not as clunky as the heavy duty one.
I bought this little wonder because I was hoping to save time making veggies into cubes and of course that is the only cone that doesn't exist. I think it is too expensive to keep just for grating cheese and doing cucumbers and such. I think I am sending it back.

At the end of the day you can do everything this machine does just using your knife, what a waste of money. Invest in your own cutting ability instead of these stupid machines.

Finally a food processor for vegetables such as garlic / and so on that we can put the little grading trays in to the dishwasher on low heat.
how durable is this, i am thinking of getting one but it looks like it might break if you are to press to hard.

Dean66 - this isn't an add. The food processor is great for cheese - the harder the cheese the better. Makes short work of Parmesan.

There's a wide variety of disabilities that makes grating/chopping really hard or totally impossible.
