- In todays video we are spreading in style as the demo umbilical outfit has arrived !! We out her straight to work on the outfarm as we've ground to spread to get grass growing,.
Just to make perfectly clear Slurryquip have dropped up the demo unit to us for us to try out but i'm under no obligation nor am i being paid to make a video on it. However of course i have made a video because i think its one cool outfit and certainly looks the part.

The upside is that by dropping the back reeler off your lighter and you can reel up your front reel, put it on the back and then put your back reel on the front and roll it up with the front reeler which saves the ground even more
The only way you'd find that machine down here in Clare this year is with a metal detector 😂😂😂.

Very nice bit of kit. But I can't understand why they sent it out on standard wheels and tyres given the ground conditions this spring. It would be pointless taking that machine into 99.99999% of the fields in Donegal.
That front reeler looks some handy piece of kit. When it comes to upgrading/refreshing your setup that reeler would have to be on the list.

Beautiful tractor, big tires probably comes in handy. Good to see you are trying new things. Google does help with translating miles to Kilometers and vice versa. It's good to keep learning. I know driving a car in Ireland compared to the States was a challenge at first but so much fun!

You can mix the tank with a compressor and a bar just stick it inbetween the slats we do it and it does a good job
how do you mean a bar? I suppose it's similar to the air pipes they sell now

Never understood why people don’t take the reelers off. The whole point of the pipe is to be light on the ground

Nice looking bit of kit, surprised you can drive over your pipe when it's full of slurry.
That Massey looks good, but man it would have been a beefy tractor with some wide tires :) I guess the back reeler must come of is a thing of preference, I guess it's easyer to take it on and off than your old system :)

Drove by your area today and i think i seen a preview of a demo lol, all il say is i seen was a loader and a red tool on the front tootin about. Was weird passing buy seeing outisde the farm in the flesh! Got a 160 fine for doing 80 in a 50 in longford loln

You can use the drone to check when your pulling pipe out a gap and see what it’s doing.

The slurry will do f all to kill the old grass in this weather. Feel free to send some of that rain to the east to help with the cause :). It's starting to look like 3 months of spring drought in central Europe like the last couple of years, even if the temperatures are a month early. Could we get an update on your orchard and the bees? those apple trees should show some progress if you didn't give too much freedom to the bacon. Also, dedicated video on the bees with your mentor or your local beekeeping club representative would make for an interesting video, I'd love to learn more about the Irish black bee.
Haha you can have as much of it as you want, we've had 4 dry days in 10 months. If we could export water we'd be happy 😂
