The purpose of the training was to provide an overview of the different Troxler gauges, how they work, site preparation, how to take measurement readings, and how to address possible errors or variations in readings.

    i borrow a troxler that was abandoned some years back it when inserting proctor it give me four paces PR 19364...............what should i do

    Hello there. When we transfer the dry unit weight result we obtained as a result of our standard proctor test in the laboratory to our Troxler 3440 device, it makes a reading of 115%. What is the problem?

    ?? if you are testing an approx. 6" layer of crushed material which was placed on a clay fill and the point of the testing rod is touching the clay layer. will that give you a false reading?? also what if the surface has small amount of water on it??

    So when does the video actually show us how to use the gauge. This video is all paperwork and rules but no knowledge for hands in usage.
