The golden years of the Ottoman Empire come to life in a television series. The life of Suleiman the Magnificent is preparing to be a guest in your homes in all its glory. Get ready to experience the era with ambition, loves, wars and all the struggle.
Prince Solomon, with his closest man, Ibrahim Pargam Ibrahim receives the bad news in a hunt. His father Yavuz Sultan Selim Khan passed away. Prince Suleyman sets out for Istanbul without waiting. Prince Süleyman quickly reaches the capital. He attends the culus ceremony without waiting. His life changed in one day. He started his life as Sultan Süleyman.
Meanwhile, a galley loaded with slaves coming over the Black Sea is heading towards Istanbul. The hottest of the slaves is not yet aware that he is on a journey that will change his destiny. He is rebelling helplessly to return.
Sultan Süleyman wants to show what kind of sultan he is by the commands he gave on the first day of his sultanate. But not everyone will like these decisions. Sultan Süleyman does not hesitate to challenge all of Europe with the messages he sends.
Alex, despite all his rebellion, is brought to the Topkapi palace. His attitude attracted the attention of Valide Sultan from the first moment. But it won't be long before Alex learns the rules of the palace. He chooses a great target. Alex, Sultan Suleyman's first night on the way to attract his attention. Sultan Suleiman's wife Mahidevran just arrived from the palace of Manisa. He is looking forward to seeing his wife.
Şehzade Süleyman, en yakın adamı Pargalı İbrahim ile birlikte çıktığı bir avda alır kötü haberi. Babası Yavuz Sultan Selim Han vefat etmiştir. Şehzade Süleyman hiç beklemeden, İstanbul’a doğru yola çıkar. Şehzade Süleyman hızla payitahta ulaşır. Hiç beklemeden cülus törenine katılır. Bir günde hayatı değişmiş. Sultan Süleyman olarak padişahlık hayatına başlamıştır.
Bu sırada, Karadeniz üzerinden içi köle yüklü bir kadırga, İstanbul’a doğru gelmektedir. Kölelerden en ateşli olanı ise, kaderini değiştirecek olan yolculuğa çıktığının henüz farkında değildir. Geri dönmek için çaresiz bir şekilde isyan etmektedir.
Sultan Süleyman, padişahlığının ilk gününde verdiği buyruklarla nasıl bir padişah olduğunu göstermek ister. Ama bu kararlar herkesin hoşuna gitmeyecektir. Sultan Süleyman ise gönderdiği mesajlarla, tüm Avrupa’ya meydan okumaktan çekinmez.
Alex, tüm isyankarlığına rağmen, Topkapı sarayına getirilir. Onun bu tavrı ilk andan itibaren Valide Sultan’ın dikkatini çeker. Ama Alex’in sarayın kurallarını öğrenmesi uzun sürmez. Kendisine büyük bir hedef seçer. Alex, Sultan Süleyman’ın karşısına çıktığı ilk gecede onun ilgisini çekmeyi başarır. Sultan Süleyman’ın eşi Mahidevran ise Manisa sarayından yeni gelmiş. Eşi ile görüşmeyi sabırsızlıkla beklemektedir.

I love that even though he is the Sultan and have hundreds of servants that could carry Hurrem to her Chambers, he is still carrying her all this way. Its just so sweet
The fact that she was smiling after seeing suleiman while dying because she had him in front of her eyes is the kind of love I'm living for.

Facts! I’m team Hurrem.
Explained why Mahidevran forgives Hurrem in their last meeting. She too, with Valide & Ibrahim somehow contribute the evilness in Hurrem. Doing all bad things in hide as everybody seen only good in them on the other hand condemning Hurrem as she is the only bad one. This cruel system made cycle of malicious acts never stop it passed from Valide to Hurrem and finally get to Turhan.
Would never team with Hurrem - a calculated, manipulative, cunning and power-loving woman. Don't forget that in real life she murdered many people not just Mustafa, used black magic and was ruthless. By the way, they don't show true events in the series. Mahidevran did beat her up but she never killed any of Hurrem's children.

I love this scene! And Ibrahim was the man who losing the war without fighting. This is the moment that Suleyman completely understand that he not just in love with Hürrem, but she is his breath, his heart, his soul.

Its so sweet and heartbreaking to see that Hurrem smiled after seeing Suleiman. Now this can be interpreted in two ways. Either she thought that he was here to save her or she smiled because she thought she was dying and wanted to die by seeing his face. She have said before that she want to die while looking at him and she smiled because her wish was coming true. Either way it is such a sad scene

Ibrahim witnesed so many times just how strong their love was, heck God knows how many times Suleyman himself told him how important Hurrem was to him yet he still wanted to get rid of her. Its true that Ibrahim was important to Suleyman BUT Hurrem meant way more to him, the man didn't care about anything when she was kidnapped he was depressed and numb.

If it wasn't for the fact that I know how easily people go missing everyday and how loads of people can never find them but 5yrs later their bones can be found exactly where people looked, I would call such BS that no one saw she was literally laying right there.
Sad but very true. The beautiful thing about this clip is it depicts the raw nature of a man to his woman. Sulyman knew she was still alive. There weren't the external distractions we have today. His senses were fully attuned to her essence. This program may be fictional but the ability to tune into your mate is very real.
