Most screen accurate bumblebee I’ve ever seen but I’m still biased with the size cuz I would’ve instantly bought this guy if he was scaled with the masterpiece figures

I wouldn't mind if they just took the original MPM Mold and replaced the vehicle "shell" with the different Camaro model shells.

To be fair, when they announced the original SS figure I was expecting something closer to this, not 100% but I was really hoping for this door and wheel configuration and the hood conversion

I feel like this figure is for fans of bee and have many figures of bee and I wouldn't mind having a huge bee on my shelf. I'm collecting studio series toys and I have a few bee figs so I won't use this figure as a ss bee
I believe it's something for parents who are buying toys for his kids. I remember having a Leader Class Bumblebee as a kid (I still have it). Well, kids are the only ones who Don't mind a so big Bumblebee lol

The original DotM figure was good, but I want to see what Studio Series has in store for it. Perhaps a “stealth-force-esq” kind of form?
I'm surprised that his arm guards are under his arms as it should be. Now I hope Hasbro and Takara actually fix that for the DotM version of Bumblebee like how they remold Grindor to have articulated fingers.

My Battle Ops Bumblebee has recently broken, but I believe this will be a worthy replacement.
Your review is quite fair.
Personally I love the accuracy of design in robot-mode, not a big fan of up scaled figures, and some pegging could be improved in alt-mode. I wish they reworked Human Alliance with interiors seats combined with this transformation design, able to fit 3-3/4 scale figures, that would have been epic. Overall I like it as an addition to my collection; I prefer to display it in robot-mode, although it takes a lot of space and doesn't scale with other figures.

The legs on this figure look closer to the cgi model when compared to the masterpiece one
Pretty normal. Except he has 2 extra pair of wings which are the headlight. Tho got a friend who made a lego one with it

Considering this figure is such a mixed bag and won’t fit into any collection, I really wish they’d given us another devastator component instead.

That back kibble is great, barely anything on there
I personally think that mpm Bee is obviously better than this....but Idk man, the only downsides I see with this figure is the size and the back looks a little effy, otherwise this guy looks elite to me. I give it about a good 8.5/10. Now what you're saying about the bland plastic, I'll have to see it under little lighting because no matter the figure in most cases they just tend to look better in white lighting and review areas.

Damn, when I saw the thumbnail I thought he would be MPM sized, I need a MPM replacement since it seems like I'll never get the real one (although I do expect an ROTF one soon enough)
His transformation kinda reminds me of the old 2009 human alliance bumblebee transformation
It’s a great figure in robot mode but damn when it’s in car mode there are so many panel lines and unless you have it all flush together it looks ugly
This will be awsome for a six inch action figure display so I might get it

I missed out on the Legendary Toys MPM repaint, so I probably would have bought this if it were MP scaled. Sadly, it doesn't scale with anything.

and one reason i never liked bumblebee figures, is because of a problem this one has in spades: sits nothing but hinges and ball joints in the transformation. nothing clicks, or has a specific spot it stops in. there are of course specific places they need to be, but since none of them have a stopping point or are able to ratchet or click into place, it all becomes so sloppy and clunky to transform.
Your problems could literally apply to 60% of all TF figures.

Idk where the hate is coming in. This is the best looking bee as per the cgi, primevsprime dont even do justice with the incomplete transformation on the lower rear wing. Ngl it scales the best with a 3.75 figures.
