    You are crazy guys. Having a cinematic sized string library WITH Legatos, + divided in sections, for 99 dollars (and working with kontakt player) that's just insane!
    I have Nucleus lite edition, and I'll totally buy this one, big thank you for what you are doing for beginners like me who can't afford expensive libraries. And for that, u can be sure I'll upgrade to full versions as soon as I can afford it.
    Rly big thank you guys
    Edit : I just saw that u have an intro price at 79 dollars
    At this point its just charity wtf

    The perfect string library for people on a budget. Got this and love this already. Fully customizeble, easy learning curve, simple perfect. Couldn't imagine I would be getting a top-sounding string library for under 100 Euros. Thanks a lot Audio Imperia!

    So tempting! Since I have your attention, I have a request.
    How about includingyour free libraries “Deconstruct” and “Epic Trailer Sounds” with Nucleus Lite? Those of us just getting into orchestra libraries are unlikely to have full Kontakt and could benefit from using them on the free Kontakt player that Nucleus Lite runs on.
    A suggestion anyway. I appreciate there could well be licensing issues/costs that prevent you from doing this.

    You could likely create an even more lite library that exclusively features the Performance Legato only, with both Close and Hall Mic options. If this approach were applied to all of your Legato libraries, it could attract many newcomers and position your offering as the best budget orchestral sample library on the market. The Performance Legato alone is versatile enough to manage numerous tasks.

    Can we get that articulation bank for the full areia version? I really wish to have an essential bank like areia LE has. Having tremolos on advance articulation is a hassel as it is more common than say marcato.

    Hey, beautiful library! but I have some questions
    First, do the sounds of the strings differ from nucleus apart from having more patches?
    and second, can I upgrade in the future to nucleus from Areia lite?
    I just like this library better because of the focus on the strings, but I want in the future to upgrade to nucleus, because of the different sounds (strings are the most important to me so nucleus lite didn't really fit my needs)

  • @EZLAV
    @EZLAV Před 3 lety +3

    Purchased Nucleus Lite Edition before (which I'm happy with) and just purchased Areia Lite Edition, mainly for its legato articulation. The samples are good, however, I'm struggling to get the legato strings sound right.
    There is a noticeable volume "bump" when a note is played, making the legato transitions very unnatural with random and uncontrolled volume increase or decrease especially on long/sustained notes.
    Spent hours tweaking the "Dynamics" control and the automation in my DAW (even tried uninstalling and re-installing Areia), but nothing helps. The "Legato Smooth" control didn't help either.
    Too bad, I was expecting for a smooth legato as shown in this video.
    Fortunately, the other articulations work fine, but I believe there is something to be improved (or fixed if I dare say) with Areia's legato strings.

    • @elzurixmusic
      @elzurixmusic Před 3 lety

      I'm curious, are you still experiencing that? because I'm thinking about buying that and I want to make sure the legatos are good enough to be worth it more than nucleus lite let's say, I do care mostly about strings which is why I'm thinking to get it but if the sound is the same in nucleus and the legatos are not worth it, maybe it's better to get nucleus and upgrade to the full one someday

      @@elzurixmusic Thanks for your comment.
      Fortunately, it seems like the problem has been solved. (Not sure about it, but probably thanks to an update?)
      As far as I researched, it seems that the same problem occured on other products from Audio Imperia, including Nucleus (full version) and Jeager.
      As for Nucleus, I only own the Lite version and cannot advise you further - if the full version is worth it and if the legato is better than Areia Lite.
      However, Areia Lite has multiple articulations and it's a good deal if you are on a budget, especially if you only need a strings library (and not woodwinds, brass, etc. as with the Full version of Nucleus).
      Hope this helps!

    A little confused on what's going on starting at about 6:18. Some long hold single notes being showed on the virtual keyboard but clearly a lot more is going on there soundwise.

      Looks like they're using a number of patches and switching between them as the track is playing.

      Hi Mike, if you look in the top left section of the user interface you'll see the patches are changing from violins, to violas, cellos, etc. I mention it just before that timestamp that in the following mockup I'll showcase all the legato patches playing together :)

    You made a lite edition? Goodness me (the big Brass lite is going to be spectacular for tight budgets too at this rate!) Ive been eying the Aeria strings was considering that for purchase in far future. What i didnt expect was this goid news to pop outta nowhere! I love good strings!
    (I noticed the modern patches have the yellow indicator while classic complete loading just fine. Is kontakt in need of a bugfix, because I bought a kontakt instrument through someone else and it only liads as I play, are u guys having the same problem too?)

  • @JoshuaChehov
    @JoshuaChehov Před 3 lety +2

    They don’t sound bad, good legatos and quite a lot for just 99$ but the samples feel too over processed and yes I know that’s mostly because of modern mix but even on classical mix it doesn’t sound right (this applies to other audio imperia libraries too)
