I love this game in VR- it is a shame not more people are buying into VR. I wish Sony would actually promote how amazing VR can be.
I would have liked it more if I didn’t absolutely suck……….I had fun with the campaign but I can’t compete with anyone online and I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong
@@bobbysmalarz6638 my game improved after I bought the Fanatec DD Pro wheel- I am not a pro, but I completed all the menus and always complete the weekly challenges. I don’t play online that much.
Are you using a wheel? That would help. Also using nanial gears instead of auto if you aren’t already, other than that just a lot of practice, get to know the tracks with no assists on, I never aim to finish first but just improve each time.

Hey jammy, just a tip... If you feel like you are too close or too far from the steering wheel you can always adjust your position to exactly where you want it. All you have to do is either lean forward or back and hold the start button to reset the camera to that position.

I’ve been doing that for a while, just wish they’d give us an option to adjust it so I’m not having to awkwardly sit up in my seat before every race
I just got a VR this month I saved GT7 until I got the VR and I’m so glad I did! What an experience.

@@fx7ji You can't use the sense controllers unfortunately but you can use a standard ps5 controller if you don't have a wheel.
@@fx7ji just a heads up, it you use the controllers while in VR it gets very disorientating.
Really frustrating it still doesn't show the gap times in VR
I swear Sony updated their "reprojection" algorithm too cause when I played GT7 yesterday, the very noticeable car ghosting was almost completely gone. I had to really look close to see it and I probably would have thought it was completely gone except for the fact I was actively looking for it.
I've heard some other games have improved too, but for me personally, the only game I've ever even noticed reprojection was GT7. I'll need to play more to confirm it, but it really did seem to be much better than before.

I’m a late in the race, but finally got the PSVR2. GT 7 was already great, but playing this in VR is something you have to experience to appreciate. Game-Changer is an understatement 💪💪💪
the Audi is a bit of a beast, the Urus is surprisingly flexible... and the GT-One as one of the best VR interiors .. so a great update.

Recently bought the PSVR2 for primarily for Gran Turismo; my mind is blown. I will not be able to use a screen again for GT7.

I switched cosoles for the VR2 and have no regrets. Just dont game your life away☺️

Add a motion rig with traction loss, and those dirt tracks and rear wheel cars are just pure fun

you get 825,000 from 30 mins at le mans. this sim is fkn amazing in vr.

How do ypu get so many tracks, been playing for hours and still only 1 usa track
really?... as far as I remember a fair few are open from the start.
but generally, as you progress thru the career (cafe menus) you'll unlock more tracks (and track variations/layouts)
(bare in mind Jammys is lvl 42 , so has unlocked most of them... still a couple to go ... though probably just variations rather than actual new tracks)
Complete cafe challenges. You'll get a nice garage full of cars while you're completing them too.

I did a poll to see if anyone cared about third person views in VR for Gran Turismo but of course the Enthusiast went on and on about how third person driving is a disadvantage as well as immersion, breaking. I feel like it was already in the game, so why isn’t it in VR?
I love the game in VR but I don’t know if it’s only me but the graphics in vr is not crystal clear what most of the reviewers say
They're not in this game, there are many sharper games like Red Matter 1 & 2, RE8, Song in the Smoke etc
Hopefully it will be on PS5 Pro, they could maybe hit 90hz and get it looking more like the quality of the flat game but in VR. Still great though even as is.
Reviewers tend not to compare GT7 to say AMS2 or AC on PCVR. I guess if you only have a PSVR2 you don’t know what you’re missing but the clarity on the Quest3 with PC is in a different league. PSVR2 has the better colours and contrast but I’d rather have the clarity in my racing sims.
@@garytebbenham6843 Quest 3 PCVR is compressed which just bothers me greatly.
@@MadPropzBaller true as the signal is being encoded but I’ve found increasing the bitrate to say 800 and disabling dynamic bitrate via Oculus tools removes a lot of the artifacts if you’re connected via link cable.
