Zimaut animation I suggest making gojira’s beam more powerful and quicker charging like in the movie because it was weaker in the movie due to the EMP and parasitic powers of the M.U.T.O.

What I think I love most is how you've taken into account each monster's unique traits. It would've been so easy to just make them both big monsters that beat each other up, but you've shown far more than that.
Kong is more agile, quicker at thinking on his feet and goes for weak spots. Godzilla is slow but *powerful,* doesn't rush in and just takes the first few hits and then retaliates with an overwhelming assault. And I love how you've allowed these traits to interact with each other. Kong is quicker but still has trouble actually damaging Godzilla or make him stagger back, while Godzilla's attacks send Kong reeling back. Kong can adapt but eventually so does Godzilla, and when he does it's devastating.
The whole fight felt like Kong was the underdog, beating on this Lizard that just doesn't care how hurt he gets. Godzilla was not gonna give up until he was dead, he wouldn't stop going on the attack. Kong made a tactical retreat twice, getting the better of Godzilla but failing to escape him.
All these details were necessary to making this an absolute masterclass of an animated fight. And it would've been so easy to forego them. I'm so happy you took the time and made the effort to accomplish this and more that I haven't even touched on here.

Mannn. 4 years later and this absolutely topped GvK's fight scenes. It's not even a matter of who wins, I mean even *I* prefer Godzilla winning. But it's a matter of writing and making the fight entertaining! See, this fight was super entertaining because there was a shifting power dynamic. It was brutal, it was choreographed super well, and it is *UNDOUBTEDLY the greatest fight in the history of kaiju media, period* . You killed it bro. Hoping to see more kaiju stuff from you soon!

I love how in the end, in spite of losing this fight, Kong was only knocked out instead of dead. You can hear the beast breath as if to catch his breath after this bout. A great Kaiju was preserved to fight another day. Well done!
I dunnoe if anyone has commented on this, but I'm more impressed with your patience in doing all the water/wave splashing effects, is this some kind of personal challenge you put to yourself to have them fight in a very complicated setting/above water where every frame you have to compose all the wave and water surges properly?
cause its really remarkable as a 2D animation to have that level of detail on the water constantly with 2 massive subjects fighting.

Man I was gonna comment about it, the effort really shows. I can't imagine how difficult water effects must have been, same with all the details of the dust and rocks flying outwards and whatnot.

i have to say tho he did put up a better fight than i expected, and also did clearly injure LegendaryGoji quite a bit, creating a blind spot and i think breaking his arm too.

Truly an amazing fight and well done animation that made me think I was watching an old cartoon from Fox Kids in the mornings as a pup. Wow... 20+ odd years now. Anyway! Regardless of the outcome, you gave this fight a lot of attention to detail and made it impressive with how either of the two would logically fight the other. Excellent video animation to end 2017. Thank you for your hard work and hope to see more of your works soon in the turn of 2018.

Here are my questions and ideas I have
Did Kong wash up on Skull Island or something? I've always had this unique idea I came up with one day in class, but personally I'd love to see Kong fight a Female Muto, Godzilla comes onto the island and Kong still stands his ground even though he knows what Godzilla can do to him, but Godzilla sees the dead creature's body and realizes they're on the same side. Then we get Kong and Godzilla vs Destroyah or Ghidorah, a big bad like that. In the Monsterverse, it'd be better if we got our original KKVG battle and then in future movies we get a teamup. I'd love to see Kong fight Rodan too or something like that, whatever it is you make in the future is gonna be spectacular, like no lie my heart is still beating from how awesome this was. I'm blown away, major props to you Zimaut great job!!!

For real forget whoever unlike this. This was brutal and amazing and I feel a accurate Testament to what would happen if a 50-story alligator took on a 40-story 8 gorilla. You nailed it on the head. You nailed it on the head. Kong wouldn't be able to just beat on Godzilla it would hurt him because Godzilla is just tough I loved the bloody hands after he hit him a few times. I loved the power he could get in the tail whip. The characters looked like the characters that we watched. You know these characters well and your animation is amazing I have showed this video to probably a hundred people and made sure they liked it. You should do the fight choreographing for the actual movie. What I'm most impressed about is the strength difference. Everybody says, will be stronger on that scale. Forgetting totally that reptiles are stronger than primates. Wonderful job I could sit here and just say good job all day.

For those kong fanboys who start cursing against the video for making godzilla win, CHILL. This is a fanmade animation from a guy who is great at animating who is giving his opinion. He put a lot of effort for our enjoyment. Instead of swearing immaturely at the creator, acctually realize how well done the fight is

As a godzilla fanboy myself, I do think that in an actual fight, godzilla would win. But you dont see me shouting like a madman (no pun intended) about it. The fact that water resistance slowed down Kong's attacks prevented him from attacking at full force. This coupled with Godzillas better defenses, made it a one sided endurance test. Quite the smart move from Godzilla.

i imagine that Kong would be more agile, more intelligent, and probably have more pound for pound upper body strength; whereas Godzilla would be more resilient to physical damage, greater lower body strength, as well as having an effective long range ability.
should they come to blows, the location really is key, and i like how that was displayed from local to local in the animations, from usable tools for Kong, and the home field advantage Godzilla had in water. very cool.

Just came home from Godzilla: King of The Monsters & It is FUCKING MAGNIFICENT! I swear If the incoming Godzilla vs Kong next year is not as good as Godzilla - KOTM, or rather, the Fight between Godzilla & Kong is NOT AS EPIC & AWESOME AS this animation, I am DONE with Legendary Monster-Verse
P/S: When Godzilla steps on & looks down at Kong at 2:57, anyone subconsciously thought "What is a King, to a GOD?" =))))))))))

This truly is amazing. Impressive on so many levels. You managed to capture the essence of both behemoths. I am a little upset that the movie will now be a let down!! You nailed it! Equal in their strength and power but in water KONG hadn’t a chance. I love the growl at the very end... rematch? Thank you. Bravo
