Hi Kyle, you come across as a young impressionable and intelligent professional. However, with due respect, re your answer @ 9:05 "agent does not have an emotional.... etc", I must say that I never heard an Estate Agent making such a statement concerning "the buyer". We take it for granted that your loyalty & financia€ interest, ethics aside, would be towards your client/the vendor - the higher the price you sell the property for, the higher your commission. Although you need a buyer to close a sale, you are 'acting' for the vendor not the purchaser. Are we wrong in thinking so because it's a "too good to be true statement"?. Is Malta different to other countries?.🤔.

What a nice, humble and knowledgeable guy your guest Kyle is, God bless him (and how I luv the Maltese accent).... it's so nice to actually see 👀 a Maltese person on your channel.... you have too many foreigners on there especially when u do those interview type vids on the streets.... many of the ppl want a taste or a pre taste of Malta 🇲🇹 and that must include bonafied Maltese ppl including the youth.... we want to hear more from the actual Maltese ppl to get the proper Maltese flavour of the Island which are the heart and soul of that beautiful place.... it is good to have the opinion of foreigners from time to time, but there are foreigners everywhere all over the world 🌎 and we need to sample true, authentic Maltese people to get a better taste of the Islands 🏝 and it would also be nice to sample a bit of Gozo and the Maltese locals of Gozo also..... Do anyone know that the EU said that the selling of property to foreigners in certain areas of the EU and they were speaking about Malta, shall cause a price distortion in the local housing market, this means that the selling of property to foreigners EU citizens included is in violation of EU law because it violates the EU's Principle of Proportionality law which protect EU citizens living in difficult and extreme conditions.
I don't see his details to follow this real estate agent.. he really seems to be a good person to get Info and advice as we are in the steps of moving to malta in the upcoming years.. thx for this video alex!

If you're EU citizen and that you want to buy a principal residence the 5 years don't apply it wasn't mentioned... The secondary residence yes but not the principal just to clarify.

If you pay 15% tax you can not purchase apartment. If you will, they will make you pay 35%. Cheaper to rent.
