When Poole wants to remain important in a game, he takes the riskiest plays and shots, but sometimes he forgets that his teammates can help him win the game. It's frustrating to see him consistently turn over the ball and take crucial shots, when we expect the veterans (Curry, Thompson) to take them.

I think it's not about whether we want to see the vets take the shots, it's about the shots he takes, and the decisions he makes in the clutch that can be frustrating to watch

Kelenna Azubuike - played with the Dubs 2007-2010. Calls the games on our local Bay Area network here, I’d take him over ESPN 100 times out of 100. He’s funny, classy and absolutely expert - loves the game. Why he hasn’t been offered a job with a national network is beyond me but we’re so glad to have him!

To start I agree that steph should have been thrown out, but the whole situation is actually kindof interesting. There is no rule about being ejected when you throw something (besides the basketball itself) as long as it doesn't hit someone. It probably does deserve a tech if not an ejection, but there is no rule about an automatic ejection for throwing your mouthpiece. I don't think the outcome should change either way, but it's interesting to know

A beautifully designed and executed last play! Three Dubs all moved to the right side of the court while Jordan "acted" like he was just standing there directing traffic but not really involved in the play. Meanwhile, this left the left side of the court wide open with no defenders on that side to mess with the inbound pass. The Poole stopped sleeping and bolted towards the basket.
Poole is the best of both worlds, he can do the best and worst things you could imagine in the final minutes

The problem with the warriors is the lack of defense and turnover. Poole needs to learn when to chuck it and when to play within Kerr’s system.

People forget how young Poole is because his talented couple years in mistakes but he’s great player and learns
He didnt learn, made the same mistakes over n over. His decision making needs to improve and that wont come through practices and training, but with the willingness to listen to coaches and seeking his peers advice.
He never learns, he does the same always, every game is the same 0 IQ plays by Poole or dumb dribble turnovers, we've lost at least 4 games because of Poole turnovers in clutch situations

Intense from start to finish and loved the rush of competitiveness in the final moments. Both teams definitely brought the heat to each other which added to the climax. Poole, stop turning over the ball when it’s crunch time please, thank you.
Poole is a very good player. BUT, he tries too hard to impress people (GSW Fans & team mates). He tries too hard to be like Steph. He needs to learn to settle down & avoid commiting turnovers.
JP is an idiot. Kerr must take him out when GSW got 2:30 minutes left in the game. He got some anxiety issue that makes him sloppy, reckless and dumb in those remaining minutes in several past games. If you got the lead and took an offensive rebound play with the clock, don't sell the ball, nor the game.
