  • Gene Bader, Terry Henson and Troy West make their living the old fashion way, and by old fashion, we mean 1880’s old fashion. These three craftsmen make, by hand, saddles for working cowboys, professional rodeo cowboys and the occasional president of the United States.

I finally decided to make a saddle.
I've been seriously working with leather since 1984.
    Thank you for these videos.

I have a custom made Gene Bader rope saddle and love it. I have had it over twenty-years and still looks and feels great.

@@FlyinShoesFilms the Mexican vaquero has not been recognized in american history ; he has been discriminated and erased from history and this is not right, have a nice day.

@Johnny White I have a few questions for you. What is the difference between an american cowboy and a mexican vaquero? Is the cowboy a true american creation like the sport of baseball?
I will reply again when you answer me
