This is late but so comforting. I've just switched half way through a-levels to do BTEC Animal management with applied science and knowing people have gone on to do veterinary medicine without a levels comforts me so much.

So so helpful subscribed , please do more videos like this! I’m really stuck for animal based uni decisions and this gave me such a better insight. Looking forward to more talks and vlogs 💕

Guys this was very very useful. Although I’m only in year nine (13 yrs old). I am hoping to start work experience next year (after the pandemic), do my GCSEs and A levels and then hopefully get into Nottingham vet school to become a vet Surgeon.

This video is so helpful. I'm currently in my 2nd year of A levels and have only taken Biology not Biology and Chemistry (I am studying Biology English Politics and have Maths in Context) Can I still qualify for the preliminary course without a vocational subject?

hey Olivia, thank you for watching the video, as I am not part of the admissions team I do not know, but on their website: www.nottingham.ac.uk/ugstudy/course/Veterinary-Medicine-and-Surgery-BVM+BVS+with+BVMedSci they have a statement on placements during the coronavirus pandemic. It would also be worth contacting the Nottingham tutorial office for more information.
Best of luck with applications! Take care
