I’m happy Vince allowed AJ to appear on the show even though it wasn’t in person. AJ without a doubt is the biggest homegrown star TNA/Impact has EVER created.
they did let mickie james appear back in wwe in 2022 womens royal rumble so im sure it was no issue for them to have aj styles appear in impact
They also let Chris Jericho to appear on titantron celebrating john cena 20th anniversary

AJ is easily the greatest homegrown star in TNA/Impact history. He was there all the way back during those NWA days and stayed there until his talent outgrew the company and really became a worldwide superstar.
The threeway with Joe and Daniels is required watching for anyone who wants to get into Pro Wrestling, you could tell just how proud he is of that match. I've been watching wrestling for a long time and Its one of the five best matches I've seen in the last 40 years.
He should’ve stuck it out in WWE. AJ Styles on TNA all those years is like if Ichiro Suzuki never came to the MLB.
@@Filminformer1984 I think he got to WWE at the perfect time. He had already built a name for himself without them and him joining was the cherry on top for his career. Rather than coming before and hardly being taken seriously or even used outside of a dying cruiserweight division back in the mid-2000's.
He's one of a handful of guys who started as a cruiserweight, but it's believable enough in his offensive arsenal to be mixing it up with bigger guys and people buying him as more than just an underdog.
@@Filminformer1984 Hardly, All the best workers in the business were outside WWE at that time and VKM BS policies would have not let him develop like he did AJ played his hand perfectly. Super over all around the world in his prime then took the final big pay day.
@@jimjaspers3050 Mid to Late 2000s Unbreakable 2005 is the PPV that had the triple threat match between Styles, Daniels and Sam Joe. The Danielson McGuiness matches in RoH at about the same time are also masterclasses.

Amazing really. People often forget that TNA was the only alternative on mainstream for a long long time. The fact they are still going after 20 years is hugely impressive. Some great wrestlers have worked in this company.

They reminded me of Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan. With Tenay being the serious knowledgeable announcer and Don West being the character. I would listen to Don West go absolutely bonkers during X division matches to the point where I would ask myself Jesus is he okay? The chemistry between them reminded me a lot of Gorilla and Heenan. Now that Don West is gone it makes me miss those days when Mike Tenay and Don West would call matches they were and will forever be the voices of TNA.
Those two made TNA fun to watch as an alternative for me. RIP Don west

This (20th Anniversary) PPV last year felt like a love letter to TNA
Honestly seeing the Briscoes Brothers at IMPACT was a very nice moment they were one of the best tag teams in the world of pro-wrestling and R.I.P. to Jay Briscoe 🖤🖤🖤🖤🙏🙏🙏🙏 The best moment of last year's Slammiversary was seeing Aj Styles a really emotional and beautiful moment it would be nice to see him again to wrestle at IMPACT he is one of my favorites I love him ❤️❤️❤️ ❤️❤️

AJ Styles did a stint in WWE and WCW but he was the heart of TNA. When AJ Styles is done wrestling WWE will put him in the Hall of Fame and so will the impact Hall of Fame

I always enjoyed tna. Even when it was in the beginning and the six sided ring. A lot of people didn’t care for it but enjoying the difference of the companies at the time it was amazing. Now that there is more companies in the main stream you can’t deny that tna had a helping hand in helping other companies be successful in a way.

Ron "The Truth" Killings/R - Truth should have most definitely be apart of TNA's 20th anniversary. I mean, he was the first ever African American world champion for NWA/TNA.
He was a dominant TNA World Champion from 2011-2012.
Fast forward and literally to got AJ Styles surprise appearance.

I appreciate that they wanted to show the respect to the fans and sort of do a pulling back of the curtain. It meant a lot to them, and they made sure everyone understood how sincere and genuine this was.

Wrestling is living the best age i've seen in my life. Wrestlers are finally treated as human beings, they're more free to be themselves, all of this shows how beatiful a business could be. Open the forbidden doors, let fans enjoy wrestling not caring about which corporation is behind the show. I love wwe, i love aew and i love impact!

TNA will forever be my favorite pro-wrestling promotion. I still shout TNA whenever I'm watching impact wrestling.
A lot of people throughout the 20 plus years of Impact Wrestling/TNA have written it off and dismissed it. Some people even have wanted it to fail and go out of business. Despite all the hate and criticism and insults though. Impact Wrestling has hung on and despite what some of the haters say the impact pardon the pun that it left on the wrestling industry in its 20 years is undeniable. Whether it be the X division or the Knockouts division or their tag team division. They changed wrestling for the better. If not for TNA/Impact Wrestling I probably would have given up on wrestling altogether in the early 2000’s. I first started watching Impact Wrestling around 2006 and I have been a fan ever since. There was some times when I wasn’t watching but I never stopped loving it or supporting it.
I've heard recently that this is where the Women's Revolution really took place, years before WWE tried to claim it

This company is so charming and mad and close to the fans. It might be smaller time these days, but it's got something special that WWE lacks and AEW doesn't seem to have either.
This was so awesome. Great seeing the legends of impact Wrestling.
It is great to see legends who were made TNA wrestling in 20th years and I hope wrestling will continue for another 20th year 😊❤
