    Takeaways:
    • Approach your work deliberately
Pick the areas you are weak in and hone in on it for rapid growth
    • Effort - Approach
It is imperative to have the right amounts of both effort and approach.
    • Optimal, Goal-Aligned Approach
Pick your goals and do research on the most optimal, aligned approach for your goals.

Super helpful. Here's the check list
Some key takeaways from the video for the audience:
    1. Create a distraction-free environment.
    2. Input is not always equal to Output
    3. Have the right effort and approach.
    4. Deliberate Note-taking and Practice. (Don't take notes on everything you learn, just take on what you are unfamiliar and that will go on and finally you reduce the notes you write. The same thing with practice, focus on your weakness)
    5. Invest in Performance (To work well, you need to be well. Invest in quality sleep, nutritional food, hydration, and exercise)
    6. By making it easy to perform a task, you will do it more.

Guys, this is just a warning. This dude took it in the 2020 year, where a lot of students didn't even cover the 2 most difficult topics (in my opinion) of infinite series and polar/parametric/vector equations. Just let that sink in because in BC, those are probably the hardest topics that play a pretty strong role in the exam. Just be sure to account for those 2 units (which in my opinion are really difficult compared to rest of the class) so the way his preparation went would be definitely far more different from what an in-person exam would be like for most people. We not only have more questions, but also more difficult and more complex equations in both the MCQ and FRQ. Just let that be known please and don't think you can self study a literal calculus II class in 5 days time, it doesn't just work like that.

Not sure if it’s just my school, but BC is soooo much harder. I’m not even saying AB is easy but no class has caused me as much emotional anguish as BC calc. Our teacher forced us to rush through the material so much we finished the entire class in the first two marking periods and have been doing nothing but review tests since. These tests aren’t too bad, but when we were learning new things it was HELL. 2nd marking period of this year was the first time I got a C in any of my classes in high school and I’m a senior. What also sucks is we’re technically only supposed to have class 3/5 days in the schedule, but our teacher went over new material even on blended days, and if you had another class those days you just had to rewatch the recorded class for notes but you couldn’t ask questions or anything. I just hope I can get at least a 3 or 4 on the AP test so I don’t have to take this class again in college.

I did a similar thing with algebra 2/trig, but I wasn’t healthy about it. Although I got reasonable sleep, I wasn’t spending time with family or friends, exercising, eating well, or doing much of anything else. That’s how I spent my winter break, and although I was also able to learn calculus in a similar way and take multivariable calculus the following school year, I sometimes wish I had more healthy learning habits. But I truly believe that you don’t have to be naturally gifted to learn things independently. Setting up a good plan and “studying smart” is the key, and creating a balance between learning and being social/relaxing is just as important (so you don’t get burnt out).

I used to be in an IEP where I took a couple of Special Ed classes (in math and English).
Algebra 1 was seperated into multiple parts in different school years, and I was taking a 2nd portion of algebra alongside with basically eighth grade English my sophomore year. I felt a lot of things and suffered a lot of depression because of it as I felt like an outcast in my school. I spoke with my counselor about wanting to get out of these classes, and I luckily got placed in regular classes for English and math (normal algebra 1 & freshman English sophomore year). I took an English course in the summer so that I could be at the same English level as my grade, and I was able to take the corresponding English class as a junior. This year, I went for AP Literature, and it has honestly been not bad! I am in algebra 2 right now, and I decided to sign up for the BC exam this February with all the research I did. I am going in without any precalculus background, and my class is pretty much done with algebra, and we are at the home stretch of the trig material. I am studying ahead of my class. I know it sounds stupid for my circumstances, but this is something I really want to accomplish for myself knowing where I started in my freshman year. I plan to use this video just to only learn the material, and then give myself at least a month to master everything. I'll give updates! This video has given me more confidence :), so thank you!

Ohh I took a level chemistry and I got an A+ with just 2 months of studying (2 hours per day, so you could technically do it in less than 10 days if you dedicated most of your day to it). A levels are harder than AP so this should be very helpful.
His step one applies to all different topics of learning, you have to figure out what you are going to learn about and see what's the best approach you have to take.
Get a good resource/s of information and take notes. I'd recommend going through the book twice or trice because it's more knowledge based than concept based compared to calculus. Take notes on all information that you think needs memorization and make spider diagrams (these are soo good to memorize stuff such as compound colours, it's basically a more efficient form of flashcards imo)
What you want to focus most on is practicing the exam style questions. It'll help you apply your information quickly and find your weak spots. When you know your weak spots, you can review them over in your resource and do a Google search or two about that topic.
As you go on you will get a better idea of what to do next, then it's just a grind to perfect your approach to writing the exams.
      Good luck!
