Opinions On Demon Changes?(I HATE THEM)

This is sort of a rant video or just me complaining, depending on how you look at it lol. Im very mad about the demon changes but I guess im just gonna have to deal with it, atleast for now, maybe just do a new build with it, even tho its kinda awful now imo. Let me know your opinions in the comments.

This is sad, and 100% agree, running demon form was really fun and I really hate that now the only way to run warlock effectively and without being some sort of god at parrying is to cast and run

yes exactly. there were so many different ways to play warlock and it feels like they're trying to force everyone to use the torture mastery build and i hate that so much

I've been trying to make Demon form build work but everyone always run away and move speed kits are so popular these days. Although plate fighter in solos can work as long as you have a ranged option.
For demon form the 3% drain hurts the most. I've been thinking about Magic Healing + Health Pots and popping one heal before turning to demon, then healing through throwing torches at enemies while the active ability is on in case they try to run away. I've also noticed you can heal through dark bolts and the skill. The 3% drain might still be too much even with the health pots so might have to try torture mastery hybrid demon form.
Lastly I wished they fixed the Claws in the demon form, atm they are just like normal punches. It would be amazing if you could do some damage with them.

Thank god I’m not the only one so dejected about these demon nerfs…….I feel your pain exactly, my friend.
Even the old barehanded demon is better than what we have now 😢

@@ExpertOspray Oh well, knowing IM they're probably gonna end up buffing it again sometime in the future.
Honestly, I can agree with most of the nerfs, but the halved dark shards, the removal of your base scaling increase, and ESPECIALLY the doubled health drain make the payoffs of using the demon form not worth the downsides.....
It is SUPPOSED to be powerful for how massive of a commitment it is to use. If you want to use it effectively, you HAVE to not only give up phantomize, Dark reflection, and ALL dark spells, but you ALSO have to get ten kills before you transform, AND make sure you make your play immediately as to not waste health.
and now it sucks lol

i already have played every “meta” for every class since the 1st or 2nd playtest when i first started playing. demon is just so different from everything and thats why i like it so much
