May I also write these feelings? It was Vayalar Rama Varma who told us musically that it was Man who Created Religions and those Religions in turn created Gods and those Men, Religions and Gods in turn divided not only this earth and its Soil but also our minds. It is common sense what we need to understand that religions and God Almighties (If at all they are up there) have no relation between them!.
A man or woman becomes part of a religion just because of the stupidity of his or her parents. A baby becomes a christian by undergoing a church ceremony within one month of his birth. He would never have heard of Bible or Jesus Christ and this applies to all religions and their followers.
Let us hope that a truly civilized Government will ban this freedom of the parents and make it part of the constitution so that children will be taught love, kindness, politeness, compassion and good manners towards others and let them then decide which faith they should follow after they have acquired discretion and discrimination. The present system is nothing short of utter foolishness

Great delivery as usual. However, I would like to point out an apparently incorrect usage of a word several times. 'Penultimate' means last but one and not last unlike mentioned several times during the delivery.
He used the word penultimate with the correct sense. He apparently knows the meaning of that very well. Mostly he used the word penultimate for the reasons. Penultimate reason. That's exactly what it is. The last but one reason. Second last reason.

In addition to my criticism of Ravichandran’s premise of ‘what caused God” (look at the thread below), here are my replies to two more of his arguments:
The paradox of omnipotence: Can god create a rock so big that he can’t lift it!
This question can be asked in many different ways, for example, “can god die?” If he dies then he ceases to be god, if he can’t die then it means he can’t do everything? And so on. The fundamental issue here is that you guys are posing two mutually exclusive concepts and asking if God can do both?
When we say Omnipotence it means the ability to do all that you want to do. If god had wanted to do such mutually exclusive things, he wouldn’t have created the Rule of Logic related to contradictions. The fact that he created this Rule indicates that he does not intent to do such contradictory things. Probably in another universe where God has created another set of logic rules, probably he might create a rock that he can’t lift and yet not compromise on his godly qualities… How is that? Well, we will never be able to wrap our heads around it, because we are so entrenched in this logical rule that two mutually exclusive things can’t exist together. Hope that was not confusing!
Secondly, Ravichandran seems to give the attribute of the uncaused cause to the universe! In other words he says that the universe has been existing infinitely. And he takes refuge behind the law of thermodynamics - ‘matter can never be created nor be destroyed, but can only be changed from one form to another’. An infinitely existing universe is an impossibility.
Anything that is infinite cannot undergo change. But we know that our universe has been changing continuously. Take for example an element X that changes to Y. The moment something changes, it means that it has been traversing through time. It was X in the past and Y in the present - meaning time. So, let’s assume that X became Y at time T. Think of how much time must have preceded the moment T? Infinite, right? Which means that X must have remained in its state for an infinite amount of time. Infinite means never ending. If that’s the case, how can X ever arrive at moment T… because it should exist as X infinitely… unendingly. Therefore, it will never change to Y.
Let me give an example to illustrate my point. Imagine I am at a cinema ticket counter to buy a ticket. But I realize that I forgot to take my wallet. The price of the ticket is Rs 100. So I turn to the man behind me and ask him for the money. He doesn’t have it and he in turn asks the man behind him… and so on until infinity. IF this is the case, there will never arrive a moment, when I would be able to buy the ticket… because infinity will never end.

ബുദ്ധിശക്തിയുള്ള ഒരു ‘ആദികാരണം’ ഉണ്ടെന്നു വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നത്‌ ശാസ്‌ത്രബുദ്ധിക്ക് നിരക്കാത്തതാണെന്ന് ആദരണീയരായ പല ശാസ്‌ത്രജ്ഞന്മാരും കരുതുന്നില്ല. പ്രപഞ്ചവും പ്രപഞ്ചനിയമങ്ങളും ജീവനുമൊക്കെ അബദ്ധത്തിൽ ഉളവായതാണെന്ന വാദമാണ്‌ വാസ്‌തവത്തിൽ ബുദ്ധിക്കു നിരക്കാത്തത്‌. ഏതൊരു രൂപകൽപ്പനയ്‌ക്കും ഒരു രൂപകൽപ്പിതാവ്‌ വേണം, അത് സങ്കീർണമാണെങ്കിൽ വിശേഷിച്ചും.
എങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞാലും ഈ പൊട്ടന്മാർക്ക് മനസ്സിലാവില്ല..

@@fanarfanny1266 ഞാൻ എട്ടുവരെ മദ്രസ്സയിൽ പോയി സഹോദരാ. ഇസ്‌ലാമിനെ പറ്റി കൂടുതൽ പഠിക്കണം എന്ന ആഗ്രഹം കൊണ്ട് ഹാഫിള്(ഖുർആൻ മനപ്പാഠം ആക്കുന്ന ആൾ) ആകാൻ പോയി. പൂർത്തിയാക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല. ഹദീസ് പഠിക്കാൻ ബുഖാരി വായിച്ചു വ്യാഖ്യാനം അടക്കം. കുറെ സംശയങ്ങൾ തോന്നി. എന്റെ ഗുരുനാഥന്മാരായ ഉസ്താദ്മാരുടെ അടുത്ത് ചെന്നു കുറെയൊക്കെ നീങ്ങി. പക്ഷെ ഒരുപാട് സംശയങ്ങൾ ബാക്കിയായി ഖുർആനിലും ഹദീസിലും. അവസാനം ഞാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. എന്റെ അല്ലാഹു ഇങ്ങനെ അല്ല. ഹദീസും ഖുർആനും ആരൊക്കെയോ തിരുത്തി, എന്നിട്ട് തിരുത്തപ്പെടില്ല എന്ന് അവർ തന്നെ എഴുതി വച്ചു, എന്തൊക്കെ തെറ്റാണെങ്കിലും ""എന്റെ"" അല്ലാഹു ശരിയാണ് എന്ന് എന്റെ മാസ്‌തിഷ്കം കരുതി. പിന്നീട് മറ്റു മതങ്ങളെ പറ്റി പഠിച്ചു. അവസാനം നിരീശ്വരവാദികളുടെ വാദങ്ങളും കേൾക്കാൻ ചെന്നു. അവിടെ വച്ചു സയൻസ് അറിയാനുള്ള ആഗ്രഹം മനസ്സിൽ കൂടി. എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹത്തായ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ പറ്റി മനുഷ്യൻ എത്രത്തോളം മനസ്സിലാക്കി എന്ന് അറിയാനും, നിരീശ്വരവാദികൾ തെറ്റിദ്ധരിപ്പിക്കുകയാണെന്ന് സ്വയം ബോധ്യപ്പെടുത്താനും. പക്ഷെ അവസാനം എന്റെ മനസ്സിലെ ദൈവം മരിക്കാൻ സയൻസ് ഇടയാക്കി. പരുഷന് മാത്രം , ഭോഗിക്കാൻ സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ത്രീകളെ കൊടുത്ത ദൈവത്തെ തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു കൊണ്ട് ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോന്നു. ആദ്യം വിശ്വാസം വിട്ടപ്പോൾ മനസ്സിൽ കനൽ ആയിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പൊ ഒരുപാട് സമാധാനം ഉണ്ട്. ദൈവത്തിനു ഇത്രയും കാലം എനിക്കത് തരാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.
