- Today in War Thunder we formed the biggest bomber formation to carry out a huge bomber raid, the biggest I've seen in the game filmed with the Vadact viewers during our custom WarThunder event!

he-111 would be a better choice i think or any other german bomber. the condor was ,as far as i know, primarly used as long-range reconnaissance and anti-shipping/maritime patrol bomber aircraft.
and it was first build as passenger plane, all military needs (gunner stations, bomb bays,...) came later.
True the huricanes had an edge over these high altitude bombers
i think the me 264 would be best, i has better gunner stations and more bombs(or the he 177)

Looks like something that came out of a movie. Along with the bomber earlier where engines on either side of the plane were on fire and then the wing snaps as it falls.
I think it would be better if the players cannot see the name tag of the enemy cuz as you saw it was a bit annoying for you to be targeted like nothing else. And also it's a bit more of fun and realistic to spot the enemy. Keep on your great content man🤝❤️

To bad you didnt use the bomber like the He111 that were the ones that did the bombing over London (the Blitz) and i dont know why the He111 doesnt have the X-Gerat witch is the night vision they German bombers had to use for night raids. But the Ju88 and the Do17s and 217s and He111 also the Bf110 were used to do the raids over London so that would of been sweet to see that type and that many bombers in the City map as if they were bombing London and they would fo been great. Thn having fighters like the tempest,typhoon defiant,avro ansons, Blenheims, P-51 cause a few were given to the RAF.
The tempest,typhoon and p51 were used after the BoB and the defiant and anson arent ingame
you should do ground realistic mode next time so no name tags are shown causing you not to get targeted

Ah yes in theory the Luftwaffe could have done that on the Eastern Front but without long range fighter escort they were as good as easy prey for Soviet fighters.

You should have a group of Me 262 trying to intercept a formation of B-29 escorted by P-51
*B-17/B-24. B-29s were not used in the European Theater as far as I can remember. They were only used in the Pacific Theater against the Japanese.

In there we can see how in this game normally can survive bombers with only cannon defending weaponry
A hurricane or early spitfires wet dream...
and now imagine they als J out at the same time or staggered so it is roughtly the same location (front to back) so it looks like there is a massive paratrooper drop-off going on.
