  • Part 2 of our Gravediggers special. Colzy was eyeing up this glass in the cabinet behind the bar, so Ciaran being the legend that he is, took it out, cleaned it up and served us a Pint of the black stuff!

Colzy is the kind of friend everyone wants. A quiet lad but good craic when it counts and seems like he always has your back.

Ooooh, I want one of those glasses. Hope Guinness release a nice 6pk (or) 8pk with glass as a special offer.

I have one of those glasses which I use regularly. It definitely makes the Guinness taste better (probably).

In the 70's Guinness and ales were often sold in "Jugs" in the UK. Skol lager had promotional pairs of glasses with "SK" and "OL" printed on them. My mate Mike and his partner Olivia Lawson contacted the brewers to ask for a pair of glasses, claiming to be Steve Kent and Olivia Lawson. The brewery invited them in for the day, and after fessing up they were given a brewery tour, meal and pair of glasses. My dad had a Guinness jug. When we cleared the house, my wife an Offally girl, gave it away to the charity shop rather than keep it.
