- The Best of the Bryan & Vinny Show is all about making new stars! This week Paul Fontaine fills in for Vinny to review NXT and Dynamite. Watch as Paul listens to Bryan blow a gasket again regarding the booking of Je’Van Evans and creating new stars… a lesson both NXT and AEW could learn from. Of course, Granny stops by with her usual wrestling report but this week she brought along some old folks jokes that left Vinny perplexed. Also, Bryan weighs in on last week’s record low Dynamite rating… all that plus much for so check it out!

Daniel Garcia has beaten a bunch of nobodies on TV.
Now he somehow gets a championship match vs Will AND gets to wrestle MJF in Wembley? 😂😂 No chance Tony is foolish enough to make that Wembley match official.
No no. He's there to lose to Ospraey and MJF to lead to an MJF vs Ospreay match. Daniel Garcia isn't getting a push, he getting two weeks of "highlighting" so he can be the guy they both beat on the way to Wembley. That's always been the plan. Think about it. Swerve beats Will this weekend, then Will gets an easy win over Garcia. Its just a recovery match for Will

Because he likes the guy, you would've done the same for your favourite wrestler if he's getting buried.

Its a triggering topic for him. But also he's not wrong. Jevon could be a star at 24 years old and have two decades of stardom if they pushed him right. AEW has primarily only booked MJF well (until recently) because he was their young star. If you got a young star, push them early so by the time they are 30 they are a bonefide money maker. This is what they should have done with Bron a couple of years back and just now they are getting to it

@@Asushlo I think he could have been doing the exact same thing on Raw two years ago and been already a super star by now. So yeah they didn't push him as quickly as they should because "he was young" same as Jevon. At least they are using Bron well now, but they wasted Tyler Bate's 20s in NXT
Craig’s the only guy talking sense. Who cares what the lead-in show is? You either stand or fall on the strength of your product, end of story.
No one can convince me that Daniel Garcia is a main event star or even close. Same with Yuta and Guevara and countless others they push.

I like how they’re so dependent on lead ins who aren’t even there to watch wrestling, they just left the room with their TV on
"Why is it so hard to make new stars?" while using a WWE photo as the thumbnail is definitely a choice, considering over the last few months they've elevated or launched Priest, Gable, Solo, Jacob Fatu, Stratton, Breakker, etc.

Especially in bronnakd Tiffany's case both are pushed hard and likely going over at mitb

Bron breaker Tiffany Stratton melo trick just to name a few while wwe is on fire with established stars. Wwe is doing just fine. Aew is cold and lost. They push the wrong ppl and tony stinks at booking and doesn't understand how to get talent over.
So AEW has made zero stars and lost the war in your head. Got it.

Bron, Carmello, Bo Dallas, Jacob Fatu, GoD, Tiffany, Jade, Lyra, etc. They’re all presented as stars. AEW are the ones who can’t make stars. Every time someone gets momentum, the booking kills them.
Not to mention Damian Priest, Gunther, LA Knight, Chad Gable, Ilja, Ludwig Kaiser, these are all wrestlers that WWE has successfully elevated in the last 1-2 years.

PAC shluld return to WWE for god's sake. The potential he had with AEW at the start, I know his career was stopped by covid but still now, he would be much better used in WWE or even NXT
It would be interesting to see him in their mid card. But also like he's never gonna be world champ at either company so his time has past

Its not hard to make stars. Its so obvious who has the potential to become a star. However I see AEW focus on talent who don’t have potential. Daniel Garcia over Takeshita or Fletcher? Really?
AEW Dynamite: Because broadcast television is in such dire straights that the weekly ratings never really mattered and TNT would have to get canned altogether for this show to get cancelled.
What id like to know is why it took until 2007 for the number 30 entrant of the rumble to win.

AEW hasn't made a star in 5-years it's just established Ex-WWE stars AEW'S product has gone downhill ever since they aired the all-in footage it's all been downhill after that NXT has been a good show as of late the TNA partnership has worked out for them better than when AEW tried doing it in 4-years ago NXT has been a lot better than dynamite shawn michaels is getting praised while tony khan is getting criticized out the ass dynamite deserves the low rating that's what tony khan gets for basically letting the elite run dynamite and infect it with their terrible segments at this point tony khan will never learn AEW has gone downhill ever since they embarrassingly aired the all-in footage with punk and jack perry all we want as a fanbase is for dynamite to be better but at this rate it's impossible.
