    Do you Know if Finland University requires someone to pass Science Subjects before they accept you for a Nursing program ?
    In short, do they require (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths from High School..)😊

      You are advised to notice that the study programs in Health Care you're most likely thinking about are degree programs in the Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS). They are higher education institutions but different from the academic more science oriented Universities, which are an other more traditional category of institutions in higher education. The generic admission criterions are different between Universities and Universities of Applied Sciences. This was the reason why it was relevant to mention here in this context.
      You can read about the admission eligibility from for instance studyinfo website. You can find the generic rules but also each study program entry admission specific rules from there.

    Is it possible to change a course once you are there in Finland

    • @just42tube
      @just42tube Před rokem

      Within a study program there are several modules consisting of courses. Some of them are mandatory some are optional depending on what you try to specialize.
      Moving from a study program within the same field and between educational institutions is possible, but there are rules and processes to follow. It's not a subjective right to make such changes. But there are guidelines and process to apply for it.

      Don't worry about your gender or sex. You're welcome in any case to health care, nursing. There are males in this profession. I think they are appreciated also in workplaces since a healthy mix does offer some benefits. It can be easier to handle some difficult customers/ patients if the working teems include males and females.

    Hi Tife : My question is concerning citizenship so I read on a site that you get citizenship through naturalization, 4 years of residence permit and 2 years of permanent residency , my question is does this 4 years of residence permit include the years of studying ?
    Please reply to the best of your knowledge

      Please don't use the word "free" so freely, when it is not actual free of cost or fees.

      @just42tube Před rokem +1

      International students need to have health insurance to get residence permit for studies in Finland if they are outside the EU/EEA.
      Hospitals in Finland have their own price lists for foreign births. HUS's private hospital Hyksin Oy offers foreign mothers coming to Finland to give birth a birth package, the price of which is 7,500 euros for vaginal births and 9,500 euros for planned cesarean births.

      I thought with your A-permit, you can actually give birth at low cost as a permanent/citizen too?
