Wow, my Unlock Funky Kong time is so outdated that it’s not even in your picture of the rankings. Minor correction though: beating beginner staff ghosts does not necessarily unlock expert staff ghosts. If you just barely beat the beginner time you probably won’t unlock it (though if you’re that slow you’re probably not trying to speedrun this category)
Great to see another video about Unlock Funky Kong%. I only ended up trying with the Wario's Gold Mine glitch for about an hour, and only got one run past it.
Just a couple extra things: The clips save ~4 seconds each if done well. The faster entry saves around 10 seconds over the slowest entry.
Mario Circuit glitch won't be implemented ever because the Flame Runner makes the run slower and more difficult.
The cookie is possible with other vehicles, it's just more difficult.
You only need to make 2/3 pipe bounce because you can do respawn glitch lap 3 on Wario's Gold Mine.
I'll probably play this over the next few days, and I'll stream them in call too.
Edit: After looking at my run, I think I could get my time down to a 4:4x with a lot of grinding, but a sub 5 is the main goal for now.

Adding warios gold mine to a run wouldn’t be as bad as you think. You only have to get the pipe bounce twice in a row since ur not going for the course wr just getting the glitch 3 times. Then doing coconut mall then mushroom gorge then gv2 would be the easiest to minimize wasting time with resets

As of now I think the best route would be MG glitch, MC glitch, CM glitch, and WGM glitch.
