    I just started running in mid-September of 2021 after about 60 lb of weight loss. Attempted running previously but always had injuries to slow me down. But now with my weight down I've been able to run consistently. Started off with a weekly mileage of about 5 mi and now I'm up to about 18 mi per week! My main goals for 2022 are to reduce my 5K time to sub 25 minutes, 750 mi for the year, and run my first 10K hopefully in under an hour. I have been loving watching your videos since I started running, they have really helped and pushed me to continue running better and faster. Continue the amazing work you do and good luck with your upcoming marathon!

    Running my first marathon this year.
    I have been following you before you broke your ankle and find your tips incredibly useful, especially the garmen screen setup that I probably would have never known any other way.
    I find your journey through your recovery and mental health very inspiring and a reminder that it happens to all of us.
    Keep up your great videos!

    Wore my pair for the first time tonight… intervals on the track. They are super comfortable but do not give you that extra boost you seem to feel with the vaporfly’s or other carbon fiber plate shoe. I think they will be a great training shoe for interval workout, and when it comes to racing slide on the vapors for that extra fast race feeling.

  • @ChristianRunsNY
    @ChristianRunsNY Před 2 lety +10

    I felt exactly the same. The biggest downside was simply it didn't compete with their own Next%. Otherwise it is a neat and comfortable shoe that can do a lot for less than the other supershoes.

I am currently trying to get back to some running form after knee surgery last year, and it's great to draw motivation from your persistence during the recent injuries you have been through. My main goal this year is to get my Parkrun time back under 19 minutes (PB 18:44). About to start a Strava 10k plan to get some more structure into my training. These shoes would be perfect to help me with my training and goals, and are already in the right size!! Bonus!!

    Hi Ben, most looking forward to getting my young daughters into the park runs this year, as they’ve asked to come along with me! I’m doing a few marathons this year so the easy pace, and mental lift having them with me will be great for my training!

    Great review Ben. Along with chasing that ever elusive 3 hour marathon I think tbr most exciting thing this year is running my first ultra. Just a flat 50k but it's a real local out and back race.

    Hi Ben , really looking forward after following your training plan to running the Manchester Marathon with my Dad who is 57 years young! He has helped motivate and support me through life and now it’s my turn to help him through his next challenge.

    Great video. I find it so interesting how the development of shoes have transformed running and racing times. I'm looking forward to racing this year and experimenting In some super fast shoes, all my PBS have been set in the 'old' ones and it will be interesting to see if I can get close to them.
