    I have a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS in Fwd with the 3.5L V6 it has so much torque steer but I love the power! It’s also a very reliable vehicle. I’ve had it since new.

      All your complaints would be fixed with the AWD , i have the 2010 AWD limited and has great traction

    Those 0-60 times are very good considering the road surface. Definitely can run low 7’s. Great job!

    I have a 2012 GLS w/3.5 AWD and only 42,000 miles. Same color too but with gray cloth interior. I just put a set of Michelin Defenders on and they grip really well, even on wet pavement.

      You have a Honda ridge line too? Or is it a passport judging by your picture?

    I had a 2010 with the 3.5 and front wheel drive and you weren't kidding about the torque steer. I learned very quickly that you just didn't floor that thing from a stop. You instead had to give it about half to 2/3 throttle and then slowly lean into the remaining pedal travel as your speed increased. If you stomped on it from a stop all you'd get would be uncontrollable torque steer but that was the least of the car's problems. I ditched it after little over a year because it refused to go more than a few weeks at a time without a shop visit for something major.

    I have same 2010 3.5 v6 awd. It does 0-60 between 7-8 seconds. I am using it for daily now. About driving experience I agree with you. And they are prety reliable.

    I like this Hyundai V6 over all the BMW straight 6’s that are in the older X5 bmw because this Hyundai V6 is faster and more powerful like the 2005 Honda pilot V6 you drove too. A lot of Toyota. Honda, and Hyundai… ect.. V6’s that are N/A 3.5 or 3.0 are pretty powerful.

    They are very Mitsubishi based engines I think. They used to use engines directly from Mitsubishi for years.

    Lol tell me about it. Even the 2.7 will torque steer you off the road if you hammer down without thinking. I like that it's static relative to throttle position though. If you hold your steering to roughly the same spot you'll find the new center. Just don't change the throttle position, and it should stay the same until the car shifts.
    That being said mine is an 07 with a 2.7, and I've got over 300,000 miles on the clock.

    They are Good but Good for its time sadly the parts don't last long and that much rpm on the crdi nah man the design is so good looking but the engine kinda failed (v6 rocks but not other ones)

    back when you used a dragy, did it give you inaccurate slope readings if the connection wasn’t great ? i got -11% slope on a road that was less than -2% and most of my runs are invalid because of this

    • @DMCarReviews
      @DMCarReviews  Před 7 měsíci

      Yeah, Dragy slope was off most of the time...
