Funny to hear that someone also wasn’t blown away by Beach read. I did not connect with that couple at all. Happy place was my first Emily Henry book and was a 5 star for me. Than i read Beach read and i was underwhelmed. Gave it a 3,5 on good reads if i remember correctly. Funny story i gave a 4,75. Gave a Happy place vibe indeed! So nice to be in Emily’s world again. She is a comfort read.

I'm similar with Beach Read - I read it and thought it was good but it didn't shake me like it does other folks, haha. And a lot of people don't like People We Meet on Vacation, but that's the first Emily Henry book I read and I really enjoyed it!
