Something I've noticed about LGIO is that unlike a lot of content creators, he doesn't meme or bass-boost things like explosions, but instead is just calm. The stoicism he has while doing chaotic actions (i.e. blowing up cities, tearing down entire forests) make it funny.

The sound distortion thing you refer to is a typical "an extra subversion in case my original joke is not accepted, so I can pretend I knew that all along and thus made fun of my own joke" kind of thing. A typical modern day insecurity of the younger generation that grow up in a harsh peer pressure internet environment.

I like how the game makes it literally so easy to move supplies from one point to the next, with multiple options from conveyor belts to automatic trucks to drones, and Josh still has to find a way to make it extremely difficult for everyone involved.

The funniest part is this is how a lot of real trains actually work. You can put them all in the front (double/triple heading) or you can do a push-pull. There are two engine cars, one at the front and one at the rear, and the one in rear simply pushes in reverse when the train is moving forward and forward to stop or reverse. This also lets the train be driven from both sides.

I read somewhere that apparently the game devs actually use copies of Josh's saves in order to find ways to better optimize the game. So he basically builds crazy game breaking builds and the devs then look and see what horrible things he has done and find ways to make sure their game is optimized to handle such builds.
I kinda wanna see a drawing of Josh’s Satisfactory world that updates with each video.
Something I noticed when playing is that, even if the truck's path goes wrong at some point and it falls of or something like that, if you take distance and after a while look the truck again it managed to magically get back in action somehow, so Josh's first automation plan with trucks might had actually worked

Hes not traumatizing them. They actually used his Savegame alot to improve the Game in general like the performance upgrade after he build the tornado. I mean there is a very good reason why the developers helped him keep his Savegame after the release of the 1.0 version (end of beta development phase) while everyone else got all Savegames deleted. The developers analyize their game based on what bottlenecks Josh discovers while bringing this game to its absolute limits and improve the Game based on the Data.

He once said during a stream that his gameplay to footage ratio is like 10 hours to 10 seconds. This video is almost 1200 hours of gameplay by that that metric.

I want to see another go at the bouncing trucks system. It turns out that if you are running a recorded route, the truck will teleport to any missed waypoints after a short delay. You could totally do this an automate it.

When game testers test games I think they're like "what would josh do"
This isn't an incorrect statement. What Josh is basically doing is unstructured destructive playtesting, which is used to push game systems and performance to the limit to establish boundaries for those systems. It's how devs determine how many physics objects and ragdoll corpses they can allow before making the game despawn them or seeing how many objects a player can place before the framerate reaches unacceptably low rates.
I highly doubt my comment a couple months ago with a list of questions (including if we could ping pong ourselves and other things off of the launch pads) influenced this at all but I'm incredibly happy for that one to be partially answered!!
Still want to know how explosives/throwable items interact or if they just stick to the launch pad. Thanks as always for your hard work and for sharing with us all! Love revisiting that silver spaghetti.
