Hahahah this is so funny.

"There just aren't submissions done on the feet"

👏👏👏👏
I came here prepared for this comment and I'm STILL traumatized.
DaveKraft400 facts
if chael says submissions cant be done from the feet , then it cant be done
DaveKraft400 this is a hilarious comment and I laughed at it but technically clinched up against the cage or using the cage as leverage is different from standing in the middle of the octagon. Either way it’s funny lol
The correct time to post fan questions is whenever Uncle Chael wants
McGregor vs Alvarez is a perfect example of someone who has perfected a craft and enters flow state... no second guessing or overthinking simple allowing years of muscle/mind memory to take over.. honoured to have watched it
if the conor that fought eddie shows up cerrone is going to sleep. I hope to see him return to form
Didn’t really get the chance to judge being as he smashed him to bits in forty seconds
Possibly his best performance ever
Then what was conor/khabib?
@@mosluggo1 Conor being off so long. Conor having turmoil in his life. Conor having not having to fight for money. Conor vs Eddie was different from Conor vs khabib.
People saying Eddie was a paper champ, but he beat Pettis, FINISHED RDA for the belt and FINISHED Justin Gaethje, Eddie is definitely real
championship material
And he's still winning today.
@@creativeperson5858 hes not fighting today
Bellator championship material but not UFC. Not even close TBH. He won the belt the same way Bisping did, with a lucky punch. Khabib , Conor , and Ferguson would all murder him. And so would Pettis and RDA in a rematch. He's a sloppy scrapper with a decent double leg and he got smoked in a B level league by a nobody earlier this year proving he's middle of the road.
@@Whobilation are you stupid
Justin being his only good win, RDA was more of a lucky shot, but I'll'still give him that fight. Other than those 2 wins, in the UFC, he lost to Cowboy in his Debut, beat both Pettis and Gil via Split decision, Pettis being on the decline since losing the belt, Gil's only win in the UFC was over Sanchez. Edward lost to Conor and Dustin. His UFC run was pretty bad actually. and his split decision wins he got over Pettis and Gil were more due to control than anything
Lol, that Conor-Eddie fight was like a storybook ending. You couldn't write a better script than what he did that night. Eddie knew after the first round that he got completely outclassed.
Razear that fight was lame Conor was only confident because we was fighting a midget. I didn’t see that confidence against Khabib.
@@ThejeffJr8 khabib is like an inch taller...wtf you talking about
@@stevenaleksander4129 just dknt respond to khabib fans, watch if he loses against tony they will never speak about khabib again.
@@dragonsoul48 I'm starting to see your point. I dont see why people have an inability to be objective when they like/dont like a fighter. They seem to just parrot everyone else.

Clearly the best performance in MMA history was every round of Uncle Chael's entire undefeated career.
Maybe the most exciting was breaking Jon Jones toe.
Chael/Jon...now there's a fight no one ever needs or wants to see ever again.
You mean how Chael TKO'd Jon Jones via toe crunch.
I always said that Conors stoppage of Eddie was one of the best masterclass performances I've ever seen. Near flawless with several knockdowns , one within a minute of the opening round, and taking next to 0 damage.

👍
when Conor said in the post fight interview that Eddie shouldn't have been in there with him he was right, it was a flawless victory against a guy all the fighters were saying would beat him
I thought Eddie would be too gritty, too much cardio, too tough, too much wrestling. I couldn't believe he completely dominated and destroyed Eddie like he was some guy off the street who had never trained.

It’s interesting that Chael claims he can ‘live with a loss better than most guys’...how would he know, he’s never lost.
American English With Grant he does everything better than everyone right ?
Been seeing these jokes forever but I've never asked. Does he call himself undefeated and we continue the joke?
@@lorinlankins3004 Yeah back when he fought Anderson Silva he claimed he had 'never lost a round' and it's kind of been an ongoing joke since then. If you listen to the closing theme songs in his videos it'll say he 'never lost a round, undefeated, undisputed'.

He reminded me of prime Anderson Silva that night.

@@JPWoodward14 What dipshit?
@Irving Ceron he looked like a rat when he faced khabib
@@zizouace4890 his defense was fine but his strategy was shit, he engaged in the grappling exchanges instead of avoiding them, his movement was shit, his striking was shit, could be because he was tired by the point it came to any striking exchanges but even when he walked out, it looked like he drank a few shots before it. I remember watching that fight live with my homie. just when he walked out I was like "I dont like this, man. is he drunk or something?" when they faced off with the ref in the middle I was like "stop checking yourself on the big screen for fucks sake, your opponent is infront of you" then the fight starts and im like "okay ...okay... okay.. wait what? what are you doing? oh khabib gets the takedown, yup this is it"
Finally someone agrees with me that was the most impressive mma performance ever
●TRUST ME I GOT 30 SUBSCRIBERS ● eddie got a cut under his eye and the fight was stopped...
●TRUST ME I GOT 30 SUBSCRIBERS ● lol you are so ignorant. Please check again who Eddie is, what people he fought and what is his background, then you will understand that Eddie is not the most interesting fighter to watch, but he brings serious skillset to the table. But please, do not take the shine out of Conor’s performance just because you don’t like him. And in general please do not be ignorant to the people you don’t like. It makes no point while trying to argue with other people.. It’s the same thing to say that Usein Bolt is not a good athlete. Wether we like it or not, he was/still is?/ the fastest man alive
Wise Rise that and TJ dillasnakes performance against renan in the first fight are my two favourite
Cody beating Cruz was the most impressive
@●TRUST ME I GOT 30 SUBSCRIBERS ● 28-4 across 3 organizations whos beaten the likes of Anthony Pettis, Dos Anjos, Gaethje etc... got absolutely annihilated. A guy whos been knockeddown 3 times in a fight and still won. That was by far the greatest MMA performance weve seen.
What's funny is that Eddie legit thought Conor was going to be a walk in the park for him
"you're the easiest fight, that made the most money" and he called him a gimme fight.
Creative person that was trash talk. No fighter at the highest level thinks any fight will be a walk in the park
@@samjames8690 I would normally agree. But I recall several guys saying similar things about McGregor. I have the feeling the fighters all laugh or laughed at McGregor and thought he was genuinely an easy fight
James todd - yeah you could be right. But specifically Eddie I don’t think did, you could tell from the intensity as they touched gloves that Eddie was all there
11lion 11 it should have been. Look how easy Khabib made it look.
Only an American Gangster could wear a half collar jacket and still manage to pull it off
Without sarcasm, Chael's performance in the first Anderson Silva fight was sublime and deserves to be mentioned. Rounds 1 through 4 were perfect and he even dropped the spider with a wicked overhand.
I would've thought the Silva fight was the one he'd be thinking about to this day. Let's be honest, chael's life would be so different if he didn't get caught in that triangle
It was one of those bell to bell 100% perfect performances, until the 5th and it was 99%. I hope chael knows that that fight hurt people watching it. Even people who weren't cheering for him going in, couldn't deny it was upsetting to see. It's probably the only fight a person has had, that wasn't a W, that cemented them as an all time great in a lot of people's minds. It was heartbreaking. I wouldn't wish that pain on anyone. He was at the finish line.

Mr. Chael "Never Scared - Bone Crusher" Sonnen
Adesanya is 100% legit but if he beats Yoel that’s it man
Yoel can wrestle fuk him
Look at the size difference between Adesanya and Romero. Why would it be a surprise or legitimise him to beat Romero, who has already lost to 2 strikers in Costa & Whittaker. It’s. good match up
He needs to move up to Lhw where a person of his size needs to be to legitimise his career
That’s why I’m saying this because Yoel has better chance to beat israel than any other middleweight I believe
@Isak Dahl he needs to at least get izzy thinking about the take down
It was such a clean dismantling of a tough opponent.
McGregor doesn't get enough credit for that. Yes Alvarez probably wasn't the toughest possible opponent at LW, but he had a solid resume and never was seriously KOd save for that one fight against a Welterweight. Mc dismantled him completely with precise, swift punches. It was beautiful.
dude he got all the credit in the world for it.

Chael is the man. Great responses.
The greatest ever performance was TJ vs Barao 1

one of my favourite finishes that one love the way he just drops him. never get tired of seeing it
Great question! Intimidating is a real part of fighting. Also the bully can be frightened by someone whom is not afraid. My favorite part was when Chael speaks to motivation. Trying to bully some guys will turn them into a fighter. Some guys can go the other way of course. I made a couple guys that were bigger than me realize I was not afraid. They then showed that they were afraid. I but a dude one time and he literally stopped fighting, went to pick his clothes up off the train tracks in the subway. He started off trying to impose his will. When he saw the resistance, he retreated. So sometimes power can change intent.
Chael’s performance against anderson silva in the first fight was one of the best as well
Agree. Plus Silva Vs Griffin. Silva Vs Franklin.

Usman vs. Woodley was the most dominant UFC title fight performance of all time. Literally a flawless performance. I’m not even an Usman fan but I don’t think anything can top that. 25 minutes of dominance

Chael vs silva the first fight is one of the most entertaining fights for me
Chael you’re looking stylish! Keep it up, bruv!
Sometimes fighters just have one of those nights where everything is on point and flawless. Mcgregor vs Alvarez is an example. Garbrandt vs Cruz is another example. Both weren’t the same ever again though, I don’t think it’s able to keep that up for much more than one night.
Garbrandt/Cruz had me wondering if Cody was gonna regret his showboating but he pulled it off. Conor/Alvarez on the other hand looked just dominant for Conor. Like every few seconds we saw Eddie on the ground. Rose almost had a performance like that her last fight but got slammed. If Rose could've kept it going I would say hers was the best with the she moved ultra fluid and fast. That being said Conors win over Eddie was probably best performance. My top performance would be Gsp vs Serra 2 but that was like mma master vs man on the street so that doesn't count. Maybe Holloway/Ortega as well but I can't remember how close the first couple rounds were.
not really. Cody did good but he lost 2/5 rounds.
@@ASLackey22 I agree 100%. GSP Vs Serra 2 was just pure skill. It erased all doubt about who was the best of the two and made it clear that the first fight was a fluke for Serra. The Holloway vs Ortega fight was brutal though. Ortega did land some big shots now and then, but Max was waaaay too much too early. The Conor vs Eddie fight is the most dominant performance i've ever seen though. And you can't call it a fluke like when Conor knocked out Aldo. Just pure dominance for 2 straight rounds against a killer in Alvarez.
@@knuckle-sandwichmma681 I'd have to watch it back. The thing i do remember though, is the rounds Cody won were extremely dominant with knockdowns right and left and insane head movement. The rounds Cruz may have won must've been very close rounds.
