Petzl RocTrip 2014

The second country on the 2014 Petzl RocTrip, Bulgaria reveals a land of contrasts. Whether it was the climbing or the weather, the base camp in Vratsa delivered it all. RocTrippers who came looking for adventure received even more than they bargained for. As the second base camp in Bulgaria, the stopover in Karlukovo will remain deeply engraved in everyone's memory: first, by the power and the strangeness of the area; second, by the lightning fast visit of the "king" himself, Chris Sharma; and third by the good vibes, camaraderie, and overall enthusiasm.

Would have been nice to have a standard version, even if it was letterboxed. Not a fan of the vertical format video, though. There is a reason why horizontal video is what it is - it's compositionally harmonious with our natural field of vision.

If you're using Windows on a desktop, first make the video fullscreen, then press Ctrl + Alt + left arrow to rotate the desktop by 90 degrees. Enjoy!
Press Ctrl + Alt + up arrow when you're done to rotate the desktop back.

normally you can turn the screen in your graphic settings. or press ctrl-alt-right key (at least for win7)

Les avis sont partagés sur la verticalité, perso j'adore. un petit ctrl+alt+"flèche gauche" pour visionner, ctrl+alt+"flèche haut" pour retour à la normale... c'est pas non plus super compliqué... sauf quand tu sais pas ^^

Vraiment bonne idée le format portrait, cela mets vraiment en valeur les personnes, l'escalade et les paysages!
Si seulement CZcams pouvait le supporter, il y aurait moins de raleurs ;)

Clearly meant for mobile use, useless on a desktop. and laptop I don't think guys really thought about the headphone jack or power outlet. Good for phones tho. Cool concept. Needs to be a little more thought out for next time tho (Maybe a 'desktop mode' for those who can't rotate their devices)
