Xehanort seems to have memories of our player character at the start of Dark Road. I wonder if whenever he reaches Quadratum (assuming he does, since he knows of it's existence) he somehow acts as one half of the equation to bring us back, but in the Quadratum world. Dunno. So many possibilities. We'll need Dark Road to at least help finish the circle of influence/importance Xehanort has had in all of this, and in relation to his relevance with Quadratum.
I feel like Darkness can move the chain of memories of the people they contact. The Dark Chirithy of the Player and Ansem, Seeker of Darkness. Both Darkness sending Signals to each other.
Well, whether or not your theory proves to be correct, you are probably the best KH game theorist I've seen. Always enjoy hearing your explanations and theories because they honestly make the most sense and wrap the story up in a far more digestible format that I can understand.
Now that we have seen this update, i guess the reason Sora is so “special” and has such a strong a heart is because he allowed Ventus’s damaged heart to join his for so many years.
something I noticed, up till now (well in the past time) Luxu had never gone against the role he was given, but here he says he finally understands what the MoM wanted him to do. Till now he had seen all foretellers go against their role and how their decisions were gonna change the future the book had foretold but only their actions weren't enough. Now he knew he too had to go "against" his master's will (well in fact I think that's what the MoM wanted all along). Luxu planting the seed of light for the future is probably the most important thing needed to actually change the fate the book of profecies had told. When I hear "seed of light for the future" I can only think of Kairi's grandmother, and how she pretty much is the reason Kairi could still believe in Sora and help him change the war's fate. Her grandma also seems to know too much to be just a regular citizen, she knows too much about the light and darkness clash from the past so to me she must be the person Luxu sent. Luxu also calls this person "the true dandelion" which only leads me to 2 people. Sterlitzia was the original 5th dandelion, ergo the true one, but also Ava was the one to form the dandelions and with her going against the role the Master gave her and trying to change the future I really think Luxu was talking about her. It would also make sense that she "didn't make it" to the keyblade graveyard with Luxu and the others since... she died of old age
So you think master ava is kairis grandmother 🤔 interesting theory. I just wonder what waypoint there is for her to arrive in radiant garden with a body, even if she didn't have her memories
@@abidance6444 Luxu can act as the waypoint for pretty much everyone, he knows and has memories of all of them since he has been watching. The only person he might not have memories of is the player, hence why and how the player might end up in quadratum as some people are theorizing. Now for Kairi's grandmother to be the person sent by Luxu then she must have arrived earlier than that so she would grow up and have a family. Can't explain how or when this happened and how she regained her memories if she was from the past but if she is Ava I doubt she'd lose her memories for that long
Yozora is just Japanese for “night sky”, a clear reference to Noctis from XV who’s name also means night sky. As well as a parallel to Sora whose name just means sky in Japanese.

Oh... now THAT is just creepy; imagine getting an antique sword that has what you thought was a decorative eye and *displaying* it on the wall in your house, not realising it’s (somewhat) *alive* and the person that used to have that eye *can see* whatever you do from another universe/timeline or time period because apparently that’s how you do D.I.Y clairvoyance. It’s like getting a hidden security camera installed *without realising* it *IS* a hidden security camera. @Christian Longo Daybreak town isn't destroyed or disappears - it becomes Scala as we see in the MX underwater fight & in ReMind. Could very easily be Brain that does that with the MD as the last survivor just like what Aqua did with the LoD. Idk though lol
I think Ephemer and the player character are the ones who will stay behind as it would not only explain Ephemer's presence in KH3 as a sort of spirit, but the Union X story was building up the player character and Ephermer's friendship so it would actually be a perfect ending to their story by going out together while Lauriam, Skuld, Brain, Elrena, and Ventus escape to the future since it ties together so well. As for the girl in the white coat I think she is the entity of Light who has taken the form of Striletzia in order to combat the Darkness character who is also an entity representing Darkness. I also think the Master of Masters role is to represent the balance and is not on the side of Light or darkness that would explain his neutrality and deceit as well as his relationship with Darkness since his only seems to care about maintaining balance between light and darkness and meddeling with Time not really caring who gets hurt in the process.
Xehanort was a pretty bad dude but SPOILERS The Master of Masters dooming both real and digital world(s) to ensure his passage into the future is pretty damn metal lol(and shows he's isn't some omnipotent untouchable being who can do whatever he wants, he needs to make plans and move pieces just like Xehanort did.)
Yeah. I think he’s doing this because he lost someone he was close to and he blames darkness for it. Grief can cause people to act irrationally and the MoM probably justified his actions (removing darkness permanently [which is a very bad idea] by defeating it) because he believes it’s the only solution to prevent more tragedy. I think he needs therapy personally. Lots and lots of it because his idea is a very bad one.

If he literally doomed worlds to destruction and set forth ever single thing that happened in the Kingdom Hearts series just because he was a little salty he lost someone, that'd ruin the story. If that happened, literally the whole plot of KH's happened because some nameless character died off screen and MoM just couldn't handle it.
Maybe young Xehanort abused the power of waking attempting to save his friends. He ended up in Quadratum just like Sora. Then, in Quadratum he met the Player who was sent there by an arc. Somehow young Xehanort returned and thus explaining why he knows about Quadratum and the Player. This is why I still believe Luxord, which we saw with Yozora in the car is the Player with all his cards, games & gambling (gacha). Brought back to join the Org XIII because Xehanort knows him from Quadratum.
BBS V2 = A misson game like Days where you get to choose between Aqua, Terra, Ven, Kairi and later Marluxia and maybe Larxene to raid the realm of darkness in pursuit of Sora. :)
I wonder if the Master was being honest when he said "who knows? Anyone could end up using them." If he was, then that means that he wasn't able to observe what was happening in the Data world because Luxu was never there for his Keyblade to see it all play out. That would then mean that he (and possibly the Master) was waiting in the real world for them to return. The next update should be very interesting.
I don't even have the words to describe how excited I am for where the story is going. I hate that I haven't been able to get a copy of Melody of Memories. I'm this close to just spoil myself. By the way Damo, thank you very much for all the work explaining this story over the years. You've definitely help me make sense of a couple of key points that were driving me nuts. Hopefully, when It's all done, you feel compelled to make one final video with the whole story. I know a lot of players, including me, would be eternally grateful.

That theory you've made about our character is very interesting, it would make that boss fight with Yozora in Kingdom Hearts 3: ReMind where it comes with two different outcomes if you either lose or win all make sense, it would also make sense that the only memory that we've attained is the last page of the Book of Prophecies, which at this point is about the Keyblade War in Kingdom Hearts 3, the one Xehanort started and that we were able to help Sora prevent that prediction from coming true and change the future outcome, all those near defeat moments that Sora went through, we were able to save him from those and helped him keep on going. And here's another theory about our character which might be important. What if that heart that we've become would eventually become whole with a body again and leave that world to help the heroes of the future of the series we are now since we've seen the characters from the X saga coming back together in the modern future.
Okay something, I need answered. For the five that got sent. So they get sent they lose their body. So they went from a to b. But what are their medium and who's the person that remembers them? Someone has to be first. The evil fairy was first and she was sent to yensid castle and remembered by the fairies. I guess the first one to go was X from the reports. BIG TEXT AHEAD: I have a theory. There are 7 pods to the future. Maleficent took 1; we know that Ventus, Laurian and Elrena used them to and there is probably Skuld (Subject X) also used 1. So thus far we know the usage of 5 pods remaining just 2. But in KH3 we are told that Demyx and Luxord are from the age of fairy tales so it must be them. How those 2 got there? Well there is a theory that Luxord is the player from KHUX, a possible name for its real person is 'Ludor', latin for 'I Play', that fits both the gambler personality of Luxord and the nature of us 'Players'. Maybe he was reformed into the future in the Quadratum realm connecting him to Yozora and, most importantly, to MoM. It may be that like MoM, the player 'Ludor' is also from Quadatum, thats why we are special. So Demyx, the only way that I can think of him going to the future is if he is the figure in the white cloack that Luxu sends to the future, but why and how he is the 'true dandelion is beyond me. But there is a speculation that Demys is somehow connected to MoM, but I trully dont know
@@LucasLima-zs9tm He talks about "the ancient KB legacy that slumbers within you" which isn't the same. If Luxord, for example, was really from the past, then it doesn't make sense that Xigbar/Luxu doesn't recognize him and asks "who are you"
...Ventus just is not allowed to have memories, huh? He forgot Strelitzia, got amnesia while with Xehanort, got DOUBLE amnesia when he got torn apart, and then he missed 10 years of his life.
Could sora not be the player 🤔 i mean, he arrived on destiny island and we control him or someone connected to him in most games. Also nomura always likes to point out how ordinary and non-special sora is.... just like us players right 👀
Kingdom hearts is very esoteric, a lot of spiritual truths hidden in the story. Also it seems recently the story is showing the biblical stories. "We are many but we are one." Is similar to legion who were many demons possessing one body. The X blade is similar for the keys to heaven symbolism too. The book of prophecies is similar to the Bible. Along with the over all story and theme is speaking truths usually encountered and experienced during a spiritual awakening. It's brilliant!
A huge high-five to you for this comment! I've also noticed how many things in KH are references to Christianity: light and darkness as good and evil (which is very common, anyway), the X-blade's design, and how UX decided to use the concept of guilt (and in Japanese, they literally use the character for "sin" - 罪 - as well)...
Imagine if the dialogue scenes were animated in the same way as the console games are. it would definitly be har to run on mobile but it would be super cool
my current theory is that yozora is the true dandelion because what is a fictional world but the ultimate data world for the heart to travel to, and the MoM was the one giving him trials and telling him to save sora
I believe that we are looking too much into the player. The player most likely will live out the rest of their lives in Daybreak town with Brain. As we see in KH3, there are a bunch of key blades from the people who played KHx. Even though Nomura is a meta-man I doubt he would go that far. The player has always been a bystander and played a minor role in the events of KHx. My guess is Larium, Ephemer, Skuld, Ven, Elrena, and Strelitzia will be the ones to use the rest of the arcs. Yozora is most likely one of the Dandelion leaders. My guess is that it will be Ephemer. Just like Sora forced his image onto Kairi in MoM, I’m positive the same thing will happen to Sora if he wasn’t “saved” by Yozora. We currently don’t understand how Ephemer was able to help Sora, but he helped him change the timeline. If this is true he would likely end up in the Final World as well due to committing the taboo of nature and hear me out, I believe who we’ve been calling “Stella”is actually Strelitzia. Because Strelitzia is only a heart she can travel through time via her cloak and the memories of Luxu. She probably took the form of Stella due to her lack of a body and the failure of travel. I am not completely sure how Luxord and Demyx play into this though. My guess is that they’re beings from Quadratum. Demyx matches the vibe of Prompto perfectly and Luxord matches Ignis pretty well. How they got to the real world is beyond me. It probably has to do with this wildcard Luxord had and it was likely given to him by the MoM. I am 99% sure the MoM is pulling strings within Quadratum as well. I’m iffy on the Yozora theory tbh
We know the seventh person already. The MoM. He says he’ll be traveling to the future in a pod when talking to the Darkness. The eye is his medium, and Luxu has the memories of him for his body to be reformed. Seems to me that the Player stays behind with the other Dabdelions.
Dude, the interaction between Luxu and Darkeness was after the Union leader fight with Darkness. Because darkness said “all key blade wielders left the world when they started the convo. That body wrapped in white is definitely Ven. He got bodied by Darkness and that’s how he lost his memories in BBS
Darkness said "There shouldn't be any Keyblade Masters left in this world." Masters, aka the foretellers. Look at the room, Maleficent's pod has left and that literally just happened before Lauriam found the rest of the Union Leaders and started this whole fight. You aren't the only one mixing this up, I've seen tons of people thinking it could be Ven but this scene is happening in tandem with the Union Leaders fight

When people still don't understand that the book of prophecies is literally Jiminy's journal. That's his waypoint. With what being said, I'm sure everyone can figure out who the master of masters is and ventus' true role
Well, Jimmy Journal does have things in it that Jimmy never wrote down. For example, the guy in the brown robe (Ansem, Seeker of Darkness) opening Riku's way off the destroyed Destiny Islands.
So I was browsing TV Tropes and under the Nightmare Fuel page someone said you could see Daybreak Town's Clock Tower in the underwater segment of Xehanort's boss fight. Considering how he warps Caelum like how Castle Oblivion was made you might just be onto something there.
Yup, it's there! I suppose I shouldn't take this knowledge for granted because it's definitely something you can not notice while playing KH3. The gears and mechanisms of the clock have split and seem to be falling apart, but are completely frozen in time during the fight. I do wonder very much if the end result of our time in the tower and some of the union leaders escaping will be creating that time freezing event
I know I'm super late with this, but with Epherma connecting with Sora in KH3, maybe the player character from Cross doesn't actually take an ark but is only brought back as a heart through Epherma's memories of them and the "vessel" is their actual Keyblade sitting in the Graveyard? It's not a fully fleshed out idea but the fact that the keys thrown at the darkness by Sora all contain actual users says to me that Sora's heart is strong enough to push them through with Epherma's combined memories. So the arks will house Skuld, Ven, Lauriam, Epherma, and Elerna.
It just came to me now. Xehanorth could be "the other version of player, the one that belongs to the darkness". That would explain why he has memories of player on Destiny Islands and the weird sentence by Chirity. This would also mean that we not only will have to deal with somebodies, nobodies, hearltess version of someone, data version and dream worlds. It will add another "x" to the equation (LOL) that we never thought of. I always thought that the name "unversed" was quite odd. But if they chose to call these alternative versions of somebodies "unversed" it would come full circle in my opinion. Aaaaand this could explain the "black pieces" of the chess game representing the MoM and the Dandelions.They could now appear as their inverted forms belonging to darkness. Maybe this idea could even expand to explain why Yoozora "doesn't really look like that". I don't think that comment from Chirity is made for nothing to be honest.
The idea of Yozora being connected to the player character of Union X makes me wonder about the possibility of the only other Quadratum character we’ve met (barring possibly Luxord), the Star, being connected to Strelitzia. Not sure if that holds any weight but it’s an interesting thought.
Thats the funny thing about messing with/following prophecies... They almost *_never_* go exactly as you plan or thought they would go, and neither do they stay that way. Mass misinterpretations, symbolisms drawn and spotted, metaphoricals made, presumptions thought of, instinctive considerations, gospels preached, paths taken, fates denoted... They're all natural and easily used to either guess or incorrectly answer what a prophecy says would happen. And even when it does go one direction you expect, it can easily just come back around and turn contradictive to its very sayings, those who had been a part of it saying that "yes it did happen, but that didn't mean the end, then and there" And that's happened quite a lot in media, books and other forms of entertainment that contained prophecies: Harry Potter, Star Wars (big time for the Jedi Order who massively misinterpreted and failed to understand what "balance" can mean) they all have multiple interpretations and a great deal of speculations, and rarely do they ever stick the landing so to speak.
also ventus was an (unknowing) imposter taking strelitzias place meaning strelitzia was the "true dandelion" the only other theories ive seen that interest me are ava or kairi (kind of wild but i get where people are coming from) i really feel like it should be one of them
If Ven does become the x-blade (with what I am assuming is a pre-form of Vanitas), then he/they would be an object. Then they don't necessarily need a pod. The x-blade (pieces?) could be put in a pod with someone else. Or else the x-blade is shattered, as in lore, and Ven and Vanitas reform someway, somehow in the future.
Luxu might have not served as their waypoint, but Xehanort could have. He does have flashes of seeing events of ux, both from and not from the player’s perspective.
When 978 comes out, our next boss is either ventus with the darkness inside trapped inside his heart. Or Vanitas with a helmet on comes out. ( I hope it's not the one who looks like sora. That will open up a can of worms involving master xehanort) Or ven turns the darkness into that heartless we fight in kh3 remind.
I highly doubt that the player character is going to take a pod to the future. If anything I think using the 5 pods inside of the data world will result in Skuld, Brain, Elrena, Laurium and either Demxy's somebody or Ven(Ven might be ejected from the data world during the X-Blade confrontation and Demxy's somebody might show up as dandelion still). Player character would stay inside the data world with Ephemer for the feels. Then in the real world Skuld, Elrena, Laurium, Ven, and Demyx's somebody would take the real world pods, while Brain stays behind with the No-Name bestowed to him by Luxu, and he goes on to start the Scala Ad Caelum lineage. My Proof? 1. Ephemer appears to Sora in KH3, if player character meets the same fate then it might explain why they appear to Young Xehanort at the start of Dark Road. 2. Demyx could still be a dandelion, as far as I know he still doesn't appear to be from the world where Luxord is from, and he seems like the cowardly type to just flee if the world starts collapsing around him. 3. Ven got ejected from the Key Blade graveyard in BBS after the X-Blade shattered, so perhaps something similair happens when the X-Blade shows up in the next update. 4. Skuld is Subject X, Elrena, Laurium, and Demyx become part of org 13 in the future, and Ven shows up in BBS, pretty much guaranteeing they're the ones who take pods. Alternatively, Demyx isn't a Dandelion, and either player character or Ephemer end up escaping, I still don't think that'll happen though. Edit: I paused the video 15 seconds before Damo started talking about what would happen if you didn't have memories and a medium to reform from, welp I guess playable character could still end up in one of those pods. :/
Since the land of departure being sealed meant it changed the world along with locking it away, maybe all the pods are taken and Daybreak Town is not as much destroyed more than it was by the Keyblade War as much as sealed in the same way. It's only really semantics at that point but it'd be interesting instead of Brain and them getting back and literally building Scala Ad Caelum, but instead magics up the world that Daybreak Town turns into Scala Ad Caelum as a sealed state similar to castle oblivion. Oooh and ultimate viewing order? I so so hope you mean chronologically I'm so desperate for a run of the KHUx scenes in order (rather than flashbacks being flashbacks)

I have a theory! What if Ephemer was transported to "Un-reality", and that's why we haven't seen him appear in Sora's timeline, aside from his "special" appearance in KH3? That would explain why he and the other keyblade wielders weren't physically there in the battle against the Heartless, but were still able to lend help via their keyblades. Ephemer's appearance in KH3 is very similar to Sora's in Melody of Memory when you think about it.
I dont know if this has passed your channel or not yet, but I'm starting to think that the MoM IS Sora, or, atleast an alternate future Sora. The MoM did state that when he fought the Darkness many years ago, (before the events of Unchained X) that the Darkness would also take on the appearance of humans. What if the Darkness that we know of in UX is the same Darkness that clashed with the MoM in the past? Effectively taking on MoM appearance. The Darkness did state that he and the MoM were "old friends". Also, seeing as this Darkness is most likely the same thats been dormant within Ven this whole time, giving Darkness form as Vanitas. All while having the appearance of Sora, or in this case, the MoM.
I think your theory is pretty spot on, the only thing different than my guess is that I dont think Brain will get No name from Luxu. Mainly because of the handing down of Master's Defender to Eraqus. Odin is the Master in Dark road, so he'll probably either be Luxu or get No name from Luxu. If Brain WAS to get No name from Luxu he'd have to pass it on to Odin as a master, which I think Xehanort and Eraqus would notice or mention. If Brain is Eraqus's grandfather I doubt he would be old enough to be Odin's master (since Odin is p old himself).
7 crowns. 7 Kings? After all a King must look after a "Kingdom." Could Sora and Yozora be 2 of the 7 crowns? We already saw artwork of Sora wearing a crown.
Just to get extra crazy. Why not, because the player couldn't find a vessel nor memories in the future the others are traveling to, they instead traveled into a different world. But not into a world of fiction, but instead into a world of un-fiction, in which they a suitable vessel even with all the memories of them exists. Yeah this is too stupid to write out the rest of. You know where this is going. Not even Nomura would go THAT meta.

Well, whether or not your theory proves to be correct, you are probably the best KH game theorist I've seen. Always enjoy hearing your explanations and theories because they honestly make the most sense and wrap the story up in a far more digestible format that I can understand.
Now that we have seen this update, i guess the reason Sora is so “special” and has such a strong a heart is because he allowed Ventus’s damaged heart to join his for so many years.
something I noticed, up till now (well in the past time) Luxu had never gone against the role he was given, but here he says he finally understands what the MoM wanted him to do. Till now he had seen all foretellers go against their role and how their decisions were gonna change the future the book had foretold but only their actions weren't enough. Now he knew he too had to go "against" his master's will (well in fact I think that's what the MoM wanted all along).
Luxu planting the seed of light for the future is probably the most important thing needed to actually change the fate the book of profecies had told. When I hear "seed of light for the future" I can only think of Kairi's grandmother, and how she pretty much is the reason Kairi could still believe in Sora and help him change the war's fate. Her grandma also seems to know too much to be just a regular citizen, she knows too much about the light and darkness clash from the past so to me she must be the person Luxu sent. Luxu also calls this person "the true dandelion" which only leads me to 2 people. Sterlitzia was the original 5th dandelion, ergo the true one, but also Ava was the one to form the dandelions and with her going against the role the Master gave her and trying to change the future I really think Luxu was talking about her. It would also make sense that she "didn't make it" to the keyblade graveyard with Luxu and the others since... she died of old age
So you think master ava is kairis grandmother 🤔 interesting theory. I just wonder what waypoint there is for her to arrive in radiant garden with a body, even if she didn't have her memories
@@abidance6444 Luxu can act as the waypoint for pretty much everyone, he knows and has memories of all of them since he has been watching. The only person he might not have memories of is the player, hence why and how the player might end up in quadratum as some people are theorizing. Now for Kairi's grandmother to be the person sent by Luxu then she must have arrived earlier than that so she would grow up and have a family. Can't explain how or when this happened and how she regained her memories if she was from the past but if she is Ava I doubt she'd lose her memories for that long

I think Ephemer and the player character are the ones who will stay behind as it would not only explain Ephemer's presence in KH3 as a sort of spirit, but the Union X story was building up the player character and Ephermer's friendship so it would actually be a perfect ending to their story by going out together while Lauriam, Skuld, Brain, Elrena, and Ventus escape to the future since it ties together so well. As for the girl in the white coat I think she is the entity of Light who has taken the form of Striletzia in order to combat the Darkness character who is also an entity representing Darkness. I also think the Master of Masters role is to represent the balance and is not on the side of Light or darkness that would explain his neutrality and deceit as well as his relationship with Darkness since his only seems to care about maintaining balance between light and darkness and meddeling with Time not really caring who gets hurt in the process.

The Master of Masters dooming both real and digital world(s) to ensure his passage into the future is pretty damn metal lol(and shows he's isn't some omnipotent untouchable being who can do whatever he wants, he needs to make plans and move pieces just like Xehanort did.)
Yeah. I think he’s doing this because he lost someone he was close to and he blames darkness for it. Grief can cause people to act irrationally and the MoM probably justified his actions (removing darkness permanently [which is a very bad idea] by defeating it) because he believes it’s the only solution to prevent more tragedy. I think he needs therapy personally. Lots and lots of it because his idea is a very bad one.

If he literally doomed worlds to destruction and set forth ever single thing that happened in the Kingdom Hearts series just because he was a little salty he lost someone, that'd ruin the story. Maybe young Xehanort abused the power of waking attempting to save his friends. He ended up in Quadratum just like Sora. Then, in Quadratum he met the Player who was sent there by an arc. Somehow young Xehanort returned and thus explaining why he knows about Quadratum and the Player.
This is why I still believe Luxord, which we saw with Yozora in the car is the Player with all his cards, games & gambling (gacha). Brought back to join the Org XIII because Xehanort knows him from Quadratum.
BBS V2 = A misson game like Days where you get to choose between Aqua, Terra, Ven, Kairi and later Marluxia and maybe Larxene to raid the realm of darkness in pursuit of Sora. :)
I wonder if the Master was being honest when he said "who knows? Anyone could end up using them." If he was, then that means that he wasn't able to observe what was happening in the Data world because Luxu was never there for his Keyblade to see it all play out. That would then mean that he (and possibly the Master) was waiting in the real world for them to return. The next update should be very interesting.
I don't even have the words to describe how excited I am for where the story is going. I hate that I haven't been able to get a copy of Melody of Memories. I'm this close to just spoil myself.
By the way Damo, thank you very much for all the work explaining this story over the years. You've definitely help me make sense of a couple of key points that were driving me nuts.

That theory you've made about our character is very interesting, it would make that boss fight with Yozora in Kingdom Hearts 3: ReMind where it comes with two different outcomes if you either lose or win all make sense, it would also make sense that the only memory that we've attained is the last page of the Book of Prophecies, which at this point is about the Keyblade War in Kingdom Hearts 3, the one Xehanort started and that we were able to help Sora prevent that prediction from coming true and change the future outcome, all those near defeat moments that Sora went through, we were able to save him from those and helped him keep on going. And here's another theory about our character which might be important. What if that heart that we've become would eventually become whole with a body again and leave that world to help the heroes of the future of the series we are now since we've seen the characters from the X saga coming back together in the modern future.

Someone has to be first. The evil fairy was first and she was sent to yensid castle and remembered by the fairies.

BIG TEXT AHEAD:
I have a theory. There are 7 pods to the future. Maleficent took 1; we know that Ventus, Laurian and Elrena used them to and there is probably Skuld (Subject X) also used 1. So thus far we know the usage of 5 pods remaining just 2. But in KH3 we are told that Demyx and Luxord are from the age of fairy tales so it must be them.
How those 2 got there? Well there is a theory that Luxord is the player from KHUX, a possible name for its real person is 'Ludor', latin for 'I Play', that fits both the gambler personality of Luxord and the nature of us 'Players'. Maybe he was reformed into the future in the Quadratum realm connecting him to Yozora and, most importantly, to MoM. It may be that like MoM, the player 'Ludor' is also from Quadatum, thats why we are special.
So Demyx, the only way that I can think of him going to the future is if he is the figure in the white cloack that Luxu sends to the future, but why and how he is the 'true dandelion is beyond me. But there is a speculation that Demys is somehow connected to MoM, but I trully dont know
When was stated that they are from the past? The only thing I thought was sure is that Luxord is from non-reality

Kingdom hearts is very esoteric, a lot of spiritual truths hidden in the story. Also it seems recently the story is showing the biblical stories. "We are many but we are one." Is similar to legion who were many demons possessing one body. The X blade is similar for the keys to heaven symbolism too. The book of prophecies is similar to the Bible. Along with the over all story and theme is speaking truths usually encountered and experienced during a spiritual awakening. It's brilliant!

I've also noticed how many things in KH are references to Christianity: light and darkness as good and evil (which is very common, anyway), the X-blade's design, and how UX decided to use the concept of guilt (and in Japanese, they literally use the character for "sin" - 罪 - as well)...

I believe that we are looking too much into the player. The player most likely will live out the rest of their lives in Daybreak town with Brain. As we see in KH3, there are a bunch of key blades from the people who played KHx. Even though Nomura is a meta-man I doubt he would go that far. The player has always been a bystander and played a minor role in the events of KHx. My guess is Larium, Ephemer, Skuld, Ven, Elrena, and Strelitzia will be the ones to use the rest of the arcs. Yozora is most likely one of the Dandelion leaders. My guess is that it will be Ephemer.
Just like Sora forced his image onto Kairi in MoM, I’m positive the same thing will happen to Sora if he wasn’t “saved” by Yozora.
We currently don’t understand how Ephemer was able to help Sora, but he helped him change the timeline. If this is true he would likely end up in the Final World as well due to committing the taboo of nature and hear me out, I believe who we’ve been calling “Stella”is actually Strelitzia.
Because Strelitzia is only a heart she can travel through time via her cloak and the memories of Luxu. She probably took the form of Stella due to her lack of a body and the failure of travel. I am not completely sure how Luxord and Demyx play into this though. My guess is that they’re beings from Quadratum. Demyx matches the vibe of Prompto perfectly and Luxord matches Ignis pretty well. How they got to the real world is beyond me. It probably has to do with this wildcard Luxord had and it was likely given to him by the MoM. I am 99% sure the MoM is pulling strings within Quadratum as well.

We know the seventh person already. The MoM. He says he’ll be traveling to the future in a pod when talking to the Darkness. The eye is his medium, and Luxu has the memories of him for his body to be reformed. Seems to me that the Player stays behind with the other Dabdelions.
Dude, the interaction between Luxu and Darkeness was after the Union leader fight with Darkness. Because darkness said “all key blade wielders left the world when they started the convo. That body wrapped in white is definitely Ven. He got bodied by Darkness and that’s how he lost his memories in BBS
Darkness said "There shouldn't be any Keyblade Masters left in this world." Masters, aka the foretellers. Look at the room, Maleficent's pod has left and that literally just happened before Lauriam found the rest of the Union Leaders and started this whole fight. You aren't the only one mixing this up, I've seen tons of people thinking it could be Ven but this scene is happening in tandem with the Union Leaders fight

Well, Jimmy Journal does have things in it that Jimmy never wrote down. For example, the guy in the brown robe (Ansem, Seeker of Darkness) opening Riku's way off the destroyed Destiny Islands.

So I was browsing TV Tropes and under the Nightmare Fuel page someone said you could see Daybreak Town's Clock Tower in the underwater segment of Xehanort's boss fight.
Considering how he warps Caelum like how Castle Oblivion was made you might just be onto something there.
Yup, it's there! I suppose I shouldn't take this knowledge for granted because it's definitely something you can not notice while playing KH3. The gears and mechanisms of the clock have split and seem to be falling apart, but are completely frozen in time during the fight. I do wonder very much if the end result of our time in the tower and some of the union leaders escaping will be creating that time freezing event
I’m trying to complete the proud mode, because I think it might have a secret ending. Why else would developers decrease the difficulty at all
I know I'm super late with this, but with Epherma connecting with Sora in KH3, maybe the player character from Cross doesn't actually take an ark but is only brought back as a heart through Epherma's memories of them and the "vessel" is their actual Keyblade sitting in the Graveyard? It's not a fully fleshed out idea but the fact that the keys thrown at the darkness by Sora all contain actual users says to me that Sora's heart is strong enough to push them through with Epherma's combined memories. So the arks will house Skuld, Ven, Lauriam, Epherma, and Elerna.
It just came to me now. Xehanorth could be "the other version of player, the one that belongs to the darkness". That would explain why he has memories of player on Destiny Islands and the weird sentence by Chirity. This would also mean that we not only will have to deal with somebodies, nobodies, hearltess version of someone, data version and dream worlds. It will add another "x" to the equation (LOL) that we never thought of. I always thought that the name "unversed" was quite odd. But if they chose to call these alternative versions of somebodies "unversed" it would come full circle in my opinion.
Aaaaand this could explain the "black pieces" of the chess game representing the MoM and the Dandelions.They could now appear as their inverted forms belonging to darkness.
Maybe this idea could even expand to explain why Yoozora "doesn't really look like that".

The idea of Yozora being connected to the player character of Union X makes me wonder about the possibility of the only other Quadratum character we’ve met (barring possibly Luxord), the Star, being connected to Strelitzia. Not sure if that holds any weight but it’s an interesting thought.

Thats the funny thing about messing with/following prophecies... They almost *_never_* go exactly as you plan or thought they would go, and neither do they stay that way. Mass misinterpretations, symbolisms drawn and spotted, metaphoricals made, presumptions thought of, instinctive considerations, gospels preached, paths taken, fates denoted... They're all natural and easily used to either guess or incorrectly answer what a prophecy says would happen. And even when it does go one direction you expect, it can easily just come back around and turn contradictive to its very sayings, those who had been a part of it saying that "yes it did happen, but that didn't mean the end, then and there"
And that's happened quite a lot in media, books and other forms of entertainment that contained prophecies: Harry Potter, Star Wars (big time for the Jedi Order who massively misinterpreted and failed to understand what "balance" can mean) they all have multiple interpretations and a great deal of speculations, and rarely do they ever stick the landing so to speak.
Guia calls the hiddden page in the Book vague. Mom made it that way. Darkness cold be watching.

If Ven does become the x-blade (with what I am assuming is a pre-form of Vanitas), then he/they would be an object. Then they don't necessarily need a pod. The x-blade (pieces?) could be put in a pod with someone else. Or else the x-blade is shattered, as in lore, and Ven and Vanitas reform someway, somehow in the future.

Ventus is in the Book. He is in the waypoint, like Mom is. Think Jimmy's Journal in Re Coded.
Luxu might have not served as their waypoint, but Xehanort could have. He does have flashes of seeing events of ux, both from and not from the player’s perspective.

When 978 comes out, our next boss is either ventus with the darkness inside trapped inside his heart.
Or Vanitas with a helmet on comes out. ( I hope it's not the one who looks like sora. That will open up a can of worms involving master xehanort)

I highly doubt that the player character is going to take a pod to the future. If anything I think using the 5 pods inside of the data world will result in Skuld, Brain, Elrena, Laurium and either Demxy's somebody or Ven(Ven might be ejected from the data world during the X-Blade confrontation and Demxy's somebody might show up as dandelion still). Player character would stay inside the data world with Ephemer for the feels. Then in the real world Skuld, Elrena, Laurium, Ven, and Demyx's somebody would take the real world pods, while Brain stays behind with the No-Name bestowed to him by Luxu, and he goes on to start the Scala Ad Caelum lineage.
My Proof?
1. Ephemer appears to Sora in KH3, if player character meets the same fate then it might explain why they appear to Young Xehanort at the start of Dark Road.
2. Demyx could still be a dandelion, as far as I know he still doesn't appear to be from the world where Luxord is from, and he seems like the cowardly type to just flee if the world starts collapsing around him.
3. Ven got ejected from the Key Blade graveyard in BBS after the X-Blade shattered, so perhaps something similair happens when the X-Blade shows up in the next update.
4. Skuld is Subject X, Elrena, Laurium, and Demyx become part of org 13 in the future, and Ven shows up in BBS, pretty much guaranteeing they're the ones who take pods.
Alternatively, Demyx isn't a Dandelion, and either player character or Ephemer end up escaping, I still don't think that'll happen though.
Edit: I paused the video 15 seconds before Damo started talking about what would happen if you didn't have memories and a medium to reform from, welp I guess playable character could still end up in one of those pods. :/
Since the land of departure being sealed meant it changed the world along with locking it away, maybe all the pods are taken and Daybreak Town is not as much destroyed more than it was by the Keyblade War as much as sealed in the same way. It's only really semantics at that point but it'd be interesting instead of Brain and them getting back and literally building Scala Ad Caelum, but instead magics up the world that Daybreak Town turns into Scala Ad Caelum as a sealed state similar to castle oblivion.
Oooh and ultimate viewing order? I so so hope you mean chronologically I'm so desperate for a run of the KHUx scenes in order (rather than flashbacks being flashbacks)

I have a theory! What if Ephemer was transported to "Un-reality", and that's why we haven't seen him appear in Sora's timeline, aside from his "special" appearance in KH3? That would explain why he and the other keyblade wielders weren't physically there in the battle against the Heartless, but were still able to lend help via their keyblades. Ephemer's appearance in KH3 is very similar to Sora's in Melody of Memory when you think about it.
I dont know if this has passed your channel or not yet, but I'm starting to think that the MoM IS Sora, or, atleast an alternate future Sora. The MoM did state that when he fought the Darkness many years ago, (before the events of Unchained X) that the Darkness would also take on the appearance of humans. What if the Darkness that we know of in UX is the same Darkness that clashed with the MoM in the past? Effectively taking on MoM appearance. The Darkness did state that he and the MoM were "old friends".
Also, seeing as this Darkness is most likely the same thats been dormant within Ven this whole time, giving Darkness form as Vanitas. All while having the appearance of Sora, or in this case, the MoM.
I think your theory is pretty spot on, the only thing different than my guess is that I dont think Brain will get No name from Luxu. Mainly because of the handing down of Master's Defender to Eraqus. Odin is the Master in Dark road, so he'll probably either be Luxu or get No name from Luxu. If Brain WAS to get No name from Luxu he'd have to pass it on to Odin as a master, which I think Xehanort and Eraqus would notice or mention. If Brain is Eraqus's grandfather I doubt he would be old enough to be Odin's master (since Odin is p old himself).

Why not, because the player couldn't find a vessel nor memories in the future the others are traveling to, they instead traveled into a different world. But not into a world of fiction, but instead into a world of un-fiction, in which they a suitable vessel even with all the memories of them exists.
