And Ikki endured that attack just barely left alive but dang imagine if he didn't have the phoenix cloth and the fact that 2 moves used twice don't work on a saint as he got this done 2 times on him he'd be dead.
Ikki took a lot of damage but definitely wasn't berely left alive. He still had more than enough energy to fight AND pise a threat to Aiacos. Of course, if he didn't have his Cloth, he would have lost (or not...-he is know to always "come back from death"). But what if Aiacos didn't have his Sapuris too?..
This attack had the potential to be just sick awesome. How brutal would have been if the victim were propelled down towards the ground by the Garuda figure/claws?
i mean, yeah, this is based on some very basic 80's manga, but i will tell ya, the manga is actually pretty good, specialyl if you are tired of power levels that make no sense. saint seiya is pretty much one of the few where we see the highest level of power early on, and that bar is not raised or broken later.
@@marcosdheleno yeah man, I know it's old, but there's a difference between old and cheap. I keep revisiting the old episodes that have amazing animation like Saga vs Ikki and Seiya. Hyoga vs Milo. Bronce Saints vs Centaur. Etc The Hades in Sanctuary episodes are gorgeous. They really bombed the animation in this second half and it's so bad that it literally takes me out. It's ok to have cheap episodes, but not a cheap season

Toei should have remastered this series with better effects that could have made up with the cheap animations, but they didn't.
SS has a lot of fans around the world. It's a great business to them.

knowing how op saints are, i dont think zamasu would have much of a choice, since, ikki was already at the level of a gold saint by this point.
