Thank you Miss Sheryl!! I am so thrilled you loved this!! I am finding I want to create a few more of these, but building in the time to do so....well, a little bit harder to do. So, Please, I hope you will create one!! Sending you hugs! :)
Aw, thank you so much, Miss Jacqueline! I do hope you make one for mother’s Day!… I’m just hoping to get a little bit better before that happens… Been under the weather lately… Sending you my biggest hugs!🤗❤️👍🏻
Heaven help me, the spouse will throttle me….. I just posted on my local ‘buy nothing’ group for soda pop cans. I’m a ‘buy nothing’ junkie because I can reuse, recycle and repurpose stuff (junk?) in my art studio and projects, so I’m constantly posting for things or getting “gifted” stuff to work with 😜. I have to keep reiterating to him that I am not a hoarder, I am an artist!! I love your work, always❣️
LMBO!!!! B=bum in this case...LOLOLOL!! I am so with you here!! If I can recycle somehow and reuse...I am there with bells on!! LOLOL!! And just so you know, power on!! Your hubby might kill me too with me supporting you in this regard!! LOLOL!! Also, thank you so much for your kind compliment on my work!! I am so grateful you appreciate what I create and do!! Bless you! Otherwise and until next time...sending you my biggest hugs! :)
Thank you so much, Miss Deb! The Neiss thing about these envelopes is that they can go far beyond even just a Valentine! Hope you’re doing well and sending you my very best!… Plus my biggest hugs!🤗❤️👍🏻
You are most welcome, Miss Beth!! Wow!! Thank you for your kind compliment!! And especially on my creativity and teaching!! ...just wow!! AWWWWW...Thankyou so much!! What a wonderful compliment!! Bless you!! I hope this project inspires you to create your own precious valentine!! Sending hugs! :)
Awwww, thank you for that, Miss Selene!! This project gave me a great excuse to create some of my roses!! ...and not sure if you saw, but I used my middle finger to create all of my roses and leaves...and not my index...I had a slight argument with a knife recently cutting up salad up, and opps....LOLOLOL!! Unfortunately, the knife won the argument!! LOLOLOL!! But suffice it to say...glad to have these cute little envelopes around to enjoy... Sending you my biggest of hugs! :)
Thank you so much!! And yes, multiple baking with polymer clay is a definite YES!! The nice thing about being able to bake multiple times is that you can always have to option of going back into a piece and add something in if you forgot to add something, or you have an idea that could make it better. Hugs your way! :)
Hmmmm...Not necessarily...This is due to the fact that I need a flat and smooth surface to form my thin clay off of. Plus this is an envelope, like an open envelope, it's nice to have a pocket to work out of with all of my roses, etc. Again, I do hope this helps. Sending my hugs again...:)
I have heard that if you use foil inside the clay you need to poke the clay with holes to let the hot air that accumulates inside the foil out otherwise you it can explode have you had this issue or not at all?
I have never heard of this...huh!....and to be quite honest, never had an issue either. I can't tell you how many times I have put tin foil forms in the oven and baked clay on them. And just for reference, I live in a high altitude environment. A little over 1 mile high, in the Mile High city area of Denver, Colorado. So, hopefully that helps. Sending my hugs! :)
These are sweet Laura! The colours are gorgeous. You are so creative. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderfully made! Baking the clay multiple times is ok? I always wondered.

@@laurajschiller thank you for the info. This opens up wider options! Yay!
I was wondering of instead of using pop can could you use foil to create the envelope? Thanks
