Myanmar Inle Lake: Things to Do 4K - Boat Tour, Horse Riding, Food Markets, Wine Tasting & More

Overwater huts and monasteries, floating markets and gardens, fishermen-acrobats and long-necked women, 🏇 riding horses through banana and tobacco plantations, 🍷 wine tastings, night food markets at Nyaung Shwe and bicycle tours 🚵‍♀️ - there is much to see and do around Inle Lake in Myanmar. 🌊
In this episode, we visit Inle Lake in Myanmar.
We start off with a boat tour to see the traditional villages on the lake, we visit the workshops and watch a fisherman balance on his boat wielding a huge fish trap. We also fly our drone over the lake an arrange for a custom sunset tour.
After the boat tour, we explore the market in Nyaung Shwe which turned out to be very interesting.
A definite highlight is the horse ride we did at Inle Horse Club. Riding through banana and tobacco plantations, past some temples and racing the horses on a plateau overlooking the lake.
The night food market at Nyaung Shwe is worth a visit - the regional food is delicious and there is a great number of things to try.
The next day we head out to do a bicycle tour and try some wine at the local vineyard.
