Ya I know the S 81 in my opinion is one of the best early game bombers due to its massive bomb load and 360 degrees defence gunners. Pretty op for like BR 1.3 or whatever it is.

When the Italians tech tree was first released, I researched every Italian plane with the G55s. Best money ever for a premium.

the G91 was chosen by the NATO as it's ground fighter! Germany, Italy, and a few more used it! btw, the G91 yankee is a very good plane and only to let you know, most dogfights doesn't happen with supersonic speed!!

Italy has got a lot of naval planes and lots of other intreasting vehicles ,even supersonic planes, but Gaijin doesn't care about Italian tech tree
Well you see the reason for the former it's because most of them came pretty late since for Italy it took quite a long time to get an aircraft carrier and the latter came, let's say, a little late
it sad really but the tree has interesting planes like it 3 engine bombers some of the best fighters in the game it truly a good tree for planes not the actual way gagin designed it
it seems normal to you that with my g91ys I have to spend more than 20k of sl every time, then we don't even have a supersonic jet

So Props have 25-44k of repair cost, cuz reasons, and instead of giving us F-104S, or any other jet to italy, you gave 2nd Phantom to US, Phantom to Japan. Russia have 2 MiG-21, and MiG-19. Germany not that far away too. Point is, that italy is suffering, and not a single forum thread is gonna change anything, cuz gaijin dont care

In all honesty, the Italian tier 4 fighters are a huge pain in the ass to deal, same as the Japanese, so I'm sort of fine with those having a high repair cost.
And those tier 4 planes with a high repair cost are luckily not the ones I think of when thinking about Italian ww2 fighters, aka the game could've gone without them.
As an Italian I love the planes of the Italian tech tree, but the repair and research costs are absurd to the point that without spending real money it is almost impossible to complete it or at least get any plane after the third stage

For the love of God give Italy it's supersonic. The F-104 would be perfect ; different than all supersonics ( maybe exept t-2 ) and the onething italy's plane tree needs .
But then USA would have to get it as well, not to mention Germany. So it wonât be unique to Italy
@@kkang2828 Italy has its own unique F-104S, ASA and ASA-M. Also USA can get F-104A, while F-104G can be for multiple nations.
@Arseny Suslenkov Oh I didnât know that. Do the Italian F-104 models have a big difference compared to the F-104A/G? I know that the Germans modified their F-104G to carry anti ship missiles.

The C.202EC is now my highest scoring plane in the game. I think I have an average k/d of 4 kills in most matches. That plane is insane and I love it.

I have an idea to remove the tendency to break your SL balance with a change to repair cost. You donât have to pay the repair cost equal to the battle time. So if a bomber is flying in the stratosphere, and isnât doing much, they will have more repair bills, while the fighter that is doing everything will have to pay less

Why the hell would you penalize a bomber for dropping its load and climbing? They stay up there to not get strafe when rtb, the moment this gets implemented the bomber players will dissappear

The P.108A serie 2 is the Archer of the Aviation tree. No one really plays it.
Re.2005 is great for mixed battles, but with its 20k repair cost it's too expensive to use. Overall Italian planes have too high repair costs, just compare them to other nations, like USA, USSR, Germany.

Idc about jets, or modern tanks, that's why I'm happy with my pasta dealers... On the other hand makes me sad to fly over Korea with ww2 Italian planes on RB, and sadder when I fight on Japan, Kursk, Depot etc on tank RB with the Italian tanks and planes, not to mention that they are going to release the Regia Marina, with no naval fighters/bombers on the tree, there's no mechanics for scout planes, no aircraft carrier battles, no missions to protect convoys against subs, no missions to bomb crippled BBs, CAs or CLs, no combined arms integrated on RB matchmaker... More of the same plain grind to an end game, which is not getting to the last vehicle of the tree but being bored instead of capturing circular areas on the map without any other incentive. I would love to take the opportunity to point out a very notable absence... the Romanian IAR-81C. most people forget the premium plane exists but its one of the best boom and zoom aircraft in the game with both its rockets, and its bomb being exceptional at taking out ground targets. and while you definitely don't want to try to turn fight with it, in air battles it more than makes up for its lack of maneuverability with its powerful complement of 20mm cannons. utilizing MinengeschoĂ ammo this plane makes quick work of bombers and fighters alike. this plane is honestly one of the best planes in the game... however a BIG disclaimer, this plane does take a very skilled pilot. (I'm not saying that I am that pilot... everything I have learned has been from others... But in the right/wrong hands, oh boy). if anyone is new to the Italian tech trees and is considering a premium plane worth your time, I regularly kill tanks 8.0 and up with those rockets... even with the ani-air belt loaded i managed to kill a M4a3 76W through its top armor. its an extremely forgotten plane and its a big shame with how much fun it is.
The Spit-getti is my favorite.

re 2005 better for mixed battles? im sure its decent there but imo its great at air RB too. its just pretty slow in top speed. Thats about its only flaw. It turns well, awesome guns, good stalling characteristics and climbs well
As someone that has played through the tree I must say it's a meme tree and that's it, they're pretty useless when they have to go up against American, Russian and British planes

Could you lower the Re2005 down to 5.7 ? At 6.0 it is quite slow to fight against jet effectively unlike P-51H and spitfire mk24, even though it is quite agile, the lack of speed feels like it should belong to 5.7, not even mentioning the repair cost. Just my opinion.

Guys i have an important Tip for the 12 mm machine guns.
The default belts are awful and do less damage than the brithish 7.7 mgs but you only get 2 of them. So you should research new belts first and select air-targets. They will boost your guns performance significantly.
So Not going to mention that the G91 R4 in the game belongs to the Portuguese Air Force rip in bacalhau

When are we going to get fire extinguishers for heavy bombers like B-17 and Lancaster and Bv-238? The idea is that if your engine is on fire, you extinguish the fire but loose that engine.

My favorite aircraft would have to be the G91 R/4 as its quite fun to play and once one has mastered the aircraft it becomes clear who rules the skys

ROTFL you climb the ranks to a point where your G-91Y is forced to fight against f-4 and mig-21 that outran and outclimb you easily. And to barely achieve SL balance at the end of the game you must kill at least a pair of enemy planes before dying due to a ridiculously high repair cost..
SM-91 is one of my favorite 3.7s to bring to 5.7 and get 3 kills without dying in it
