It will probably be mentioned in a family video, but I have heard that using revolves is a good way to control rotation parameters. I haven't done it myself per say, but it does seem like the way to go if you need to control a rotation that will not break the way a reference line and/or plane can.
Yes you are on to something. Just like we can associate a height parameter to an extrusion in a basic extrusion family, you can do the same for the revolution in revolves. The associate parameter button next to the angles will allow you to add a parameter to it in the family. I hope I answered your question. I should have put that in the video! :/
(line in sketch is slightly off axis and may cause inaccuracies) Hello there, is there any way to fix this warning massage inside a family (created by Lookup Table)?? please any advice, its important to me, thank you
If it is truly off axis then you can try to re draw it but honestly when I see that warning and I cannot fix it quickly, I just move on because you will never be able to tell (unless you can haha). The warning itself is not a huge deal from a processing standpoint either.
@@ArchitectureVanguard but when your task is creating families for the manufacturer and the customer uses ur family with this massage, it’ll be huge problem LOL
thanks
No problem!
Architecture Vanguard
