Due to Australia being an island continent with such a vast array of landscapes, we are home to some of the most unique animals on the planet. Our reptile species are no different as they have adapted over millions of years to be perfectly suited to their natural surrounds.
From blue tongues to make them seem dangerous, through to looking like they have two heads and are rocks, they are definitely unique.

I just love how blue tongues will show up in your back yard. They can tell when you aren't a threat to them and let you feed them.
