- The 173 pages make grim reading for Rochdale Council, the Crown Prosecution Service and Greater Manchester Police, which today issued an apology over its multiple failed investigations.

The official report found a series of serious policing failures had left children "at the mercy" of grooming gangs in Rochdale and identified 96 men still considered a potential threat to girls.

It's terrifying how more crimes against children are being reported everyday. Yet barely anything is done to those harming them. If anything the "justice" system seems more keen on protecting abusers than their victims.
The whole report before going to the studio presenter did not mention the perpetrators other than to say that they were male. This is a key reason why the problem was not dealt with and obviously continues to be too 'sensitive' to talk about let alone do anything about.
