    Timo, you’re a great player and an inspiration man. Certainly were for me when I started playing back in 2008 and to be honest that has not changed. But with your coaching I think you should get more to the technical components and explain better what you do and how you do it more thoroughly. I know that for a man that has been playing table tennis since he could barely walk it’s all obvious and easy, but I suppose for the majority of your viewers might not. Stay safe and keep on going friend, best of luck with everything 👌🏻

    I'm a left handed player, and I have to say that you inspired me to get better, I watched all your matches from youtube, and I've practised the hand switch, but for intermediate players is quite difficult because the "feeling" and muscle memory is not developed on the other arm/hand, you have to train it quite a lot, and usually intermediate players don't have the time, the robot, or a partner to practise those shots.
    Also, I have to say that even when being a professional doesn't leave a lot of free time to do other things (and if TableTennis is your job, you want to disconnect as much as you can, I guess), you seem so friendly and approachable, love your videos when you collaborate with youtubers such as TT Daily. 🏓👊

    And my suggestion to WTT - there must be allowed two rackets in both player's hands. So no one will need a hand switch in this case😜

    Dear Timo,
    I think you are anticipating what table tennis will look like in the future. I think all players in the future will play with both hands (they will be trained in hand switching from an early age). I also think that in the future the players will be playing closer to the table and the game will become even faster than it is today.
    By the way, a question. Do the rules currently prohibit playing with two rackets (you would then not need a switching hand)?
    I am an amateur, but not so long ago I bought a "Timo Boll ALC" blade + "Dignics 0.5" rubber! 😃😃
    However I had to get used to this racket for a long time because previously I played with the "Zoran Primorac 7000 Anatomic" + Wakaba D-13 rubber.
    I would like to play at least one set with you one day (my son also dreams of playing with you). 😃😃
    Do you play tennis and chess? If we were to organize such a non-classic triathlon, maybe I would have a chance to win?
    😃😃
    What is the chance that you will play again in my hometown - Warsaw?
    Greetings from Warsaw, Poland. 😃😃

  • @jayb293
    @jayb293 Před 3 lety

    Hi Timo. i'm analysing your games since your swap to the Primorac blade and i think you are more dangerous with it. this blade is more suited to your game close to the table. i think some players must have told it to you right? you are adjusting to it pretty well. you can make the swap without major issues in your game. your touch is good enough and you have the experience too.
    trading a bit of confidence in the blade to be deadlier in your shots is basically like having your blade + T05 but with huge grip from D09C. which is what you need for your game in the end. if you want a bit more feeling in the handle you can see with Butterfly to make a slightly thinner version of Primorac with ZLC carbon. i tell you that because the Garaydia ZLC is pretty much a Primorac with ZLC and the feeling is a lot better than the Primorac T5000. T5000 carbon is very strong and stiff. in terms of feeling it's "too far" from your ALC blade.
    like a 6.2/6.5mm thickness ZLC + hinoki + kiri core would give you a good combo. not as fast as Primorac but faster than your blade with a better feeling than Primorac.
