i was about to say you never have to apologize to us Mr. Meat
😢
Do better
really not okay papa meat. You should feel really bad.
Noel is great at knowing when to just shut up and listen to the new important pieces of Hunter lore
he's so good at asking questions at the right time too, to unravel even more of the lore
@@whatev2453it was really touching when Noel asked hunter if he cut his cardboard car shades in an artsy way
Damn, it was nice to see hunter just be genuine. His story really made me see his character more, it was nice
noel's thing about feeling like you "haven't suffered enough" after accomplishing something is so real
I love hearing Hunter talk about his life, what a genuine and great person man. I relate to his struggle of moving out the Midwest as a Michigan man
In his 40s, I'm really believing he doesn't have any awful scandals that are going to brew up.
I love how this podcast is just two guys trying to show each other how much they appreciate one another. Still surreal that this pair would have a podcast together if you really think about it. Every podcast episode feels like a surprise collab again and again
the absolute best vibes fr
that's a really sweet comment
I love learning about the pros of alcoholism from my favorite podcast!
Really needed Hunter’s Midwest talk rn tbh sometimes u just gotta go day by day and that’s good enough :)
Dam, i can't believe i can relate to Hunter being homeless. Im currently homeless and living in my car in sucks.
At least theres light at the end of it, if papa meat can get outta that situation u can too 🙏🙏
I was homeless last year and I agree it's terrible, I hope this phase of your life is over soon. you got this dude!
I kept thinking at if I had a car, my homelessness wouldn’t have been so bad
That sucks bro i hope and pray light comes your way and helps you out.
yeah homeless for a bit to, getting out of homelessness is hard because jobs are hard to get and they doin't pay to much
Call me reverse Garfield cuz I love mondays thx to stretch and fade

samee. i look forward to mondays now
I’m a tattoo artist and I totally relate with the needing validation. It doesn’t matter how much my client likes their tattoo, or how many likes I get on Instagram.. I’ll always see flaws in my work. But then when another tattoo artist tells me my work is good, or they like/follow me, that is when I feel accomplished. But I’ve also learned that we as artists gotta live with the dislike of our own work, because that is what keeps us trying to do better.
Feel this as another tattoo artist. Impossible not to see the flaws
i agree to an extent, being unsatisfied with your work does push you to be better but constantly feeling like your work isn’t good enough could lead to you reaching a point where you feel like no matter how hard you try and how much effort you put into your work that it’s never “good enough” and the joy of it is gone altogether. i’m not a tattoo artist but i am an artist so i’m just speaking from personal experience and since i struggle with the same thing i try to implement a healthier mindset of validating myself so i don’t constantly feel like a “fraud” and actually giving myself the chance to feel proud of my work, as relying on external validation will always leave us unfulfilled no matter how much of it we get. i also try my best to only view my mistakes in an analytical sense so i can do better next time instead of seeing at as the reasons why that piece sucks. imposter syndrome is an easy thing to feed into and hard to ignore but trying makes a big difference :)
Id like more real convos here and there. Pretty refreshing
Hunters talk about pursuing your dream is so refreshing to hear
i really liked this episode it was nice hearing some of the hard times, it was very relatable
The 2nd half of this conversation was so real. Thank you for this boys. Always appreciate the laughs but this hit deep.
the bromance is so adorable.
I've watched every single one of these so far, Favorite Podcast for sure. NEVER STOPP
i like how noel technically got the last laugh because his laugh is used in the outro
midwest walmart cashier here - you get life stories daily. i don’t mind it because i’m nosy and its interesting sometimes.
from cowokers & customers **
no I love getting all the tea about people I don’t even know
Holy shit Hunter, thanks for sharing dude. That’s really intense and it’s nuts to see how hard you worked and you made it
hi ik the ep wasn't meant to be sentimental or emotional, but hearing more about Papa's story is really motivating! I'm still young and there's a lot I still want to do in life! Thank you Papa!
Hard not to get parasocial when the content is so relatable. You both are fantastic examples of resilience in the face of adversity and trauma. This episode provided a surprising amount of closure at least for me.
noel went full black mirroir and got an ai to be hunter
this show is nice for my mental health
Love the real talk in this episode!!
Hunter was straight spittin
"I would eat you outta spite" LOOOOL
Just got home from a long school day and opened CZcams up to this gem 😭😫

I love getting stretched and faded
The audio is truly ball against wall.
30:13 He provided no type of additional assistance when he knew you really could’ve used help because it, “Wasn’t his job.”. That gentleman in particular was a class act. 👏🏾
Thank you for everything you do Hunter. You are so respectable and genuine, I’ve never related with a creator more. Thank you for everything you are and everything you do.💛
I really appreciate the transparency of this episode, as someone who has been through an extremely similar situation as Hunter it’s good to hear someone willpower through it
Glad to see That hunter was AI generated this episode
Noel nailed it with figuring out if I’ve done shit wrong etc … i get that.😢
this is definitely the best episode of the podcast so far. it's so real and genuine and interesting to listen to. would love more of you guys really talking, even more than the comedy!!
I love when this podcast turns into a therapy session every episode

Great to see you guys get more personal on this episode!
The talents of the Midwest are that of craftsmanship
Damn the search for validation goes crazzyyy😂crazy
I buried fibre optics this past summer for a trash company with NO LOCATES. Every time i slammed the SPADE (shit was real low budget) into the ground, I was waiting to fuck up astronomically.
LOVE!!!! love the real talk i feel seen
I thought this would be another poop, barf, and nut video, but it turned out to be really mature and philosophical. Love the podcast and I hope you both continue to live well.
fantastic episode
As if I couldn’t love that fluffy unibrow man even more. What a lad
when it comes to large philosophical life question a good thing to always remember is balance is key
Meat lore goes brrrr. Loved this epi one my favorites. Real and genuine.
this podcast helps me more than my therapist
10/10 as usual
25:32 They put in the kind of work that makes you damn near competitive out there. I found myself being a model employee beyond my own cognizance.
Refreshing
These bois deserve more views than beastly
Best episode yet, love the real shit

Noel bringing up Oldboy really did something to me 🥵
I cant wait until next weeks pod lol
Best podcast on CZcams
God damn listening to Papa Meat talk about cement pouring in Carlsbad while I’m currently digging trenches in Encinitas gave me goose bumps.
Love u guys
Yo Noel and Hunter, y’all are the man’s.
The way they describe the Midwest just reminds me of New Orleans except we have jazz and Cajun/creole food
47:00 Noel feels like he needs to cry
Noel will always make me feel better about being from KC.
Noel's cheekcirrones
deep topics today, goddamn
What app do yall use to chat? the edit is so seamless.
Is his wife considered a big game hunter?
I've done the same thing twice in my life for a total of about 6 months. Worked. Planet fitness shower. Slept in my car and got WiFi at McDonalds to send job apps and apartment apps to just try to claw out.
It was hard. It was also simpler.
Shout out to Hunter doing construction work in my hometown of Carlsbad
I'm honestly scared of Hunter regaining full power
time to make chicken and watch these goons
The "not suffering enough" deal, that is called good ole 'imposter syndrome'! Or fraud syndrome/the imposter phenomenon. It is that dark cloud that sometimes looms over you when you are particularly successful (especially if others are congratulatory)-it's the sudden doubt of your abilities and feeling like a fraud. It is a completely normal, common thing and the main causes of it seem to be family dynamics or cultural expectations... but low self-esteem is a big one too.
alot of the shit said here is honestly inspiring
Hunter literally just wished that the red bull ad campaign existed... lol have I got news for you dog
Ball against the wall
my whole face at 14:50 while living in minnesota 😧😧😧🥴🥴
Iowa produces the stars but i agree with hunter to an extent about the Midwest hahaha
So cool that i can hear about noel’s deep fried cheeks in spatial audio
46:41 You folks are just folks. People are crazy. I just say hi & thanks. I had the lightest conversations with some good people back when I had Twitter just Tweeting like a human about thoughts instead of foaming at the mouth. The only problem is that not caring for celebrities a double edged sword.
*Edit - Respecting it is another thing.
on this episode of stretch and fade: hunter and noel discover imposter syndrome
🔥 💯
Swifties and Midwest emo kids adding Hunter to their hit list.
34:21 I was alone in a car and some guy came up to the passenger side, my door trying to open it. the car wasn’t locked but u have to pull it twice to open it, he gave up and saw me then yelled at me saying I’m a cop 😭 his friend came out a truck but the guy said to leave..
polyphia now this awesome
I love how Hunter goes on about loving the simple midwestern people and how they're just doing their best, living their lives and Noel gives this wholesome story about a nice lady at Home Depot, only for Hunter to respond with, "I hate people like that. Fuck her" 😂😂
I made it to the stoner’s hour
